You've gotten insanely good, Rosen, keep it up!
-
*hops in the queue and points to LL in her sig*

Dunno how I've missed this thread so long, loving the drawings!
-
Awesome work, Alex, loving them
And happy birthday Kheprera -
Aw, I missed this one cause I was out celebrating my birfday :/ Looks great though
-
Well, I wasn't going to request anything, but got prompted a bit by a friend, so decided too after all. Leaving the toon choice up to you though
I've already got a sketch from you of my main, LadyLiberty in my sig, so a very special thanks (again) in advance.
Arabella Van Helsing, my DB/SR scrapper, descendant of Abraham Van Helsing, but has taken a much more adventurous approach to hunting vampires than he did. Front Back/Side
SpectralStorm, Illusion/Storm controller. Not much of an origin yet for this one, beyond being "Magic" :/ Pretty typical hero I guess at this point, but, with really nifty/flashy powersFront Back/Side

No issues with 8.10 here, beyond the usual. :/

Is the issue with the enhancement screen and the mouse cursor (those of you have have to deal with this problem know exactly what I'm talking about) an issue that might be able to be fixed by the NCSoft team, or is it in ATI's ballpark? Kind of annoying, particularly when I am trying to respec a high-level character and have all those IO's to shuttle around.
[/ QUOTE ]
Unknown. Considering that the issue didn't appear until the X1*** series cards, (and still doesn't exists on cards prior to that series,) I'd lean toward placing the blame on AMD/ATI.
[/ QUOTE ]I've dealt with that literally since I started CoH, since I got my 1800 like 2 weeks afterwards. Now I have a 4850, and I LOVE IT. Everyone looks so fantastic! And runs so fast and smooth! BUT when I turn the water details on, good as it looks, it's really screwed up, lol. Don't suppose there's a workaround for this (yet?)? -
Give me Liberty, or give me Debt! I love it

, he just loves the Batman cover it was inspired by.
[/ QUOTE ]I'm not a big comic reader, but I do like Batman, and I /did/ actually recognize this, even if I didn't know why... Looks awesome LJ -
I'd comment on the technique too, if I knew anything about these things, but instead I'll say it's got me grinning like an idiot
You're extremely awesome to do this for me, but seeing as how you're so swamped (And you've been mountainloads of awesome in the past already) I really would understand if it takes a whileI'll still be checking everyday... but I'll understand
-
Hey, Grats Killer! Does this mean you'll be coming back to us again now that you've got villains outta your system?
-
Your style is incredibly familiar, and resembled no less than 2 people I have watched on DA that both suspiciously went poof. Stop disappearing! How can we watch your artz if you're constantly disappearing and switching names and accounts?!
Faved. Watched. Again.
EDIT: And wow! I just went through the rest of your newest gallery, and have you made me miss some great art or what? -
Looks great! Welcome to the boards!
-
Very nice! Was starting to wonder if we'd see another of these or not. Keep up the lovely work LJ
-
I've looked through it more for finding artists I like, I don't have the money to commission (college stinks sometimes...).
But on another note, Happy Birthday MaskedShrike! -
Not complete, but still looking good!
Liking them even more the more I look at them!
Finish them or not, I'm still keeping an eye on this thread and your DA. You've got a great style, and I'm looking forward to seeing more! -
Hero Machine comes to mind, I don't know whats going on with that these days, I think there's still a free limited version of it, and then the full thing is like $10 or something, maybe less.
Then there's a free online one, but its in Portugeuse IIRC (havent been there in a while). http://www.iniciative.com.br/edu/heroomatic/fabrica.swf Play with it a bit, and you should be able to figure it out though.
Both work like paper dolls. You chose art of the body, then you go through and slowly add art on top of it, you get more of an animated cartoon style hero at the end. Lots and lots of options in both of them, but I think the Portugeuse one is better... and free. Just got to fiddle with it a bit to really learn it. -
Wow, not only looking great, but churning them out! I love these new ones, especially Mayumi.
-
Sorry about the rotten holiday weekend, but grats on the art!
-
Wow! I love being so pleasantly surprised looking at a new face's art. By all means practice with LadyLiberty, in my sig. Imma keep watching this thread
Even if you don't make it to me, it'll be worth it.

Bear with me, I'm always more than a little nervous when showing new people my drawings.
[/ QUOTE ]Uh, why? You're stuff is fantastic! Can't wait to see more
The first one, especially Seraphim, reminds me a lot of one of my fave comics, Invincible. -
Hey LJ, love the new sketch
You've done art for both my toons that I have reference pics for (and brown nosing aside, they really do rock), but feel free to take a stab at inking them again -

So my question is why are the sig heroes dressing up in period outfits?
Or is that revealed through the story line?
[/ QUOTE ]Yeah, and why does that 5th General look so familiar too?!
