Quote:The rocket launcher again? It's very likely many of you went and jumped on Beta and played through this arc already. It's our fault it was published and we're taking steps to ensure it doesn't happen again.
Quote:For those asking about Penny's new face, we're going to be introducing a new normal mapped Asian female face with the Imperial Dynasty costume set, so be sure to keep an eye out for that to hit the Paragon Market if it interests you. -

The answer to the thread title is "everything"

I sense the presence of the Talons of Moderation in the thread title

Nothing in the lore suggests that the Carnies are hookers.
-
Story-wise, the new tutorial ties in with the rest of the game way better than the old Outbreak one.

You're welcome.
And if you're not a VIP, you could always sign up for a month and then use the beta to test out Staff Fighting -
-
Staff Fighting will be released sometime after I22, but before I23.

Quote:It's not skimpy - the only exposed skin is her face and stomachPenelope... why'd you pick out such a skimpy hero costume? And worn to Statesman's funeral no less. Where's the little girl I saved way back when in Faultline? Your going to give King Clockwork brain seizures.

Now that we've seen the new Penny Yin model, we also need seams on the tights like she has - either on the front, back or sides of the arms and legs, and down the sides of the torso.

Quote:It's using the new normal mapping from the Steampuink pack, but it seems to have been refined a bit since then.I love this new look for Penelope Yin. I think the art team did an amazing job, especially with her face.
Other great details are the fully 3D look for all the straps, buckles and edges, the seams on the legs and cups, the slight creasing around the neck, and the subtle occulsion around parts like the leg armor.
Quote:Wondering if this means the Penelope contact in Faultline will change, or if this is just for Praetorian Penelope, or if the Faultline arc is just going to be one of those in-game continuity things (you run the arc at x level, and by the time you get around to 50, Penelope has grown into this new character much the way your own character has grown in power and stature.) -
In Issue 23 later this year, all the Statesman content that needs changing will be changed in some way.
-
To me, the darker parts with the straps and plates say "Clockwork", and the red bits say "Carnie".

Quote:She could also have been trained a bit by the Clockwork King.As a random note: why does her description claim 'no one knows who trained her' it was mentioned she was being trained by Sister Psyche and Aurora in the LGTF if I recall. Though given her costume, maybe some people are right and she's starting to take after her mother.

As Beast Mastery uses lions and hawks as some of the pets, I think that it'd be a reasonable guess to say that those could be turned into travel powers in the future - and vanity pets.

Quote:That also brings up a weird thing with the levelling up = time progrressing stuff - this leaked arc caps at 40, so it'll probably be 30-40, which means that Penny ages several years in the 5 levels between the end of Fautline and this new arcEighteen? There's no way that Faultline Penelope looks or acts eighteen. I always figured her for about fourteen.
Unless they're planning to rewrite/rebuild Faultline. -
Quote:It's already been confirmed that it's PositronShould be ms liberty imo. But if I know the ego of our current dev it will be positron. Just like it was jack that adopted states. I challenge thee to make it someone other than positron.
He and Sister Psyche are the 2 most senior members after Statesman, but she's been out of action since SSA 1.4, and with Darrin Wade on the loose, they mightn't want to wait around for her to recover before they choose a new leader. -
