    Taxi bot

I always thought the taxi bots were cool. Even used one a couple times. Nowadays I think I'm asking to borrow someone's oro portal more than a tp somewhere.

    Taxi bot

I remember a time when there used to be taxi bots all over paragon. I dont need one and I'm not going to be one but I was wondering if anyone still played taxi bot?

    Ill/Ta

Well when I19 comes out I can cut out the fitness pool and use something else, not sure what but I'll think of something.

Go ahead and PM me that sample and I'll see what I can do with it.

  5. If you need some tips Pie Roe drop Funk a line. I've been on a few CoP runs with him and we managed to do it in like 19 minutes!! Was fun tho. Well coordinated it can go very quickly. Good luck with it

    Ill/Ta

Well I'm considering getting back into this toon for some fun times.
Which epic would be better ice or earth? I know ice is good for hibernoob fun and earth is good for earths embrace +hp and seismic smashyness.

I'm planning on taking speed/leaping/fitness and leadership for pools.

Sooo many useful powers with this build and not a clue which ones should have priority. I've heard that spectral terror is good for neutering the occasional AS as well as disruption arrow. Do either of those really take stalkers out of hide? Should I take both of them to almost guarantee not gettin hit by the random AS? Not like they cant just trow sharks at me instead.

Where should I put the placate proc in blind or PGA? I have it in PGA now but I never really thought I could put it in blind because the sleep part of blind is very unreliable. Does it proc regularly in blind? Reading up on the power in city of data and paragonwiki it doesn't go into much detail on how blind works but if it has a chance to proc every click then it's gonna go in there cuz PGA takes too long to recharge.

Also any tips on whether I should be slotting for dmg in my ST hold or should I slot for well..... hold? lol

Thanks for your input and eventually you'll have a sneaking suspicion I'm in the zone. ;P

The initial damage is not in the power text either.

    So there's two bugs.

    1. No initial damage in power text.
    2. 4x as many DoT ticks than should be.

PLEASE FIX before I get used to it's OP nature.

It should do one amount of initial damage, then 13? ticks of dot damage. The initial damage should show in power text.
Don't you go nerfing my burn when I just got it back. My fire/ss tank now feels like an offensive powerhouse since the change.

    Game Update

Does anyone know what the patch was about yesterday? I can't find any notes on it but I know I saw a patch download and apply.
  10. 2 emp/anything can be a monsterous duo after you get the RA's and AB.
  11. Wow, there's a lot of responses to this.
I'd like to thank those that were supportive on the issue and coming up with good ideas to help me out.
As far as the others are concerned, I'm not going to leave my wife because we fight over me spending money on this game. If she wants to leave me because of it that's on her.
It's a small comfort to know I'm not going to be the only one that can't play in praetoria for a while.
I guess I'll have to be happy, which I am very much so, with playing with my fire/ss tank that is a beast now that burn's been fixed!

    FIRE/SS Tank

Made some adjustments and here's what I ended up with. I don't really know why I went with quicksand. I took foot stomp out of habit. Easily replaced by taunt.

    FIRE/SS Tank

Would I need foot stomp for pvp? It'd be useful against MM's but how many ppl are going to just stand there and wait for me to get close enuf to use it?
The only option I see is to drop foot stomp for taunt. I don't have a problem doing that if the general consensus says foot stomp is not really needed.

    FIRE/SS Tank

No taunt in there?? Huh, I guess I over looked that. I coulda swore I had it in there. grumble grumble Gotta go over this build again.

    FIRE/SS Tank

Thanks for the tip sung. I did some looking at this build and did some rearanging. Got my hp up to 2500+ with accolades. I somehow managed to get exactly 41 pts of kb prot. Here's what I'm planning for now. This will be a zone only toon.
Do I need to add more kb prot? I know I can slot 1 more if need be.

    FIRE/SS Tank

Could someone look over this build I'm thinking of using on my fire/ss tank? I'm not sure where to get the extra kb prot from, I'm almost at 40. Does this build have enough +hp or do I need to think about more? I think the recharge on it is good but switchin around sets will mess with that I think. Let me know what you think. I went earth APP because all the searching I did pointed to that epic.

    GR server

Is the GR server going to come down and be part of the Test server or are they going to be kept separate?
If I am unable to buy GR would I be able to test out those new power sets on the test server or is that going to require the GR serial too?
  18. This is not a troll thread and I'm not trying to stir up anything I'm genuinely curious who won't be able to get the new expansion.

I am unable to buy the new expansion, economic reasons. I wish I was able to buy GR but I have to fight with my wife to even spend the $ to keep up my subscription.

I was a little sad when I found out the new power sets were only available to those who buy GR. I was really looking forward to playing elec control till I read that.

I figure the devs will eventually do to GR what they did to COV and make it included if you buy the others. That's going to be a long wait for me unless things pick up around here, chances are I'm going to be jealous of every toon I see with the new power sets cuz this city I'm in is dying off. I've done ok with all the pistol people and demon MM's running around by telling myself I'll get a chance at those when I18 hits. Looks like I have a long wait ahead of me before that happens.

Is anyone else stuck in my boat?

    Shadow meld ?

Don't forget you get a freespec upon completion of a patron arc

*edit* Well the first one at least. I don't think they give any more for doing the other arcs.
  20. I think the only things that need to be addressed with mercs is serum, the recharge times for the pets powers and the medic.

With all the controls that mercs have available to them they should at least rival a controller or be 1 step below. The amount of control that mercs do throw out is substandard with the long recharge times and short durations. I have a 46 merc/traps and in that time leveling I've never been able to rely on my pets for sustained crowd control. I was disappointed from the start because I went with mercs instead of bots, was trying to not be another bots/traps, I had hopes that all the mez the mercs offer could offset the fact that I can't softcap mercs like bots can.

I still don't know what would be suitable for a serum rework but I'm sure I'd be happy with whatever they do to it as long as it's better than it's current state.

And PLEASE take the grenade away from my medic. I grow weary of losing my medic to the first spawn and not bothering to resummon till the next mission. With my 3 years of active duty in the Army I've never known a medic to attack if there was an injury on the battlefield and I've never seen a medic carry grenades unless they were spec ops or something like that but the merc medic aint no special ops!!

    /e rant over

Anyway, tap into the Horde runs here to get started. Easy way to meet new people, and frankly, we're mostly not undislikeable.

    Need new friends

I'm not really sure where to post this but here it is, I'm looking for more global friends to team with. Since I started this game back in '05 I got a good global list built up but more often than not most of them are greyed out.
I need some new ppl to team with. Doing the solo farming thing is getting dull. I have most of my toons on pinnacle and freedom with a scattering of lowbies on other servers.
I'm a good player that tries to maximize the teams effectiveness and would be a great benefit to your team if you choose it.

Send me a tell at @funda if you're lookin for a new friend.

PS: Since my son was born 8 months ago I've been having very erratic gaming times and there fore my time is limited for now.

    lmao.......... oh that's classic.

That name just dawned on me one day. My 1st 50 was a spine/sr scrap started back in I4. That toon didn't hit 50 somewhere around a year later. I spent so much time in the hosp it's unreal lol.
