  1. Magic doesn't appear to exist for some species, like the Kheldians or Shivans, so their Wells would be totally non-magical.

You don't need to sign up - just carry on being a normal guy and you'll eventually get a beat down from a girl

Apparently, the Battalion were originally attached to the Invention system, and were not only going to be too powerful to solo, but would also need the team figting them to have Inventions - so it looks like they've just attached them to the Incarnate system instead

The is no denying that the movie was a flop in terms of revenue...no doubt.
I'd read the write down is around $200 million - plus, for the kind of corp that Disney are, it was way more than just a movie - it was meant to be the launch of a new franchise, with massive amounts of merchandising, new rides and attractions at Disneyworld, and so on - it was a key part of their strategy for the next few years, which is now trashed by its failure.

He is - but in the CoHverse, magic and science are combined quite a lot

Yes and no - Wells are created from every member of a species, so there will be some magic in our Well because some humans are magical.
  15. Those were the only 2 choices available on the reward table - so either they haven't finalized the exact reward table, or they want to keep new Hybrid-related salvage a secret for now.
  16. They might have upped their marketing after the John Carter catastrophe - Disney now has a lot more riding on this movie.

  18. The majority of the magic themed stories are still linked to the CoT too, as they're still really the only major magical enemy group.

He's a grandstander - an even bigger one than Recluse - the style of his victory seems to be almost as important to him as the actual victory - his "you may now applaud my audacity" line after he's revealed his Rikti war plot is a perfect insight into his mentality, and fits right in with using steam based tech in the modern world, and the general complexity of his plots - he goes out of his way to prove his genius to the world by always choosing the hardest option.

It pretty much has to be - Shadowhunter's known to pre-GR players, but Pendragon is totally new, so the pair of them showing up for Tyrant's last stand with zero introduction needs some context from earlier content - and we already know that Shadowhunter's confirmed as appearing in Night Ward.
The reference to Black Knights guarding Night Ward and Pendragon's look and origin also suggests he'll appear in the new zone too, which would provide the context for his appearance on the Tyrant Trial.
All the Trials so far have been built on earlier content - they're epic finales for the loyalist characters we meet at lower levels, and it's totally logical for the Tyrant Trial to follow the same pattern - Night Ward will introduce us to Shadowhunter, Black Swan and Pendragon, and then we'll meet them again in the Tyrant Trial, and know why they're there.

It wouldn't be an actual nuke. If you'll remember, in Praetoria, McArthur dropped a LOT of nukes post WWII, and stopping those is one of the reasons Cole came to power to begin with.
But it's given a very similar look and effect to a nuclear bomb - that's part of the irony - everything comes full circle - the nightmare of the loyalist dictatorship began with nuclear destruction, and it ends with something very similar.
  24. Whatever it is, it won't be on the scale of Tyrant's Tantrum of Tartarus power
