I think it's almost certain that they won't make 4-leg rigs use any of the current animations - they'd have their own set of suitable animal animations, and wouldn't have any costume parts either - just the ability to tint the fur/skin.

That isn't me - that's just someone who seems to like part of my forum avatar

The new Atlas content also has some foreshadowing, with the Hellion cult bcoming more apocalyptic after the destruction of Galaxy City - so the new tutorial seems like it's going to be used as a trigger for a lot of future content.

Katie might need to be still in the asylum for the Mother Mayhem Trial

Since the destruction of Galaxy City, the Rulu-Shin had a lot more recruits from people looking for "answers", which is why they've become more prominent now.

Quote:What's wrong with crazed cultists trying to free an insane god to devour the multiverse?I hate that the Rulu-Shin are becoming something legitimate in CoH putely by virtue of us talking about them.
Can't we just collectively pretend they don't exist? Rularuu ninjas. Way to jump the friggin' shark.

Cthulhu is waking up!

Totally suits.

By the way, for anyone who's not been on Test, the Trial is open to levels 15-50, but is run at level 29, and it requires 4 people to play it - that's 4 minimum, and 4 maximum.

For general lore reasons, if the killing blow is done by the player and not an NPC, they'll probably need to make the identity of the killer unknown to the rest of the game world, otherwise it'd be very difficult to write the offical story of what happened to the one who dies.

I'll let you know once I have 2 different avatars

It has 3 stances, and 2 main animations - it stands on all fours, then stretches out its front legs and paws the ground a bit, it lies down, and it also sits down and scratches itself with one back leg.
Even if it's not a genuine 4-legged rig, it still opens up a few new things, like cosmetic cats and dogs scattered around the city, or even a Paragon City zoo. -

I do hope that we get a pay-to-win option soon - I've been playing for over 5 years now, and I still haven't managed to beat the game.

It isn't

Quote:It's the way it's being presented as something good an heroic that's the most offensive part, when all the other references to mass-murder in the game are always presented as totally evil. There are people out there who hate the whole concept of Halloween as a "holiday" and they probably hate all the badges associated with it in the game. The Devs had to draw the line somewhere and as far as they're concerned they don't see the use of "Malleus" for a badge as offensive. I suppose we all have to pick and choose what offends us - I happen to let that particular one slide. *shrugs*

If it makes you feel better, Praetoria is involved later on
