There's a "contact" for them on Beta right now.

Quote:The recent content in the past year or so since Going Rogue is easily the best stuff they've ever done, and each new Issue just keeps making the game better and better.the story content. From Atlas Park to First Ward - CoH finally has real stories rather than just bookends of text on defeat all missions. It feels like they wrote stories and then came up with the missions that fit them, rather than the reverse. The characters are interesting (especially in Twinshot's arcs), your achievements matter (in that the world is changed). They are fun to go through - I actually want to experience the stories not just explore the maps.
And welcome back

Quote:Actualy, I think it's simply that they'd prefer to sell separate versions of various types of dogs and wolvesNope!
If it was, you could turn it back into the wolf.
I think they removed the wolf version of the pet so that they can use the wolf for something else. The sudden outcry for animal MMs when the wolf was seen gives me a good guess what, though there's a slim chance I'm wrong.
... I hope I'm not, though.

It was rather sad, even though we didn't get to spend much time with Alexis - but she seemd like a sensible and capabale person who was working to make the world a better place.

That's a very good animation for it when it runs.

Quote:Do you mean pre-GR or post-GR?CoX has suffered from a dearth of creative direction for along time.
Also, as Second Measure has said that they've already planned out parts of I29, which would mean they're already thinking about stuff as far ahead as 2014, it seems that they've got a pretty good handle on where they want to go witht he game and what they want to do with it. -
Quote:No there doesn't - the used to be a kind of end at 50, before the Incaranate storyline was added - but now, the meta-story is open-ended, so we're getting a rolling storyline dealing with cosmic threats to Primal Earth and the multiverse, so that once one threat is dealt with, another one will show up.There has to be an end to the story line of the game. Period.
That's one of the really exciting parts of the Incarante storyline - it's being told in episodes, so that we still don't know exactly how the Praetorian chapter will end - but even as we're getting near to the big climax, there are plenty of hints about the next chapter with the Battalion and the Coming Storm, which will also be told over several Issues with a rolling storyline.
The Incarnate content is like a massive version of the SSAs - major storylines delivered in several espisodes, rather than single Issue storylines. -
I think a separate market section for the forums would be a good idea.
And get well soon - or at least before the UStream broadcast

Quote:And how is that linked to Incaranates, when all the 50's Incarnate abilities would have been turned off at that level?I did a Citadel the other night with one 50 and seven others of us who were appropriate level for the TF, and the difference was blatant. He was constantly scooting ahead to take on new spawns while the rest of us were still working on cleaning up the last one, and it got very tiresome very quickly.

The Citadel TF is 25-30, so the 50 would have had access to powers and slots up to 35. - their 36-50 powers and slots would have been turned off, along with all their Incarnate powers. -
It's almost as if we've become more powerful by tapping into some kind of cosmic power source.

This sounds like it could be quite wacky
-
Why is this silliness still going on?
-
Yeah, I got tired of that minimum-team-size-of-8 thing for First Ward and Atlas Park in the last Issue.
-
This change makes teaming for it easier - before, the only way to play it as a co-op run was for a team of Heoes to spawn a and defeat a Winter Lord blue side while a team Villains spawned and defeated a Winter Lord Red Side, so that both sides would spawn the giant present to let them enter the map together.
With fewer players red side, this now means that running the Trial as a co-op run will be the main way it's done. -
-
-
The old method was also extremnely difficult to do as co-op - Heroes and Villains could only get into the map together if they happened to both spawn a gaint present at the same time - now they can simply form a league in a co-op zone.
-
Talking of Trials, the Winter Lord's Realm has been revamped on the Beta server to be a 12-36 player Trial accessed with the LFG system.
