  1. actually alot of bugs have been addressed in this thread post-i16 and pre-i16 as well, I've just been too lazy to change the title.
    That and we have a couple rednames constantly checking the thread for new information
  2. In kings row, the Pocket D truck, theres doors nearby. If you click on them, they will behave much the same way Trick or treating does with mobs if the mobs pop up in a different door down the way, these doors behave like the ones on the truck taking you to pocket D as well.

    Actually I've been getting pretty much a 50-50 when it comes to salvage though I would like to see more Arcane salvage than tech.
  4. New one, got a blind invite on my level 3 warshade. I saw the guy was in trouble so I joined the team, next i get the "Exemplar or Die" message so I let the time tick as far as 1 second so I can assist this guy at my full power for the level. When it hits 1 second I hit accept... wait a minute, I'm still level 2.... but he was level 1... and... and... why am I level 2? o.O
    (Ok that isn't the major part of the bug yet.)
    Ok, so I figure I'll ditch the blind inviter, hes alive and currently I'm just wanting to solo so I tp out. He leaves the team and now.... 30 kills later what do I have to show for it? 67 influence and 0 xp. and I'm fighting whites/yellows/oranges/reds.... and 0 xp... (and no, I was getting xp BEFORE I teamed up with this guy so no my options are fine.) So yeah, SSK Bug... Big one. I'm gonna probally have to relogin to fix it.

    And I can't stand warshades, they feel too much like a clone of the PB's just with different inherent powers.

    As for whoever neg repped me with "Do not start the flamewar back up" I don't see a flame war here, I see a rather decent debate and do you even see my rep? your worthless neg rep point just made me laugh. (granted theres a couple troll post and flames but the information I gave on being a low level PB/WS is pretty solid. DO NOT DO SEWER TEAMS PEOPLE! unless you like to faceplant alot because of some Shadow Cyst)

    yeh, I actually went pretty deep into the presence pool. lol. the build is in the tanker section if yah wanna have a peek

    You should try it out first, go to Oro, start a mish there and then attempt to use a costume, they will all be greyed out.

    I guess my main problem with the Halloween Event 2009 is the door mixup when two doors near each other are both engaged by ToTers. The second group (I'll refer to them as groups, even though it might be a solo player) coming to a door next to an already engaged first group and door will spawn their door critters at the first group's door. This happened without fail in PI (not sure about the problem in other zones, I haven't ToT'ed in other zones yet this year) and seems to be a prime opportunity for griefing. If you wanna grief someone, just head to the next door down from a soloer who's already engaged at a door (it's not so much griefing as helping their exp when done to a group) and click the door. Your critters will spawn at their door. Not sure why this happens, but it's a consistent problem in PI, at least.

    Other than that, this year's Halloween Event has been a blast!

    (On another note, I'm not seeing the lack of Jack this year, as some have said. My fav zone for Eo and Jack is Brickstown, and yesterday I led a team through 10 or so GM spawnings and Jack appeared 3 times. It actually seemed better than last year's event when you could easily go through 15 Eo's before seeing Jack.)

    4) pick a banner to have the ENTIRE ZONE target, and destroy it*
    5) continue to destroy each of the other banners one at a time in the same fashion*
    6) when all banners are down, locate the GM and kill it
    7) claim your reward

    *Not required to have the entire zone coordinated if it is full. Besides Peregrine, I have yet to see that happen, so the zone has to focus on one banner at a time to have enough firepower to take down all 4 in the time allotted.

    All that said, why is there still confusion? The same coordination for this event is needed in a Rikti raid, so why are so many people lost? I'm sorry, but if you read the information provided and possibly read the forums or (heaven forbid) ask someone nicely, I feel the directions are simple. But get just two people giving out conflicting commands in the zone, and it can cause your team to miss out on the badges; tonight I've tried 3 times with full teams, and haven't gotten a single badge yet. Yet when the event was on the test server, a zone with just 2 teams could work together and complete it--getting all 6 badges in one fell swoop AND with time to spare!

    I guess I just have a beef with lazy and/or ignorant people.

    Thank you, devs, for such a great event. I'm sorry there are individuals too impatient to figure it out, but I suppose that's to be expected. And again, sorry for the rant, but I felt it needed to be expressed.

    So... anyone else run into this problem, or am I just too irritable?
    and No, on Freedom I have not run into this problem at all Blueside. The zone event after the banners come up lasts for about 20 minutes tops... sometimes less. Everybody is on a banner out of nowhere then everybody just zips off to beat down the aspect in like less than a minute.

    I originally 6-slotted it to test a theory if the shields really offer any protection... Unfortunately the answer is pretty much no. And still, PB's should not travel in the sewers at all. for some reason Shadow Cysts like to pop up when you least expect them and wipe out the entire team in one go leaving you to blame...
  10. It's me ding-donging, but I'm moving out of LoS so my minions can wipe them out like a good merc/pain MM should. lol. I have 2 attacks personally. One that came with jump and the other is burst. Thats all. The rest is all heals.

    New bug, Halloween costumes. In Ouroboros, I was added to a badge team, Me and another guy in our SG coalition. checked my powers to see how many I lost. well, I lost the usual, no surprise there... oh wait... Why the heck are the halloween costumes greyed out?
    I attempted all 52 costumes, all grey. I aquired them all at level 50. So looks like theres a level set to these costumes to the level you got them at. This seems a bit wrong to me.

    Had star passed to me so I'm level 50. Costumes are still greyed out in Ouroboros.
    Mission transporter does not work either when temporary powers are suspended in Ouroboros. even though Mission Transporter is not noted like a temporary power (i.e. no [Temporary Powers. ] prefix)
  11. New issue, on my merc/pain MM on freedom, the Trick mob AI seems to be rather single-minded. Normally mobs go after whoever is beating on them the hardest. Nope. sorry I just stand there while my minions do all the dirty work and yet every mob that pops out of those doors has tunnel vision going directly for me not caring about the 6 other guys with guns blazing. Any other mob thats not a ToT mob usually goes for the minions first unless I aggroed them first. Even then however they switch target to one of my minions instead of me but not ToT mobs, oh no. They are dead-set on removing my head from my shoulders. I could put my minions right on the door and put them on agressive, click the door and run a good 20 meters away.

    The ToT mobs will push through my minions (even though they are damaging them like crazy) and head straight for me. This seems like a huge bug with the mob AI.
    Just tested 3 times, I went as far as I could while the door was still opening and with 6 minions all firing, the mob was chasing ME down the street.

  13. Personally I would love to see a proper berserker.

    second, the Brutes fury bar... yeah, compare that to a dominators and you will see just how sad fury really is.
    (I went out for a 3 minute smoke break and my dominator still had half thier domination bar... did the same with my brute and watched it, 30 seconds later, no fury.)
    So a true Berserker (which is what I belive brutes were meant to be) would be freakin awesome.
  14. Honestly, I have about 3 kelds and I have to say, Do NOT do sewer teams when your a low level, Do NOT solo and most of all.

    They really need to fix the resistance to Quantums especially after you get the quantum energy shield. I see no diffrence in having it up or having it off, I still get clobbered by one shot. (and before someone asks It's 6 slotted with up-to-date IO's)

    Ummm, as long as I've played, this was never like this, (The rooting in mid-air) hence not a bug. its interruptible so if you move while charging then it will end before firing, if your already firing it can be useful for hiding around corners and such as you finish your shots because technically the power has already triggered and fired off.

    On another note, the Coralax halloween costume, when activated and you fly, still-hover animates properly (not moving) strafing from left to right or right to left animates properly. When moving forward you run through mid-air instead of playing the flying animation.
    Moving backwards has the same effect however its jerky and the run animation never completes. As a bonus if you fly right up against the ground you can hear the footsteps sound but it stops the second you move away from the ground in flight.

  17. Speaking of Jack-in-Irons, I got a gripe about it. Paragon Wiki says theres a 10% chance that Jack will spawn instead of Eochai... Welp, After killing ole' pumpkin head THIRTY times... (do the math on that percentage) and still no Jack, I've given up for tonight.

    Oh, and good Ole pumpkin head Hax!



    He's flying.... so Ground-based PBAoE's aren't hitting him.
  18. 10% my eye, after 25 Eochai kills, jack has still not shown up. and I'm in PI2 so the zone is def over the level 20 limit...

    28 so far, no jack in sight
    30... I give up for tonight, if your gonna extend it a bit, try to up the percentage jack comes out cause this is horrible!

    The guy I was arguing with was swearing up and down it was the Croatoa's Jack In Irons, just the normal run-of-the-mill GM that gave him the badge for the halloween event...

Honestly I love this, however on Freedom there has been zero reports of Jack-in-Irons showing up at any given time (while I'm online, for the past two days thats been from 6am to 6pm Pacific Standard Time) and with Eochai, the Unseelie spirits don't show up when Eochai does half the time (Haven't seen Jack-in-Irons at all so I don't know about him).

    Anyway, its off to bed for me and I'll be back tomorrow hoping I find Jack roaming around so I can stomp a mudhole in em.

    Yeah it does seem the current AI programming just has the word "RUN" in it lately, especially for timed ones (like my bank mayhem mish where i needed to kill the hero.) I killed the hero but one of the people who followed ran away and outside the building never to be seen again as the timer ticked down causing me to fail.

    the first one I used a pallet knife brush with a light canvas texture. it ended up losing alot of definition so I added some light to bring out the textures of the image.

    as for the angel bit, yeah my bad. thats what happens when yer doped up on nyquil. XD
