  2. I would guess the massive damage from WM would be pretty nice with a crit as well. I played a WM/SD scrapper to about 44 before shelving him for a while. I have a 50 WM/FA brute who I love. When i'm at max range WM can just crush bosses in 1-2 hits easy! Love it and the sounds. I'd recommend you try it, prob won't be disappointed with WM no matter which AT it's on!
  3. So I'm one of the ones who enjoys farming, but I also find it incredibly boring! I give all credit to Red Dominion for the great fire farms he's made for us, but after a while I just can't take those little red suits anymore. So I made a "comedic" Fire Farm that entertains those who are in the farm, as well as provides the exact same xp and boss/ally amounts as Red's. I made pretty random costumes, because I wanted to emulate random players, as well as included a number of talking bosses. Give it a try and I would love some stars and comments if you like it! If I get good ratings on this one i'll make a cave or whatever maps are requested. Thanks!

    P.S. - I also made a "Derpy" version of Red's Carnival Farm you can try if you want a twist on Red's Carnival City Farm.

  4. Hey all. Would love some feedback on this guild. I have 2 other fire brutes (one ss one wm) and wanted a claws that was quick but also had a high def. I got this one up to 190% +rchg and almost 34% fire def. The damage is a bit low i'd guess but I just want a lazy farmer. Thanks!

    Staff/Ice Build

  8. I have played a WM/Fire brute for a while now and I used to have a WM/SD scrapper and they were both amazing. The Range on the aoe and 180 degree cone are also winners. I think it's just that ss has Rage and TW is marketed as better AOE damage. You don't have it wrong though. Out of the 3 original Medieval Weapons (BA/BS/WM) WM is the best.
  9. I'm returning from a long break and looking to restart my WM/Fire Brute. I'd like to build him so that he can fire farm, but have some kind of PVE survivability as well. I have a SS/Fire brute who is built, so yes I know this powerset isn't going to be as fast, but WM is just too fun to not play. I've got access to PPP and have Mu Mastery atm for Chain Lightning and Fences. Here is a link to my powers. I haven't slotted them or added anything else to this build so it's just for people to mess around with and see if they can help me. Thanks!

  10. I'm a Ice Armor Tank who likes to spend the times i'm bored in AE on my custom Ice Farms. I'm fully slotted with IO's and am looking to raise my damage a little bit more. I know that the Assault Core Hybrid can't go past dmg cap, but as Tanks is that anything to worry about? Our dmg isn't that impressive as is, and am wondering if the 5 stacks of 65% per stack would help our damage? Or should we just do like all the other melee classes and go for the double dmg chance Radial? Would love some info. Haven't looked what my dmg % is in game (servers are down atm) but I doub't i'm anywhere near cap. Thanks for replies!

    Haha have you taken a good look at the sonic powers recently? I'm sure other power sets sure, but sonic has little to offer for my purposes, the 3 main attacks I have are fully slotted and aim is slotted with recharge and buffs, but other than siren's song which is 1 slotted, I have nothing else that interests me. Just a weak DD, a hold, wail (drains all ur end for a time) and a aoe knockback. None which are of use. Sonics only use is, the attacks do decent -res to mobs. Stack that with the -def of poison and you've got a pretty decent debuffer imo.
  12. I have to say I disagree with most the people on here saying Poison Corrs aren't better than the other AT's. My Sonic/Poison Corr has weaker poison debuffs sure, but he's also got the sonic -res debuffs as well. When you are a MM you are probably wasting way more slots on your Primary than sticking them in poison, than a Corr will (I said probably :P). So hypothetically Corrs can slot their poisons more, if you are a pure debuffer like me and only really use 3 Sonic Powers to debuff. This allows me to have a wider range of debuffs, more allowance to slot, and can focus on healing/debuffing the whole time. With sonic you can also go a build with 3-4 holds/controls as well if you want to go that route, but then you might as well make a troller if you are one for controls. Venomous Gas works pretty well for my Sonic Corr but like others said with Fire maybe not as much. The Debuff you get from Gas is very nice though. You could also try Rad Blast/Poison Corr if debuffage, and Rad might work good with Venomous Gas, but I don't have much experience with Rad Blast. Good luck with you /Poison toon! Love mine!
  13. So i'm looking at the Assault Hybrid power for my Spines/FA scrapper. I'm wondering if the dbl dmg (reactive) power works one my 2 dmg auras (chance per tick?) or if those powers are excluded, and if it procs during an AOE (I have a few AOES :P) does it hit for all the targets or just chance on hit per mob? Or would it be better to just go Core and take the % dmg increase. Thanks for any replies.

  17. Wow! Keep up the fail work spelling police. I wrote that reply at 4am so sue me. I also didn't spell its, it's, if you wanna be a real ******.

    The farm can get someone to 17 in 1 run in about 15 mins. Less mobs than a cave, but as far as me not being amazing at designing farms... I'd love to find one better than this for speed runs that isn't a troll cave or a carnival outdoor map that both take 45 mins to clear.

  18. I just made a fantastic new Fire Farm for post ambush nerf farming! It includes max mobs/pats, 1 ambush, and 9 allys to rescue. Its in a small condensed unique map that allows Max tickets in 5 mins easy! Only issue is the clicky and dest. object are placed at front but they spawn randomly anywhere in the zone since its so condensed. Try it and rate it! ID# 529399 Death by Fire (Fire Farm).   19. Nice ty for the reply. I few things though. EA is up at least every 35s, so I don't slot of end redux because end isn't a problem. That allows me to stack on more dmg and that's why I have icicles enhanced the way it is. I barely watch my end and icicle puts out a rain of numbers on the screen! I agree about CJ and Stam, and a few of the enh choices were just because I was making the build quickly on MIDS. The +regen/+recovery is in my Health and not on HF, but on that note, I keep HF up almost 100% of the time, so anything on there will be up almost 100%. I use this build for farming so there is no need for E/N defenses even though they are already decent.
    Any tips or ideas based on that would be great.

  21. Basically I have all the powers I want, don't need help there. Just need help with slotting and what to slot with. I have a lot of overlapping bonuses (+9% acc is coming to mind). I'd like to fix that so I can maximize my bonuses...
  22. I know this post is a little old, but I am tweaking my ice/elec farming build and came upon this. First thing is first... It's VERY tough to find advice on our build because the people who haven't played this build don't know much about it... no offense. Second, why would you be doing FIRE FARMS??? Not sure why that was even brought up... Ice farms (and MAYBE s/l if you're into that stuff) are where you need to be. Same xp, same difficulty mobs. you have 45%+ cold def, 90% cold res, they don't have ANY KB or attacks wet ice can't handle, and there is not question that you need permafrost. Get it, slot you're Steadfast 3% def in it. There is NO NEED for any clap moves as an Ice tank in an ice farm, none of their moves get through, and if they do they barely hurt you. Most of you're build looks okay though. Take Hibernate, stick 2 numina's or something in it for the +regen and it's a nice 30+ second AFK button if u need to bio or phone etc. I take every power in Ice Armor. Someone mentioned Oblit not being good for Thunder Strike bc it doesn't have much end redux. You don't NEED end redux in most powers. EA is usually up before I reach 1/2 my end bar as i'm spamming all my AOE's. The only times I have end probs is when it's down to 1-2 mobs.
    If you want you can try any of my 3 ice farms. Just search "@DrkFlz or DrkFlz" in AE. They give max xp and are easily do'able at 54x8 by a tank with only SO's.

I've been doing custom ice farms (search DrkFlz) for a couple months now and am loving it much more than my ss/fire brute, yet I haven't been seriously trying to upgrade this tank to peak performance. I have been farming with SO's and Fire Mastery, and just today I rolled her to villain and got Mu Mastery. I have about 1-2bil infl and this is the build i'm thinking of, and please if you have any ideas or tips or adjustments post!

  24. Right now i'm lvl 48 on my Mercs/TR (yes Thermal ) and i'm loving it! Not sure why thermal isn't mentioned so much for mercs. It's got the 2 shields which help. 2 heals (1 aoe 1 st). Forge ramps ur commando up. melt armor + Heat exhaustion = HUGE debuff combo, haven't tried it on AV's but i'm hoping the -regen -def -res in that combo helps in that dept. I really don't get why it's hard to find posts of MM's with thermal as a 2ndary. I guess too many bots/FF clones.
