LOL then you need to put a few years on. Putting someone on ignore and then using it to antagonize them is dispicable. Anyone that does that deserves the ridicule they receive.

If you can't fathom why here is the short form. The act of putting someone on ignore, is little but a personal admission of lack of self control. Going the further and blatantly advertising it, is both obnoxious and arrogant. They get what they deserve.

I've dealt with Alt in the past, and his views are extremely twisted to say the least. I wouldn't be surprised if he has half the forums on ignore. I know he has me on ignore, but knowing someone has me on ignore will not stop me from posting what I believe to be right, if not expressing my opinions and views to him, then to anyone else who reads it, and then let them decide.

To assume that everyone deserved what they got is loony, yet it's what Alt believes.

And if I was the only person posting in all of the CoH forums, I would agree with you in this situation, however, that is not the case ... Other people can read my posts, which is why is see it totally (vulcan moment) illogical to use the ignore feature on the boards. You miss bits of an argument, or important information. There are people on this board I absoultly loathe, but I will never put them on ignore for this reason.

Some would argue otherwise. I agree with you if it's fun. But your rewards are still increased.

You can farm radio missions by using fill ... I've done it ...

I would love to join you smurphy. As for difficult missions, I think I got one for you. It may be a bug though, so I need to hear back if it is or not.

Any maps with alot of defendable objects will be very very hard. I'll be on a little later tonight, I'll send you a tell to your @ name with a couple arcs I enjoy running.

I farmed a toon to 50 using comm officers in a little over 14 hours. Still got him too, and playing him alot. When he hit level 50, I had 250mil influence on him from cashing in tickets after every comm officer run.

Nothing happened to me ...

The fact that Comm Officers are considered exploits is laughable. especially after they made it known they were potentially exploits 2 weeks after they've been out. By the time they said they were exploits, I had a level 50. This will always be the Dev's mistake that they blamed on the player base.

Comm Officers were broken, but they weren't exploits. They had to be fixed, but not retroactivly, and it's going to cost them subscriptions. I15 is their chance to get more subscribers, but with people leaving now, they are probably going to just break even again, like they did when ED came out the same time as CoV.

FF is crazy fun to level up the normal way ... I played FF/NRG and it was like playing pool everytime I played. The only issue I have with it is force bolt and power push. Force Bolt is Tier 3 and Power Push is Tier 7, and they do exactly the same thing. With a 4 tier difference, power push needs some damage added to it ....

Not a job, but I would be bored with the toon before it hit 50 if it took that long, and then go and start another toon that would probably never make it to 50. At that point, I would find a different MMO.

The way it is now is perfect for me. Hit level 50 in a month, and have time to enjoy the toon at it's peak performance. After a few months of playing it, I'll start a new character and repeat with new powersets. As long as new powersets continue to appear, there's no problem. The Ice/SS tank I made during the AE deboccle I can see myself playing for a very long time, since it is also a PvP toon. I have a fire/kin I made almost a year ago, and I will never be tired of him.

The point is, whether it takes you 500 hours, or 60 hours to make a level 50 toon, this game supports both. That's one of the things that makes this game great, and shouldn't be changed.

Maybe the Devs should make those useless kiosks have game information, similar to what the wiki has? Click on a kiosk would provide a menu-driven help section about everything in the game. I'd prefer game information to be available IN the game, not outside it.

175 hour to me is insanly long to spend on things I've already done. I'd go mad. I think the longest it's taken me, other than my first couple toons, has been about 60 hours (roughly 30 days).

Edit: Keep in mind I generally play the toon for 2-3 months after it's hit 50.

If that's all you think this game is, why are you playing? I've gotten a toon to level 50 about 2 months ago. Guess what, I'm still playing the level 50 toon ritually for the last 2 months. I have 2 hours at the most per night to play this game, sometimes less. On the weekend, it's even harder to get playing time cause I don't work on the weekends, and I like to spend time with family then.

When I play Co* it's me time. I will play how I want to play. I have several low characters, and I don't play them because I've done all of that stuff already. Maybe when I get tired of playing my level 50's I may get around to my lower level characters again.
