hey i'm curious since masterminds can make there pets/summons do emotes like read the newspaper or make em dance is it possible to make fire imps do that also? cuz I'm almost got my fire imps and I love to see my fire imps do crazy dances for my nxt music vid ^^

Controllers are really fun, I must admit! I used to play as a fire blaster on US Guardian now I play a Fire/Rad Controller on EU Union, His story is caught in a mutations lab explosion whilst trying to save peoples lives I suppose it really depends on your liking... Fire for damage, Ice to slow, mind & illusion to confuse. It really depends on what control you have the most fun with, same goes for secondary.

Erm... how about not dying?
Some comments:
- You need 3 damage enhances in your attacks (much more important than rchg or slows)
- CE needs endreds (e.g. 2 endred / 2 slows)
- CJ: def is minimal, slot for jump
- SJ: 3 jumps is too much (even for PvP)
- Health: not really worth it for squishies, but if you really want to take it, don't waste slots on it
- Aim: 1-2 ThT_Buf are enough, and that's really if you want to PvP (same with BU)
- Ice Patch: 1-2 rchgs is better slotting
- Try to take Stamina earlier (before BU) and if possible, Hasten
- Acrobatics: slot endred
- Freezing Touch: I would slot 1-2 acc 2-3 holds
- Frozen Aura: as I said, I would take Shiver instead, but try it and see what you think

actually it did, I decided to drop Frozen Aura as who needs an AoE sleep hold when there gonna be woken up with an inferno any how... and managed to somehow fit super speed in also!

I only put three slots in travel powers as an example from fly 3 flight SO's makes ye fly alot faster... yesterday I just put in lvl 30 fly so's and my flight speed has defiantly increased! so I persume with Super Speed its as same as SJ? or am I allowed to have the extra speed slot in there?

any way I devised an build for my blaster... so far I choosen the powers I made with the build up to 13 and like I said if I wanted to hold stuff I go play my controller frank, he has excellent holding abilities...

Hey Guys, im curious to know Since Fire Cages is an immob attack shouldnt ice slick knockdown be still effective? because ice controlers chew my head of when I accidently pick fire cages moments before they decide to use Ice slick...I mean all Fire cages does is stop them running, not like they could any how on a ice slick?

Hey Hey folks I decided to Make a Fire/Ice Blaster, so far he's a pretty fun toon to play I think I might use the Double xp to get him up a few levels... however the plan I made for him doesnt look promising, I put reasons for my powerpicking in each one I also havent done any enhancing because since the new ED ehancing thing im not sure which enhanncers goes where etc...

I did have a thought about the other Epic pools such as Munitions but didnt really need another snipe/kb/hold power since Fire/ice already have most of em...

hey guys im looking to do the respec TF the LvL 24 and I really need to do a respec! so if any one's lvl 24 and would also like a respec please come by the Jane Halloway (I think) contact on Valor Bridge in IP on Saturday at 8:30-9:00pm UK GMT Time!
Dont mind 24+ but if I remember correctly TF's mission difficulty is set by the highest player in the team if we all have a team of 24 and one or two 28 were basically screwed already! Prefably AT's for this TF: Defenders(healer), Blasters, Tankers, Scrappers,
but I am willing to work with other AT's if it should be...
Look foward to seeing any of you guys there!(p.s. also accepting exemplars depending on the team progress!)

Blasters need some kind of defense to keep the mobs at bay if there not taunted by tanks but in my last fire build I had Fire Sword Circle which prooved mighty useful in most occasions along side with consume, a majorly handy power dont forget if you have blaze that can also be very helpful in close combat... in other words Fire Secondary = Fire Scrapper ^_^

BU & Aim isnt as what it used to, I recomend not taking either, as it lasts as long as an empty slottted hasten at lvl 6 it only lasts for a few seconds nor do I also recommend taking Rain of Fire since that just makes you the bad guy when you have the tanker/scrapper teams =P I did take it but only at the high 40's when you tend not to use it as much even then I still probably would've respeced it out and not missed it

I also dont think that Fire Control is overpowered its just containment doing its job

meeh im not much of a fan for fire blast despite its good attribrutes, Fireball is enough for me I mean think about it Fireball+Containment= BOOYAH! OWNED! besides I wanted to make room for hasten, I'm just gonna go with the latest and see how it turns out I'm almost 24 in time for my first respec any how so my latest build should be a good one

im curious is cinders worth taking? as I am finally 18 now and I just tooked it... its like EMP, long recharge and has short holding ability I suppose it would be better once I slot it but is it actually worth dropping for smoke or TP instead? as seeing as EMP does exactly the same thing but larger range and has a special on mecha mobs such as clockwork

I like to be the usefull dude for teams without healers instead of holding the door open for others to simple just pass through if you catch my drift
however the other night in a frostfire mish Smoke did finally had a use as it keept the mob at bay whilst were killing the other mobs I was thinking on dropping bonfire for it but alas I cant seem to find away to slot it the only thing I can do is slot it with one ToHit Debuff which is what I got atm

It can be useful to keep mobs from joining in a fight, make travelling at lower levels alot easier, plus I find the acc debuff is also quite useful at times, especially solo
On the few fire controllers I´ve tried, the best example I have for smokes usefulness is in the cavern of transcendence. With so many mobs so close to each other, fights can often become big challenges, but, with a good enough team that understands when not to attack things, you can keep fights small and easy to manage, without any need for failed snipes and massive debt at lower level
I would personally take smoke over recall friend, as it will serve you better for usefulness, especially if you dont intend to take teleport, or any of the other powers from the tp pool.If I had to choose a power from the tp pool, however, I suppose the teleport enemy power (the name of which I just forgot) might be a bit more useful for group holds etc. But I would deffinatley think about dropping that in place of lovely smoke

I suppose so, but whats really more usefull? disabling some mobs for a few seconds or tping your teammate just so you can ress them in a safe spot? heh I'd say you'd be more popular with recall friend than taking up smoking any day!

I left out flashfire in the last build cuz I tooked it previously on my old lvl 16 fire/rad trolly it had slow recharge at first but I suppose it'll probably be more usefull at a later level... tell me what you guys think? -

currently as im lvl 11 now with me new char I decided to take up smoking at lvl 6 turns out to be the most useless power in my collection... any advice is helpful and one more thing is it really important to take stamina as soon as you can? cant you like move it up a few levels or something? like leave it at lvl 22+? -

EDIT: No I dont mind the aggro and flares are pretty good power attack I reckon, tried making a new char with fire blast didnt go to well so restarted with Shadow Nightfire -
thanks for the advice, but from what I heard Hasten isnt required any more and TP Foe has the most stupid of accuracy if there was anything I would take in TP it would be TP friend and finally I was only thinking of the enhancing upgrade as its not as its used to before I6 or I5 I think....
