A major thing would be to have spandex and masks not look like they were painted on - actaully giving them an edge to make it look like they were separate from out bodies would be great.
Another thing would be to have an option for the classic white eyes on the masks, rather than the more realistic eye holes.
Capes, boots and gloves are already pretty well covered in the costume creator. -

Quote:The 5th Column RPers probably moved on to loyalist RPFrom the people I knew personally at the time, the trivilizing you mention was just a part of their feelings. More of their offense came from all the people in the first two years who kept making 5th Column knockoffs as heroes. For them, that was the hardest part to accept, and I was present for a very loud, heated argument when another friend of mine was caught with a Nacht <something> hero.

Quote:18 is nowhere near the cut off point for that tacticNice Strawman.
By the way, 1) Ghost Widow is fully covered from the neck down, and 2) distracting your enemy by your uber-hotness only works if your enemy is a straight male between the ages of 13 and 18. -

It's based on the Trial reward mechanics - a random component at the end of the story - only the DA arcs don't have the bonus potential of the in-Trial badge objectives, or the flood of Empyreans and Astrals, and the IXP on them is quite low, and the Thread drop rate is nowhere near the stream of Threads we get on the Trials.
To get all the slots open and the level shifts, there will be quite a lot of "grinding".
The repeatable missons give a reward of 2 Threads at the end, and about 1% IXP per mission, so for a fresh 50, it'll take some time to get all the stuff they might want. -
The Trial rewards are designed that way - the reward rate is balanced around how often we can get them - the alignment merits and the things they can purchase are balanced around the idea of earning 1 every 2 days. If they became easier to earn, then the prices of the stuff they can purchase would have to be increased to reflect it.

Quote:There are 6 story arcs in DA - at the end of each arc, you get a reward table to choose from - one of the rewards is for 10 Threads, and another option is to choose a random Incarnate component as well.As for DA, we'll just have to wait and see, but number of missions isn't a really good metric.
If the RNG hates you, you could play through the whole DA story and end up with 6 commons - but if it loves you, you could end up with 6 very rares. -

The new Banished Pantheon Soceresses and Tsoo Sorceresses and Ink women also wear more than their male colleagues - and the new Knives of vengeance group are also pretty covered up, so focusing on just one new AV outfit is kinda missing out on the clothing diversity of all the new female models in I22.

The devs said a few weeks ago that a lot of the promotional artwork for the game would still feature Stetsman, as he's the iconic hero of the game.
According to Positron, he's also still going to feature in the tutorial. -

Quote:Yes and no - it's Diabolique when she's using Mot's powers - the transformation happens on an earlier DA story arc, and the Trial is sort of the cap to the whole zone storyline. Why's everyone assuming the lady who'd fit on a Heavy Metal cover is Diabolique? More likely she's an incarnation of Mot. I think that's more likely than Diabolique suddenly becoming twice as tall, losing her translucensy and most of her clothing JUST so she can take control of Mot's new sand-box.

Some of the new arcs have missions where they suggest you might want to bring help - and the mobs are pretty rough, especially with their debuffs - so they appear to be going with the "soloable for some, not all" idea behind things like the Mender Ramiel arc.

By the way, the current rewards for the DA arcs give you a table to pick from at the end of each arc, with an option to choose 10 threads, or a random component roll, as well as super inspirations and reward merits.
EDIT:
The full reward table at the end of each arc is:
Quote:Incarnate Components
By choosing this reward, you will receive one of four choice tables, each containing Incarnate Salvage. There is a chance to receive the Common, Uncommon, Rare or Very Rare Salvage table.Quote:Incarnate Merits
By choosing this reward, you receive one Incarnate Merit, which can be redeemed at vendors in Ouroboros or used to craft Incarnate components. There is a chance to receive two Astral Merits or one Empyrean Merit.Quote:Incarnate Threads
By choosing this reward, you receive ten Incarnate Threads.Quote:4x Reward Merits
By choosing this reward, you will receive four times the standard number of Merit Rewards for this arc.Quote:Super Inspirations
By choosing this reward, you receive two random Super Inspirations. -
