The front and back move up and down as you fly.

What I did to get the badges when they first came out was to use my 2nd build, and just pack it with all the travel and movement powers

That's a great picture - it sets the mood very well.

If your rage calms down enough, and you want to play the SSAs, you can unlock them for $5 each - but if you want to make a major saving, resub sometime in March - that will give you access to all 7 parts, as well as access to the new Dark Astoria content, all for the $15 sub fee

Quote:A player on one of the UStream chats suggested that the new snakeskin clothes the CoT were wearing was connected to the sudden disappearance of the Snakes on Mercy Island^ This. We do NOT need any more shenanigans in the same vein as Dr 'It all makes so much sense!' Brainstorm and his [i]hilarious[/i[...-ly bad 'reasoning' behind Power Proliferation.

On the MoM Trial, Calvin Scott is shown to be mentally disturbed, and is removed from his position as leader of the military side of the Resistance movement.

I'll get 2 carpets - I already have the rocket board

He wants Tyrant's dictatorship destroyed - and as the Heroes of Paragon City are also working towards that goal, he doesn't really have to do anything - one group of his enemies are fighting another group of his enemies, while he gets to twirl his moustache and plot in peace.

Quote:What was the interaction we had earlier? The notion of interaction has rapidly declined over the last 18 months or so. We're funnelled down a tunnel.
Those options come after we've fought them - the game doesn't let you clcik on a boss, talk to him, then choose the option to instantly kill him - it either lets you click on them first, and then activates the fight, or lets you fight them first, and when their HP is almost gone, it makes them collapse and lets you talk to them - that's when you get the options to kill them, because you've already beaten them.Quote:Even when offered "choice" it's generally the option between "Knock him out" or "Break his neck" - both of which are pretty ridiculous - if we've had to fight to get to that stage, and reached the big bad boss who's meant to be a challenge we can suddenly do either/or without breaking a sweat. If we're going to get those kind of choices, then we need two alternate resolutions: We either get to fight some more and then defeat the subject, or the subject manages to escape to thwart our plans another time.
The post-GR stories are more complex and darker than the earlier stories - the feel of the game world has changed a bit, and the meta-story now has more layers to it.Quote:Personally, the thing I've noticed the most is that since Going Rogue was released, the visual environment has become far far better, whilst the stories have become much less engaging. This clearly seems to be a question of priorities - better graphics, because once they are done they are done, and lots of low quality content rather than less, but much better, story-telling. -

Quote:I said "when it's been needed"Dad: Good morning, Golden Girl

Golden Girl: Bite me
Dad: Thanks, I needed that!
You grew up in a Hollywood sitcom, did you?
Innocent until proven guilty - all heroes should know thatQuote:I have a better idea. Why don't YOU make the case that the portrayal of Ms. Liberty is that of a noble, pleasant, co-operative and self-sacrificing superheroine and provide copious citations for it?
Then we can make frivolous non-sequiturs and demand further proof.
Ms. Liberty's portrayal is revolting. I do not care for it. Since you think it is wonderful, make your case.

Quote:I think they might happen in March, especially if that's when I22 goes live - March will be the 7th and final part of "Who Will Die", and it'd tie is well with the I22 title, as they seem to like having multiple meanings for the Issue titlesThey haven't said specifically. All we do know is that everything isn't going to change all at once. The in-game revisions will happen over a period of time.

Quote:I'm in favor of the earlier Trials having reduced rewards for people with level shifts - but only if the alternative method of increased rewards for the harder Trials doesn't work."In the 1-50 game, the rewards from enemies in your level range drop as you become more powerful - on the Trials, that doesn't happen - so far, we've gained 2-3 levels on the Trials, but the content we were doing before we got those levels is still giving the same rewards even when we've gained those levels."
Or, the trials become less difficult content the more you run them, and yet their reward rates don't reduce.
Which contradicts your 'easier incarnate progress requires fewer rewards' stance.
The third option is a new currency to unlock and equip the next slots - that could be added once the Praetoria chapter of the Incarnate storyline is over - with the Battalion as the new Trial enemies, there'd be a suitable opening for them adding new types of IXP, salvage and Threads to go with them. -
-
We already have those in the 1-50 game

The easiest way to deal with 12-24 heroes would be to just make the AVs massive HP mountains - it doesn't require any new mechanics or tech - just take Reichsman's stats and multiply them by 2-3.Quote:No. Actually they added the "gimmicks" because they needed some way to be able to deal with 12-24 heroes. Not because it makes the trial tougher.
They could produce Trials much faster if they weren't trying to give us new and exciting encounters. -
Reducing DFB to 1-10, then adding a 10-20 Trial based around the fires in Steel Canyon or the Skyway City Troll raves could be cool.

You're totally missing the point here
