Oh really?
Since September 16, 2004 the devs have added the following lower level zones and all their cumulative content.

- The Troll Tunnels - level 12-15
- Eden - level 33-39
- Striga Isle - level 20-29
- Croatoa - level 25-34
- Bloody Bay - level 15-25
- Siren's call - level 20-30
- Warburg - level 30-38
- Mercy Island - level 1-8
- Port Oakes - level 7-12
- Cap Au Diable - level 8-20
- Sharkhead Isle - level 20-30
- Nerva Archipelago - level 25-40
- Faultline revamped - level 15-25
- Rikti War Zone - (level 35 and up) replaces Rikti Crash Site
- Ouroboros - level 25 and up
- Cimerora - level 35 and up
Compared to these zones and all their end game content.
- Perigrine Island - level 41-50
- Rikti Crash Site - level 40-50
- Shadow Shard - level 40-53
- Grandville - level 40-50
- Recluse Victory - level 40-50
- The Abyss - level 45-50
Guess which one you are . . .

Here's a hint. You're not Chuck Norris.

The above is great advice. The biggest difference between playing WoW and CoH is where the emphasis on content is. WoW focuses on adding stuff to the end of their game while our devs continually add stuff everywhere else. A player here can make several different characters and each one will have done different missions unless the player deliberately chooses to run the same things over and over.

Quote:Those items are chest emblems. As seen here on ParagonwikiI believe that the dragon, the tiger, and the foot are all part of the Martial Arts booster pack.

They don't appear on the backs of clothing.
This is what the OP is actually talking about.

Currently it can be found under:
- Upper Body
- Jackets
- Baron
- Dragon
How long it will remain there I have no idea.
Edit: And no it was never part of the magic booster.

That would be fine with me. Using prestige a reasonable price could be set that a large SG could afford, yet wouldn't seem out of reach for a small SG to work towards. And with the conversion rate being what it is, it would be a great inf sink if anyone used it to boost what they had to buy a rename.

Quote:On the one hand i agree that the amount of time is a coutner incentive, because it has worked that way at least for me. I came up with an idea and the idea simply wouldn't work without something in the game existing... looked through all the stuff and found it in vet rewards... that vet reward was I think 3 to 6 months away at the time and that just annoyed me.
On the other hand... the Veteran reward is meant to be a reward for sticking to the game. The problem that this game incadentally created with vet rewards is that they are largely aesthetic or are just QoL items that while nice aren't necessary... and that is what a lot of the game's players actually want as regular content. And some vet rewards are complete flops to some while others are great to others... My next vet reward is the boxing set and I dn't see how or where I'll ever use it so It's a waste to me...along with the following 12 months till I get to the one i want.
There have been solutions to this suggested, like have a selection or something like that, but they people would pick all the good ones first, which i say "so?" to, but then people will start complaining when the good ones run out anyways.
I would love a solution, but I just can't see one that doesn't take away from the idea of it's for veterans that doesn't eventually just end with people whining anyways.
I've always felt that if they are going to have costume pieces as rewards then there should be a basic set available for everyone to use while the vet reward is the fancy/unique one.
Take the Samurai Armor for example. They should have given everyone a basic set and called it something like Ronin, and had the vet reward be a fancy set called Shogun or Daimyo version -
Quote:/signedI would like the option, when doing a respec, to be able to start with my current build and undo/redo levels back to a certain point. Like, say I'm level 40 and I just want to fiddle with my choices from level 30 onwards, this would allow me to go back to level 30 and retrain from there without having to rebuild the character from scratch like a typical respec.

Quote:Same here. In fact I've been getting more invites then ever each time I log on. I've had to start using the /hide feature to get some peace and quiet form all the pug invites.Nope, haven't noticed. Seems just fine from my perspective.

EDIT: That said, there's nothing wrong with more advertising, especially without a price tag.
Of course I'll never object to the company doing more to attract more customers. -
Quote:1. Depends on your playstyle. As in any game the Powerleveler's will level faster.Hey all! After checking out the Going Rogue expansion, I've suddenly become interested with CoH/V again. I've joined/left about 3 times (so this would be my 4th). But before I consider re-joining, I would like to know a few things.
1. How long does it (on average) take to get to level 50? Say I play a little more often than casual (i'd say 2-3 hours a day, maybe more)
2. What is there to do at 50?
3. How good is PvP?
4. Are there any servers I should avoid?
So thanks for any/all help!
P.S. Feel free to talk about anything that might help me bring me back here!
2. Without knowing what the game had the last time you played We really can't say how much more has been added since then, but we are expecting some more new stuff when GR gets released like the Incarnate system which will make level 50's even more powerful.
3. Pretty much dead.
4. That's based on personal preference, and if you play on the EU or NA servers. EU only has 4 choices. Some people prefer low pop servers while others prefer high pop servers like Freedom and Virtue. Also it depends on which faction your playing. Redside has always had a significantly lower pop than blueside, and when GR comes out there will be a lot of hustle and bustle as people start moving characters from one faction to the other.
Hope that helps you make up your mind. -

I understand that. I'm just saying that if the feature is going to have a cost then it should be within the grasp of all types of players.

At least you are honest about what you are suffering from.
Semantics.Quote:I never once said I was attacked, I said the post was attacked.
Several times by different people.Quote:In the end. I got my answer.
No that was only part of what you said.Quote:And I never said I never use the Search, I said I found it pathetic.
You made it perfectly clear you have no intention of using the Search feature.Quote:Because frankly I find the search feature on here pathetic so if I have a question I ask and I don't care how often its been asked before.
Highly unlikely. It's my impression you'll keep trying to get the last word in.Quote:The end. -
Quote:Thanks for sharing Adeon. I wasn't aware of the last Q&A. On the bright side GF said there were no plans at the moment. That means there's hope they may consider it at some point in the future. They stated in the last Q&A that they aren't planning to increase the number of slots per server.

Quote:To be fair JRanger wasn't banned until after the incident where He who shall not be named and KittyKrusader went on that childish rampage and went thru every thread they could find over the weekend and filed petitions on each and every single post made by anyone that disagreed with whatever the original OP was suggesting.(that's why JRanger was banned--his long responses to the same suggestions got shorter every time they came up again, until he eventually started saying "no" to everything), but the explanations for why this idea (in the form suggested by the OP) is not optimal have already been presented, debated and discussed.
Those two pissed off Ex Libris and the mods so much that they got themselves banned and the entire Suggestions and Ideas forum moved down to the For Fun section as punishment. -
Quote:TBH someone crying and leaving doesn't do anyone any good whatsoever - well, other than whatever sadistic shadenfreude some people may feel.
It certainly doesn't do the game any good, unless the leavers are the sort of people who grief others and cause them (the griefed) to leave.
I rarely understand ideas being shot down in just the /unsigned manner this has been (by many). If an idea is bad point out why. If it is bad overall but has some merit then does it hurt to say so, or explore variations? I'm pretty sure that the OP didn't post just to see if they could annoy other posters...
If you are unaware of it, this happens to be one of the very few suggestions that the devs have come right out and told us will never happen. -
Quote:Never been sure if I'd welcome an increase in the number of alts per server, as it possibly means that the population is lower than it used to be and so there's more space per account for characters...
Of course it could mean they've increased the storage available or now store characters more efficiently... But I'm from Europe - we do doom and whine pretty darn well.
I'm not sure I agree with the logic that increasing the number of characters we can create on a server means less people are playing. I'd have to see some hard numbers to be convinced.
