  1. Jemma slid her back down the lockers until she was on the floor. She raised both of her knees close to her chest, and didn't raise her head once.

She gave the people around her a faint 'Thanks'.

She was drowned in guilt, this happened because of her. Her attitude had landed Sword and early death, and her husband an overload. The Countess always told her not to lose control.

Minutes went past as Jemma dragged Adam's lifeless body towards hers. She propped his back against the wall, and allowed him to rest his head on her shoulder.

"I'm so sorry...” After this Jemma quickly broke down, she hated herself right now. She was human, she didn't have any control over the Nether and she even caused two deaths.

Through all the chaos, Jemma suddenly smiled, tears still flooding her face.

"We're finally all together." She stopped, taking a breath, still smiling as though she had won the lottery.

"I had only foreseen my death... I didn't realise how much good would come of it."

She slowly stood up, shaking she made her way towards Alex, wrapping her arms around her.

"Alex, I knew I taught you well." She let out a quick giggle; her tears were slowly drying up.

"I love you, so much. Thank you."

Jemma kept the embrace for another few minutes, also thanking Alex's soon to be husband, before turning her gaze to Adam.

    ~

    Meanwhile…

As Bathory was dealing with the current situation, a cold, emotionless, wind-like whisper went through her head. It was her Templar.

“I want Darkheart to take over until I return. I promise I will regain control of my powers again.”

At the exact same time the voice whispered to Bathory, Ghost was also speaking to Darkheart.

“Don’t make the same mistake as me… With this title, comes great responsibility.”
  2. Ghost had a smile on her face. She stood completely still for a few moments.

    "Goodbye Lucard."

Ghost completely disappeared, in the blink of an eye.

It turns out the map she was studying was actually a letter. It was addressed to Elizabeth Bathory. It read:

    Dear Bathory,
I have returned to my own dimension. The Court died to me a long time ago; we lost some of the best creatures that ever roamed the earth. We have become nothing more than thugs.
Do you remember when Alex and I trashed your room? We did it because you deserved it. You were letting the Court fall apart. I helped you build this place up from the beginning, we worked hard to create this safe-haven, and look what it’s turned into.

Countess I leave you for now, as my powers are too instable, I am worried I might lash out on the Court members again. I know you will understand.
All of my items are completely magically sealed; I do not expect anything to be touched in my absence. I will be watching like always Bathory…

    ~No Queen rules forever.

    -Dark Templar, Ghost of Death.

Despite the fact that Ghost had completely disappeared, a cold-wind like whisper flooded through Lucard's head.

"I will be watching you too..."
  3. Ghost didn't bother to look at Lucard, she was far too busy examining a large map, floating against an empty wall.

"Lucard... You don't have permission to be in my personal-quarters." She was still eyeing the map.

"You question my power? My abilities? Would you like to learn first hand at exactly what I am capable of?" Finally she spun on her heels, marching towards Lucard.

"Vampires... I miss the older generation... Hmm, they knew respect, moral. They did not behave as you have done. Yet... Such a weak being, a twist of the head, snap of the fangs, and your... Powerless?" Ghost was not threatening Lucard, more like teasing him. But she held a stern note to each word.

"I don't work for the Countess to be insulted by the likes of you, Lucard. This is your final warning. OH! And next time... Knock you loathsome cur."

At a moments notice, Ghost had used one of her signature abilities. Similar to most Ghost's she was able to move objects, however she choose not to use this ability as she claimed in made her as 'barbaric as the rest of these creatures'. But she couldn't resist after Lucard's questioning.

Ghost was floating before Lucard, as every object in her room suddenly lifted at the same time. She was tempted to throw the entire room into the corridor after Lucard, but she opted to simply throwing a few chairs, a desk and a small table.

After the objects began to float, Lucard slowly raised with them, and was instantly shot through the wall, next to her door, along with the few objects she found necessary to smash around him.

The Countess had warned her not to lose control of her powers on many occasions, and she tried her best to follow the Countess’ commands, but on this occasion she felt it necessary to prove her worth.

Every item in the room quickly dropped as she regained control of herself. The nose was defiantly going to attract a lot of attention as Ghost had all kinds of heavy items in her room, such as the piano. But she glared out the hole she made in her wall using Lucard, then quickly turned back to her map.
  4. Ghost finally made it back to the entrance hall - oozing through each wall in her way.

"Fools! The whole lot of you!" She wailed as she noticed the black box.

She quickly marched up the stairs and into the street to evaluate the damage. She was shocked; she also noticed a small group of people staring at the building.

"Move along!" She shouted, and was prepared to move them herself if she had to.

    Ghost quickly returned to Bathory.

"You need to warn this -Court- about just how powerful these people are Bathory! Once the death toll starts rising, do you think their loyalties will remain?" She was furious, but she seemed to be the only one taking any action.

Ghost could be seen at the gargoyles, seemingly repairing them, with some spells and runes.

By the time Ghost returned she turned to Bathory for a short moment.

“If you need me, I will be drawing up a battle-plan in my room. And on another note, the first creature to taunt me, gets their own session in the torture chamber, courtesy of me.” While Ghost pasted the Countess, she almost smirked.
  5. Jemma watched Adam with awe. It had been so long since she had seen him in battle. But what a mistake it was, as Ghost quickly delivered a stern kick to the side of Jemma's head, knocking her onto her back.

Ghost stood above Jemma, using the heel of her boot to pin Jemma down by her neck, almost piercing her flash, Jemma let out a roar.

When Adam and Jemma fell into battle together, they were a deadly combination, as Jemma would synchronise with Adam, using his own power to increase her own.

As Ghost's heel was about to find its way through Jemma's neck Jemma had lifted a hand, it was aimed towards Adam. She was siphoning his energy to protect herself. And as Ghost dropped her heel onto Jemma's neck, she was quickly blown back, and seems to float through a wall.

Jemma ran towards Adam, screaming, “I have no control over the Nether. I’m pretty useless right now.”
  6. The Ghost of Death stepped forward, in front of Jemma and spoke directly to the Countess.

"I told you, she will only make me weak, either you kill her now or I will." - The Ghost of Death was simply as heartless as always, she took pity on the human that had been torn from her existance.

Jemma looked at the Countess, before running off to her room, getting dressed as quickly as she could, however by the time she got there the Ghost was waiting as Jemma was ready to leave her room.

"Stay here... You'll never change, -you- took the Oath, not me." Jemma said, with a glint of her old personality beginning to shine through.

"You think I'll let you get away?" The Ghost quickly replied.

"If Adam is here, he won't let you touch me, besides, now your not part of me, I know how to get rid of you." Jemma said with a familiar evil smirk.

Before Jemma could leave, the Ghost created a dark-hole beneath her, causing Jemma to fall through the ground.

They both landed in the entrance hall.

"I'll wait until he gets in, then I'll kill you." The Ghost spoke exactly how she always did, calm, emotionless and cruel.
  7. Jemma slowly picked herself up, her body covered in specks of blood. When she finally stood up, she thought to herself how long it had been since she used her magic as a human, and how that ended up killing her in the first place…

The only feature Jemma had on her body that didn’t look broken was her beautiful green eyes. The looked much duller than normal, but they maintained a small expression of hope. However she very much doubted anyone that could have seen her would have recognised her eyes; ever since she died, her eyes had been completely white, without pupils.

It had only taken another few moments before Jemma had created a ‘gun’ shape with her right hand. She had aimed her index finger directly at the Longbow agent. She knew how things worked in the Court; she was smarter than to disobey the very women she has been protecting for the last four years.

After giving the Longbow agent a ‘sorry’ look, from her index finger a funnel of dark energy grew. At first a few wisps of energy touched the Longbow agent. Jemma knew she was weak, but she also knew the Countess knew how quickly Jemma could recover.

After a few moments the Longbows body began to whither away to nothing more than a skeleton, as the once wisps turned to long flowing tendrils, as the agent slowly died, his pleas and begs broke her heart, she fought hard to hold back the tears that were beginning to show in the corners of her eyes.

Jemma slowly turned to the Countess, she looked a little more stable now, she remained silent, and however for a split second a haze of purple gas appeared around her. However it disappeared as quickly as it appeared, looking almost as if it had moved away from her. She knew the Countess would understand this was electroplasm.

    “Countess… This won’t hurt…”

Jemma created another funnel between herself and the Countess, and true to her word, it did not hurt her. She was merely leeching some energy from the Countess, Jemma knew through all The Countess had done to her, she wouldn’t condemn her of a quick recovery, if she was to remain loyal.

By the time she closed the funnel, Jemma kneeled to the Countess, on one knee, she remembered how the Countess use to like it when she would do this. However as Jemma had now recovered some of her power, she was more than aware of other presences within the room, and she was ready to begin restoring the fear and hatred she spend so long instilling within the other members of the Court.

Jemma stood emotionless for a few moments, before raising her voice loud enough for everyone in the room to hear her.

“Bathory, wrong potion…” Jemma looked at her, completely mortified by what she said, and what the Countess had done.

Jemma turned her head to her right, as the purple electroplasm reappeared, this time it was not surrounding Jemma’s body, it was now standing side by side with her, and after a few moments a ghostly figure appeared.

Jemma was so shocked she didn’t react, however the Ghost quickly through a torrent towards her, knocking her fragile human off her feet.

    Ghost was back…

“Dispose of the body, I’m sure you’ve tainted my image enough, Bathory.” The Ghost sneered at Bathory, while looking disgusted at Jemma as she slowly picked herself up.

The flames that lit the room began to flicker, as the Ghost hovered off the ground, eyeing up Jemma’s expression of shock and fear.

Jemma didn’t even get a chance to pick herself off the ground before screaming, at the top of her lungs “ADAM!”

The Ghost peered up from Jemma for a moment, looking slightly worried.
  8. Jemma had walked the earth for many years, between time traveling she had clocked up at least a few thousand years. And it had been so long since she was a physical entity within the world. She understood pain, that’s why she was always good at her 'job'. But it had been so long since she had felt it.

Jemma wanted to die; she was a shadow of her former self.

As each strike of the whip caused her to wail in agony, she eventually managed to mutter a sentence between her lashings.

"I took the Oath... I was restoring the Court..."

Jemma looked pathetic, she had no authority, no grace or self-control. As painful as the lashes were to her weak body, she knew there was something even worse.

After Adam and Jemma were married, she created a mind-link between then. Jemma had never used it before, but this was her last chance.

As Bathory continued to furiously lash at her body, blood spilling from her torso across the walls, Jemma spat some blood onto the Countess.

"You think you can get away with this?" She continued to wail as the whip slowly grazed deep into her flesh.

She had finally met her pain threshold. She knew she wouldn't last much longer, she had foreseen this - but she promised herself she wouldn't use her mind link... As much as it would torture Adam, it might help her.

Jemma continued to twitch and jerk in pain in her chains; she finally broke, awakening the mind-link.

Within a split second, she temporarily projected her thoughts, feelings and pain to Adam - while this happened; she had never felt so disappointed with herself.

Determined not to go down easily, she taunted the Countess.
    "Is that-... All...?"

She thought to herself how pathetic she had become. Bathory had taken everything she spent her life creating away from her. She thought 'Bathory might as well just kill me now' - forgetting the mind-link.
  9. 13th August 2010 - Throne Room, Castle Bathory

Jemma began to materialize through the main wall, facing the Throne, and the Countess; she began to slowly walk forward. She never managed to effectively walk on the floor’s level, while she was phased.

Jemma did not break breath to the Countess, in fact the distance between them seemed to talk Jemma a lifetime to cover.

“Countess, you have a face on you like thunder.” if Jemma could show emotion, she would clearly be very cocky right now.

Jemma was wearing her signature ‘commander’ styled clothes, with her hands behind her back, standing no further than a breath away from the Countess.

“I will hurt everything you love. I will slowly rip this Court apart. You will be left with nothing.” Jemma appeared to think carefully about what she said next.

“You betrayed me. You will pay for your mistake. You will be left with nothing, no resources, no ‘friends’ and no henchmen. Do not put it past me Bathory, I will see to it that this happens.”

Jemma turned her back to the Countess, she wasn’t prepared to listen to anything she had to say. As she walked away, towards the wall she entered, she turned around to face the Countess, the distance caused Jemma to shout.

    “It all ends soon…”

Jemma’s eyes ran up and down the Countess’ shocked expression.

“Speechless… I suppose you have nothing to say?”
  10. 12th August 2010 - Somewhere off the east shore of Japan

A ghostly figure began to ooze and materialise off the ever-changing surface of the water.

Jemma appeared, and looked around; finding no sign of anything, just water. As she floated slightly above the water, her hands both began to glow, one with a bright white orb, and the other, with a negative-black orb. She quickly formed the outlines of the large circular portal, by almost painting it, using the trails of the orbs.

After a few moments the trails connected with each other, one black, and one white, as a portal began to open, and grow.

Jemma poked her head through the portal for a moment, noticing Tower simply floating around in a dark-motionless dimension.

“Tower, one clue. Your near Japan.” As Jemma said this, a torrent of energies pushed Tower from the portal.

As Tower was pushed from the portal, it instantly closed over, and disappeared. The portal itself wasn’t far above the water, but with the Towers solid build and materials, he caused a large splash as he fell into the water. As Tower fell into the water, Jemma screamed, hoping he would hear her.

    “Give them hell!”

With that said, Jemma took a moment to think about what she would do next. Surely the Countess would find out sooner of later. Her betrayal would come at a price, but she was ready to finally join her family.

As she watched the Towers dark figure slowly disappear as he dropped further and further into the clear ocean, she spoke to herself, or perhaps her abnormally shadow, which of course many would know as ‘Storm’.

Jemma closed her eyes, using her telepathy to communicate with the Countess.

”How does it feel to lose something? Hmm… Bathory, my revenge has just begun…”

Jemma began to fly towards the sky, somewhere along the way dissapearing.

    Moth Cathedral

Ghost quickly sank into the fog-covered road, reappearing just in front of Tower.

    "Disengage target."

Her hands moved slightly, as a group of Tenebrous Tentacles wrapped around the Tower's hands, and legs, trying to stall him.

"Tower... ARE YOU LISTENING!? Bathory took my daughter, MY DAUGHTER, and tortured her. She betrayed me! A Dark Templar, and friend... She does not care for us; she only cares for herself... In fact, she sent you here to die, Tower... Think. Your in the middle of nowhere, with no backup, its only a matter of time before the heroes show up and outnumber you..."

Jemma sighed, pacing around the Tower.

"She doesn’t care about anyone apart from herself, and if she can betray someone like me... Its only a matter of time before she can betray you."

Ghost’s hands began to glow brighter and brighter, one completely white, the other, a negative shade of black.

“If you see here again, tell her I’ll be visiting shortly…”

With that, Jemma used the orbs from her hands to almost ‘paint’ a large circle in front of her. And after a few moments the black and white trails from the orbs began to grow brighter, and increasing in size, until the growing portal out-sized Jemma.

Jemma suddenly appeared behind Tower, the portal began to warp slightly.

    “Give her hell…”

Jemma raised her right foot to the Tower’s back, and as her heel came into contact with his metal back, a large dark torrent pushed the tall metal Tower forward, as he broke from the tentacles.

After Tower moved through the portal it quickly closed.

“Pious, I have a feeling I shall be seeing you soon.”

Jemma eyed up the Cathedral for a moment.
  12. Ghost_of_Death

    Moth Cathedral

Jemma didn't respond to Pious, she was far to deep in through, creating a battle plan. She knew she wanted to 'kidnap' Tower, but it would very difficult for her to move him...

After a few moments, white flames burst from her eyes, something that hasn't been seen in a while. She soon took flight, hovering in one place, arcane ruins began to circle her body, each ruin had a different colour. Eventually they all touch her body, and her electroplasm turned from a purple shade into a blood-red colour. Her friends and family would understand that she had just absorbed these ruins to temporarily increase her power.

"Pious, don't touch him. I shall deal with this."

Jemma threw her hood up and closed her eyes for a moment.

    "Found him."

She turned her back to the Cathedral, and peered through the fog, there couldn't be much distance between them.

"Pious, unless your friendly with the Netherworld, do not stand anywhere near my portals..."

Each of Jemma's hands lit up a fluxing shade of negative-black, and bright white, she made a few rather oriental gestures with her hands as a shadow appeared underneath herself, but it was clear to see, this was not her shadow.

    "Bathory will learn..."

Jemma's cold, emotionless gaze turned to Pious for a moment.

"...Never to mess with my family..."

With that said, Jemma turned her gaze down the road again, both arms straight out, each hand still glowing.

    Moth Cathedral

Jemma’s gaze inspected the priest for a moment, then the surroundings.

“I have been sent here by the Countess, I believe she wanted to speak to you… I also believe that she wanted your head.”

Jemma sighed; her eyes flashed red for a moment, as a wicked expression crossed her face.

“Impervium Tower? On his way here, hmm?”

It was clear to see she had tapped into Pious’ mind, or perhaps she had foreseen this event.

“If the Countess wishes to speak to you, I shall take you to her. However, I do not intend to leave before I have seen Impervium Tower.”

Her emotionless face suddenly lit up, a wicked feeling came over her.

The Countess betrayed me, captured Alex… It is my turn to seek revenge, and with the disappearance of Impervium Tower she would finally understand what it feels like to lose to the hands of a ‘friend’.

“Yes, we shall not leave until I have ‘seen’ him. And please, rid your mind of preconceptions, you would be unwise to judge me like the other mindless spirits that roam these parts.”

Jemma’s gaze finally locked onto Pious.
  14. Ghost_of_Death

    Moth Cathedral

    Moth Cathedral

Jemma remerged in a small alley close to the Cathedral; she thought to herself she would be right at home here. Considering that the Catholic Church is almost as corrupt as her morals.

Her body once again morphed, her outfit became white, and more formal as though she was actually considering hanging around this building. Just before the clothes got a chance to materialise, well, it was to be expected…

A black leather jacket finally wrapped itself around her, underneath; a black leotard covering most of her chest, and carrying into a set of badly ripped fishnets, with those signature heels. She was prepared to stick out? Typical…

Jemma soon emerged onto an empty road leading to the Cathedral, a cigarette in hand, and a black pair of vintage shades on. She muttered to herself as she walked the empty road: “I will make my arrows drunk with blood, and my sword will devour flesh.”

Why exactly was she not a fan of the bible with quotes like that?

She now stood before the Cathedral, not use to her surroundings, she let out a signal torrent of negative energies, pushing the light fog away, creating a dark cloud around herself, just the way she liked it.

She took a final drag of her cigarette, and then dropped it; her carelessly cold unemotional gaze inspected the Cathedral.

“Pious Hunter? The Priest? Come forward please…”
  15. Jemma gave a stern nod, understanding her task, and just exactly what it would require of her.

I will keep a track of Adam and Alex and if I find out they have been attacked or attack our kind - I will settle it. In the meantime, its time to find the Pious Hunter... Where to start? Hmm.

Jemma's face looked wicked with excitment.

"Well Countess, you know my views on religion... I'll get him!"

Jemma's appearance morphed, her skin changing from a clear tan, to a sickly pale white. Her hair, attached up, her clothes, blood red. A large commander-like jacket grew around her slim frame, with her gothic attire, and signature heels.

"We must restore this Court. Within the next few days, I will let you know if I plan to accept my death, or if I must continue to fight for the rights of creatures like... Us..."
  16. At the sound of Bathory, Jemma suddenly regained control of her powers, allowing her purple gaseous electroplasm to be seen once more.

"Bathory, I have foreseen... My end... I am letting you know two things, I am not going to track the target, I have to many preparations to make before I pass... And I want you to contact me through telepathy in the event of ANY trouble, I'm in a foul mood, I'm prepared to kill..."

As Jemma regained composure, she approached 'Liz, keeping her tone low.

"I am willing to take down as many Night Hunters as I can... I've already seen who will destroy me. I've also reason to believe there is still a quarrel between Adam, Alex and our creatures. I plan to end this, once and for all..."

Jemma brushed her hair back into a reasonable shape inspecting the room with her shining white eyes, she paced for a moment.

"The creatures around here still quiz my loyalties... With good reason, I might add. When the one person you could trust betrays you, well... It's sickening really. Anyway. As I said, contact me if you need anything, I have a family to protect..."

Jemma remained still for a moment, a cold-careless gaze was locked at 'Liz
  17. Castle Bathory

A ghostly figure stormed through the Castle, sinking through each wall that was in her way, she eventually entered the Throne Room.

The long, white, layered hair on the ghostly women began to rise, almost as though gravity was not applied to her. Pitch-black tendrils began to emit from her, as her crystal white eyes scanned the room. She simply called out 'Bathory!'

As the Ghost of Death waited for Bathory, the tendrils emitting from her began to suffocate her electroplasm, causing her to become less visible.
  18. A GHOST'S BLOOD LUST?!

Arachnos officials have just reported that the villain, nicknamed the Ghost of Death, has recently destroyed eight Arachnos Operation Centre's.
Recent figures suggest that the death toll of her destructive sprees is around 200 murders per Arachnos base. Not to mention the recent waves of culling she has preformed on Ghost Widow's Arachnos Widows.
Many believe the cause of these killing sprees are related to a recent incident involving Ghost Widows plan's to rid the Rouge Iles of the Ghost of Death, due to the betrayal of her in an attempt to increase her power.
We caught up with Arbiter Sand’s to report on the current situation, and this is what he had to say.
“Clearly these attacks are a form of revenge, and a desperate attempt to extravert her image. However. Arachnos will be launching a joint retaliation with the Rouge Iles Police to finally end her rain.”
We also managed to get Ghost Widows views on these recent attacks, she told us.
“She has been a pest to Arachnos for a long time now, and we finally have the correct circumstances to finally thwart her - for good. I did command a few branches of widows to hunt her down, after her betrayal, but they were unsuccessful. She obviously thinks that by trying to lower our numbers, we’re suddenly going to become scared of her, and back down. She is incorrect, as we will soon be launching a counter attack to rid her of her powers and abilities. After all there is only room for one ghost around these parts…”
    Arbiter Sand’s also included;
“After we have removed her powers, she will be arrested and trailed before the court for the following; Murder, Manslaughter, Homicide, Terrorism, Vandalism, Theft, Harassment, Illegal Destruction of Private Property, Blasphemy, Constructing and Selling Illegal Weapons and the Practising of Illegal and Unholy Magic, including; Witchcraft, Sorcery, Conjuration, Enchantment, Exorcism, Hexing, Divination, Clairvoyance, Astral Absorption and Disruption, Dimensional Travelling, Disruption and Manipulation as well as other general occultist spells. That is all, this interview is over.”
It is less than likely the Ghost of Death will be in the Rouge Iles over the coming months because of Arachnos’ latest plans.

Be sure to check back regularly for updates on this article.

    hello people

Its good to see the return of a true villain, these streets have been feeling rather emmpty.

I hope to see you are.

    Unwelcome return

Deep within the Castle, a small black whole appeared in front of one of Bathory’s many transformational crystals.

The room violently shook as a familiar ghost briskly appeared in front of the black whole.

Jemma made her way across the castle, until she reached the throne room, looking furious that the Countess was not around...
She began to summon her Dark Servant, Storm.
"Storm, wait here for the countess, ask her to give me my orders... It seems I might need to pay Hilda a little visit.."
  21. My main Psi Storm is Katana/DA and boy don't i know all about -end!

I still haven't got around to IOing him but, for the toggles I have most of them 5 slotted usually with 3 def/or res and 2 end mod. (CoD and OG don't really need end slotted)
Also, depending on your primary that will also have a huge effect on your endurance, katana being fast recharging I have to slot most attacks with at least 1 end if not 2. Things like MA and BS will be heavy on the end too.

Sorry im not much help - due to the -end I've been ignoaring him sence lvl50 (about 4 years ago.)
  22. After I gave up on the NCsoft Store this morning, I spent a while talking to... Lets say... A... 'Local Celebrity' and he inspired me to suggest my little idea, just for fun!

Well, as we all know... These... 'Celebritys' attract ALOT of attention, so how about we get a little event going? Spend the day trying to find different GM's, I MEAN, Celebritys... And a nice little reward... A badge?! :O A Badge!? Yes! The GM_Seeker badge!

Well, what do you guys think? Could be fun!

Besides, I think after the recent events our GM's need a little break too!
  23. Was checking out the prices of Hami's in WW.

I think their my best option, so I'll play around with mids, and see what I can do...

I was also wandering should I drop the Leaping set, and replace so I can get tough?
  24. This is 'The Plan', as for slots and enhancements... Im not to sure as I've never really IO'd any of my toons.

  25. Ok guys, my MA/Will scrapper will soon be lvl50 and I’ll be removing him from PvE and going PvP mode.

Basically I need some help with what powers I should be picking, and how to slot. I would like to buy some cheap IO's for the sets but I only have around 150 mil inf.

If someone out there can get me a build, I would really appreciate it!

    Thanks very much!
