    Just an idea....

I'm in, but my computer might explode.
  15. I always feel somewhat cheated when my corrupter does more support to the team than it does for me. Which is probably why alot of villians don't play pain for long. In villians there is a greater push to be able to solo then team. While heroes tend to team then solo, or never team.

That being said, I have a fire/pain but I like all of my other corr's more (/sonic, /rad, /kin) because they provide buffs to me as well of the team. With the exception of the sonic's shields and toggle.
  16. I would go with sonic, it does alot of damage and has some nice support in the primary. For example sirens song, while being a sleep if you are careful with you're AoE's you won't have to worry about the whole mob killing you at once.
  17. I have an elec/dev and I almost never nuke when I solo. Only in an "OH CRAP that mob was WAY bigger than I thought!" moments.

However on a team I nuke almost as often as it is up. Because it does a decent amount of damage and end drain is ftw. To counter act my end drain I just make sure I have two or three blues and then I'm back in action instantly.

Reasons I wouldn't nuke every time I can on a team include.

    1) More than one blaster, there's no point in both blasters nuking the same mob. I have seen four blasters sequentially nuke a mob when the mob has been all but dead after the 2nd.

    2) If my nuke does massive knockback or causes them to scatter, elec doesn't really cause this but blizzard and nuke do.

    Your Blasters...

    Electric/Devices!

My first and favorite toon. I can't think of ever running into someone else with this build before.
  19. I would go with sonic/dev taking sirens song, for easiest solo. But with sirens song slotted properly, the damage in the sonic set and other benefits you should be able to solo just fine with any secondary.
  20. As a blaster who has a tank, I don't hate kb. I hate that one in ten KB that will run into the middle of the group and spread 15 bad guys into the four corners of the room before I have gathered them against a wall.

Which can be avoided 100% avoided.

The only other thing I would suggest you be aware of with KB is the posibility for knocking something through the wall in a cave map. Espcially if what you are attacking is the mission objective. Not blaming KB for that just stating that they have to be aware that that can happen.

About 4 in 10 toons have had this problem. I have not found a common demoninator among them
I don't think that is supposed to happen. At least I can't remember it as something that is supposed to happen. Did you try over different log in periods? Do you already have the temp power version? (not that I think that should mater).

That is the best description for a blaster I have ever seen! It lists all of the reasons I love my elec/dev. Yes, I said elec <_>
Anyway I don't want to resay everything because basically all my blaster advice is what has already been said.

    1) Blasters aren't for everyone
    2) Every blaster is different in order to really play it you have to play it and figure out what works best for you.
    3) Inspirations are your friend (but no amount of inspirations will replace commonsense in game play)

In addition I'd like to add three things

    1) The difference between blasters and scrappers is scrappers can afford to be a frog (leap before you look) but a blaster is more of a toad. You have to know what you're jumping into or you'll end up dead to fast do anything.
    2) You will die, as my friend Phoenix of Syrinx always says "Rise of the Phoenix is part of my attack chain." This is especially true when you're figuring out what works best for your build. Once you are in sync with your blaster you can stay alive while being useful on an mstf then turn around and be 80 of the 82 deaths on an ITF.
    3) If you don't like the uber squishy of the blaster but you want to do the mass range damage try a corrupter. A Corrupter played properly can keep itself alive, through self buffs and debuffs.
  23. Or rather have MA have it's own box/email system for reviews attached to the global name, one that you access through the MA on any toon, where your reviews are saved for easy future reference.

Other than that I would love to see allow options on my email, but at the same time I know the spammers would find some new and exciting way to get their message across.

Thank you! That was essentially what I was trying to say but I had no idea how to say it properly.
