My favorite NPC saying is: Did your mom dress you this morning? Another one: Longbows, Arachnos, whats the difference? They've all got guns. Another: There is SUCH a fine line between stupidity and clever. AND: I don't know why they call it "Mercy Island". They sure didn't show me any.
You wanna go someplace? Ferries and choppers pal. Ferries and choppers. Or those two legs you got there. -
LOL! Random click on a NPC in PO: Moo. hilarious...Also: This isn't "Good Bye", it's just "I'll never see you again"
ALso:Rule oneon't ask questions. Rule two
on't ask questions. Any questions? man this is funny.

I think that Recluse's hatred of Statesman has nothing to do with the Gods inside them, but is personal between the two. Then they both got these powers from the same source and that just excaberated the situation. In my opinion the most "evil" of the Greek Gods was Ares the God of War. Mostly though because out of all the Gods he was the biggest [censored]. And what better God to be the Incarnate of if you want to take over the world, than the God of War. The only Hades connection we've seen is Fort Hades, and I think it's just named that because of the ghosts that hang out there.
I agree with the Statesman having been in a relationship with Monica thing, that could certainly help fuel Recluse's hatred of him if he mistreated (matter of perspective of course) her. However, if she's still alive, she'd be really old. I think she is either A) dead, and Recluse is actually Hades and therefore has access to the souls of the dead (Ghost Widow got brought back, sort of). B) Monica is also some kind of Incarnate working for Recluse. C) Half alive/ dead, in a suspended state/altered state, somewhere on the Rogue Isles protected by Recluse.
[/ QUOTE ]Hmmm who do we know who is half alvie/dead in a altered state somewhere on the Rouge Isles protected by Recluse? Hmmm help me out here....ohhhh could it be Ghost Widow. Who slept with Statesman and died but Recluse being the incarnate of hades brought back her soul as Ghost Widow and when Recluse said and my sister sends her regards he was referring to oh Monica aka. Ghost Widow (the sister of his states slept with) sends her regards. And Ghost doesnt know this because Recluse wiped her memories. It all fits -

I was thinking the same thing,
Stheno could be the sister that Recluse was reffering to in the comic.
a sister in divinity as it were.
[/ QUOTE ]
Wait, so you think that one of Medusa's sister is also Recluse sister? That's a new level of crazy, expecialy since the Snakes appear to be out for Arachnos blood. No, that doesn't add up. Also, Baracuda is with Mako and is a hybrid Coralax, she ain't Recluse's sister either, but I'll bet his sister will play an important role in either his orgins of hating Stateman or in the on going story or both.
[/ QUOTE ]Not recluses sister, but the incarnated god inside recluse. Shes the gods sister. -

Not having gotten Issue 3 yet, I'm not exactly sure what way the "sister" thing was used. My guess, however, would be that Recluse isn't talking about his actual blood sister, but the sister to whomever he's an incarnate of.
[/ QUOTE ]Um issue three cam out on wednesday man i got it in the mail. -
I know the well of furies is a ancient well that holds part of the powers of the gods. 3 ancient goddesses called the furies were all sisters, they stole some of the gods powers and put them in the well. Now according to what that article said recluse and statesman drank from this well and got the powers of gods. Well each sister also put a tiny bit of thier memories in there. When the article said Stheno wanders the rouge isles, i got a pretty good idea of either who the half-breed baracuda lady is, or the identity of recluses sister. In the new coh magizine i (and im assuming everyone else) got in the mail, recluse says to statesman oh and my sister sends her regards. This could be Stheno/baracuda. any other thoughts?

Finally it was beginning to get very annoying. Ty Geko!!!!

I don't know if its been mentioned (too many posts for me to look at) but if anyone has read Harry Potter or played WoW it mentions Red Caps little fairy imp type creatures (which are from Harry Potter) and Fir Bolgs which is in WoW. Did they steal some ideas?

Yes, I know..I should've looked at that a little better, yes?
If the Freedom Phalanx and Hero Corps will make an appearance in CoV, will we (as villains) be fighting hero NPCs from CoH?

Such as Statesman or Positron? Yes definately.
[/ QUOTE ] Hmm I though Statesman dies in the coh comic? does the comic story affect the real gaming experiance? -
Maybe instead of making 3 posts in a row, you could just go to your first one and click on edit and add things next time.

[/ QUOTE ] Lol flipping off a box of kittens! hmm how bout puking on a box of kittens? -
It is obviously indicative of fairy creatures tied the power of the earth for their sustenance and life. Now, if we look at these too associative descriptions together, blue blood and earth fairy, we we arrive at a singular undeniably fallible conclusion. Smurfs. The new epic AT will in fact be the beloved three-apple high, blue skinned heroes of our Saturday mornings.
[/ QUOTE ]
LOL! SMURFS! Man I can imagine every hero in Paragon looking like Smurfs under Atlas grouped together singing the Smurf theme song. Then Papa Smurf come out on the plaq regarding Atlas's tale and all at once the singing stops and every Smurf's little face will be smiling and happy as Papa Smurf says: "Good morning my young Smurflings!" And all the Smurf's will scream: "Good morning Papa Smurf!" lol that would be hilarous. -

There's a I4 updated plaque in Freedom Corps. in the Magi office that states something like "And the blood of the Mu shall rise again to wash over the earth."
Wasn't there speculation that Mu were in fact a part if not the entire population of Atlantis?
[/ QUOTE ]
Actually it says: "The blood of Mu shall rise, and it shall wash across the ocean and the land. The power that lies dormant within these humble rocks cannot remain so forever." If you're wondering where to find that go to Galaxy City and to Freedom Corps and then in M.A.G.I. then there will be a plate with rock hands behind the person there and it will tell you what I typed.
