Hmph. I went up two levels before I finally defeated Terra while soloing on my Inv/SS. Fought her when I first got the mission: she couldn't kill me and I couldn't kill her, so I waited a level and tried again, still couldn't kill her. Waited another level, still no dice. So rather than waiting another level, I filled my Insp Collector in my base with Med Red Skittles, filled my Insp tray with Med Red Skittles and started wailing on her. Got her down to half before my Insp tray ran out, exited the mish, ran back to base for a refill, went back to her (by now she had regened back to about three-fourths health) wailed on her till my tray was empty again....repeat until done.

'course this was before IO's and before I had any vet powers. But still, tanks is weak.

My personal rule of thumb used to be: sell Common IO recipes at a vendor, but for Named IO recipes, I would buy salvage, craft the enhancement, then sell the enhancement on the market.

In light of the fact that salvage has decreased in supply and consequently increased in price, is that still a good strategy in general? For that matter was it ever a good strategy?

(I don't have either the patience or the memory skills to sit in the market and evaluate each recipe individually to see if I would be better off selling the recipe or buying salvage, crafting then selling the enhancement. I'm just looking for some kinda rule in general....)

Oh, blueside exclusively. At least until side-switching....

I'm going to guess that the answer is "no", but I'm going to ask anyway.

Is it possible to have a villain with the same name as a hero?

(Reason I'm asking: I'm planning on re-rolling my main [Inv/SS tank] as an SS/Inv brute and then side-switching. Same name, same costume, etc. Am I gonna have to pay for a name change?)

I've got a character named Epine Rouge. Roughly translates to "Red Thorn". I'm honestly surprised nobody has tried to "correct" me on the spelling yet. ><

As for me, I'll retire my main Inv/SS and replace him with an SS/Inv brute. Since I mostly solo, playing a meatshield no longer appeals to me.

I made my ss/dark brute only because dark wasnt available to tanks back then.
Now, Im waiting for Energy/Electrical/SR/ninjitsu to come to tanks.

Knowing power proliferation is coming made me play controllers and mastermind more, until it shows up on tanks.

To amend my post a little bit, if SS gets proliferated to scrappers (and isn't horribly nerfed) before side-switching becomes available, then I'll replace my Inv/SS with an SS/Inv scrapper instead of an SS/Inv brute. I'd rather be "true blue."

I think High Beam made this guide using a blaster. And somewhere in the preceding pages, Hatred's Hungry Heart was suggested as a replacement for Rise of the Vampyri.

What am I gonna do with 100 crafted items a day? My character can't use that many. There's not enough slots on the market to sell that many a day. SG storage costs rent, so I can't store them in my base. Delete them? Maybe your character can afford to throw away that kind of inf, mine can't.

So is Posi saying that Epics and ED are imperfect or the way they were implemented was imperfect.

(I personally don't think there is a problem with Epics or ED; but, then I started playing after they had already been implemented.)
