Daemondand does have a point, however. Watching CoX PvP doesn't feel as pulse pounding or exciting as actually participating in it, and it does look rather bland from any angle (considering I have seen a number of PvP videos).

Not to mention, it seems people can't help but use the same songs for their PvP videos over and over, such as Scatman? which doesn't help the video since the pacing of the action doesn't even match the pacing of the song.

Last I checked, the money the company recieves from billing my account each month is used to pay their developers to make new issues. So the whole "we never pay for expansions" isn't really true.

I've searched a tiny bit for different editing programs. I just wanted to stick with Movie Maker, because i've grown used to it's controls.

I don't have vista, nor do I want it. Mircosoft made updates for the XP edition of WMM, and every time I try to download the update from the microsoft website, they tell me I need windows vista. But all i want is the update for Windows Xp

The sound didn't work for me but others have posted CoH videos with sound so it could be a Vista or 64-bit thing. End result is this little demo recording of some physics fun with my Grav/Storm. I suggest turning off the sound.

Max resolution appears to be 1024x768 but they let you go for up to 10 minutes.

Edit: that's the recording resolution. When you upload it, they dumb it down to 480xWhatever.

I've been using a Frap-esque program called Taksi for quite some time. And it always made my computer lag like crazy, but after I tried this everything runs much smoothly.

But im still stuck with stupid windows movie maker for editing. And I can't ever get the update for it unless I get vista.

Not quite sure about the quoted part. Not everyone dislikes PVP solely because of CoX's PVP shortcomings but more of personal preference or bias against the playstyle.

Adding PVE usable rewards that can only be acquired by actual PVP matches might garner similar complaints that we get now with the current PVE usable rewards, even though getting those only require entering the zone and not fighting anyone. Either that or we'll see more of what you call "cheating" by taking falls just for the rewards.

PVP flagging would solve the complaints for the current rewards in those zones, but your merit system may create new ones.

Of course i can only be certain of my own actions and even with your suggestions, i'm anticipating i would use the PVP mode off flag to get the rewards i currently avoid and think about dual-boxing cheats for the merit rewards.

Repel ball is usually a bunch of lowbie bubblers with repel. Then you drop a master mind pet in there as the ball and the goal is to bounce the pet through the goal posts. Usually the fields are done on test back when you could get the 35 million.

I don't use fraps. I downloaded Taksi Desktop Recorder, the video comes back a little "iffy" compared to Fraps, but it's free. The playback gets better if you have a better machine to run it with.
