If you're using fire ammo the damage is above average compared to other blast sets.

  8. I came up with this. I switched you to the power epic since oppressive gloom and soul transfer probably weren't going to see much use on the type of things you're planning this to do. I was able to squeeze in executioner's shot as a result.

If you're hoping to do x8 then you should avoid sonic blast since it does very poor area damage. Storm/Ice is probably your best bet as freezing rain+ice storm does a lot of area damage once it's procced out.

As far as the IOs go you have a pretty good idea what you're doing. I just have some power change suggestions. Pull out dreadful wail and replace it with screech (keeping the same slotting) since screech is the best debuffing power available in sonic blast and then take out amplify and replace it with chocking cloud (replacing it with full lockdown) since it's a more useful power and gives better set bonuses.
  11. If you're fire or cold blast then scourge is a huge help with defeating minions. Some powersets take advantage of scourge MUCH better than others.

Factoring in animation time, electric fence will actually do more damage.
  13. I admit I had to think about it for a minute. "This'll work in FFG right? ....Yeah. Yeah it will."
  14. So RIGHT NOW lineups can be changed, but the changability will be changed on wednesday.

That's what I plan to do. Even if I can't join the main event I can watch it and do some matches for fun afterwards.
  16. I don't know what powers you normally use, but here's a build that I threw together that will hopefully give you some ideas on what inventions to use. There are a few sets that are much better than the ones I used, but are pretty expensive. For example, luck of the gambler's +recharge global is nice in fortitude and vengeance, obliteration would be much better in irradiate, and the apocalypse damage proc is just amazing in neutrino bolt.

That was just a matter of running out of slots. If you're going to always be running with another traps person, then I suggest dropping tactics to 3 slots and moving those slots to caltrops. You can max out damage, recharge, and use two damage procs that way (though at the cost of no end enhancement).

Also, I think I forgot to put knockback protection in the build I posted. You should try to put a karma knockback protection in force field generator.
  18. I suggest this. If it were me though, I'd drop one of the travel powers and trip mine in order to get one of the armors from an ancillary pool.

    Duel Ladder?

    I'm interested.

Also, I'm calling Dual Ladder/Willpower scrappers to be a new FoTM.
  23. Wait wait wait. When did we start talking about AV soloing?
