The further adventures of Red Rag.
Dinged 21. May have done so while incredibly drunk so apologies to anyone who teamed with me on Friday night.
Consume now recharges faster so even less downtime between mobs. Mooohaha!

Fairly sure I gave out invite priveleges to everyone level Henchman or above (that means you Red Rag!) to make my life easier
[/ QUOTE ]
Darn, foiled again! -

Who can i spam-tell to get an invite?
[/ QUOTE ]
That would be Twisted Feather!
I think Red Rag can fiddle with the base but not sure if I actually have invite privileges. -

Thematically, Clockwork are quite different from standard robots - and I fail to see how anyone other than the Clockwork King could manipulate them.
[/ QUOTE ]
Just because they look like clockwork doesn't mean they work like clockwork..
They could also be easily reskinned to look different so it was clear that they are henchies rather than real clockwork. My main point was that there was an existing resource that could be used to offer Robot MMs 3 different classes of robot (standard, clockwork or council). -
Yes to recreds for Focus Chi and PB, although PB only needs 2 SOs to be perma (I have 3 in my build). Would recommend taking quickness and esp. Focus Chi sooner. Otherwise, its looking good!
-
Clockwork could easily be re-used as an alternative robot set as there are already plenty of variants. Council probably also has enough with basic mech men and the assorted mech men bosses (or even the hoverbot!).

The further adventures of Red Rag.
Got second costume slot along with a bunch of debt while hunting family in Sharkhead. Not 21 yet but a couple more missions should do it. New improved Red Rag will be on sometime over the weekend once I get my new PC up and running - bwuhahahaMOOOO!

Defence toggles only really need one endred. Use the second one to add status effects back into your attacks. Combat jumping doesn't need an endred either so also put that somewhere else.
Possibly switch elude and focused accuracy, unless planning to go up against high level enemies - not recommended until I7.
Conserve power needs another recred. -
I'd recommend taking quickness much earlier and evasion as soon as it becomes available. This probably means pushing out an attack or two until later, or even elude (I only took it at 41). With quickness you can skip swift and it also speeds up your attacks so no problems with your attack chain even if you pushed one or two out till later. Endurance might be a problem until you get stamina, but won't be afterwards.

The further adventures of Red Rag.
Finally got his cape after SG mates pointed out that the darned Eagles guarding the statues that you need to kill to trigger the Super have a bad habit of flying off. Had cleared about 90% of the map before finding this out. Ah well, getting close to level 21.
Faceplanted in Sharkhead with Twisted who is still having problems with his graphics card.
'Oh look, Ghost of Scrapyard'
'I can't see him!'
I'm attacking him now' [faceplants]
'All I can see are miners' -
AFAIK, Plasma shield does not protect against knockback (my /fire brute certainly gets knocked across the screen every now and then). This is the main reason for /FIRE tanks and brutes to take acrobatics.
-
Had fun helping Twisted Feather with his aura missions rather than doing Red Rag's cape mission. Note that the second mission is a BIG one, but had the consolation of a nice Elite Boss as well as an amusingly bugged CoT boss called 'CoT 43').
It did run a bit later than intended and when we exited Twisted couldn't see me, so couldn't blag any free stoof.
on another topic, in order to recruit more members from the coalition, we came up with the plan of tempting them using the 1AT chat channel. So if you are on as a villain add this channel and send tempting messages to the weak-willed heroes to come to the Rogue Isles. Bwuhahah! MOOOO! -
I'm regularly on with Flitz as I creep ever closer to the big 5-0. I think I can invite so give me a shout if you see me on-line.
-
Gratz D! You zoomed past Lead and while Flitz managed to tank a couple of AVs with you, he only managed to go from 42-43 while you went from 30-50.
Good luck with Double-D and hopefully I'll get one toon to 50 before you get your third. -
I tend to post on the Rangers thread as that one is the busiest. Also, it was Lead Hose who joined the 1AT first, with Flitz only switching to Team GBH later. However, Flitz is my main and creeping ever closer to 50 - dinged 43 at the weekend. Will keep an eye on this thread too and try to keep it off page 50.
-
Red Rag dinged 20 and now has Consume - no more resting between mobs - the art of SMASH! is now mine. 2nd costume and cape still to come.
Nanotetrix had some fun teaming with Silent Feather and PowerCore last night although I think poor Silent was struggling to keep up with the 6 bots. -
Barrage easily replaces brawl for fury generation.
Energy Punch is a basic attack - possibly the least exciting of the bunch.
Bone smasher is crunchy!
Whirling Hands is your PBAoE and not to be missed.
Total Focus just is!
Stun is the one you could miss as it's a stun rather than damage dealer.
Energy Transfer costs you some health but does huge amounts of damage. -
Flitz can invite to Team GBH as I somehow managed to get myself promoted.
Dark Neo and Seeing Red are leaders, IIRC. -
Agree with what others have said already:
- no more than three ehnancements of same type in any power
- slot attacks with 1 acc and 1 endred first
- take acrobatics earlier
Will add that blazing aura sucks endurance so would slot it with 2-3 endreds, 1 acc and then damage. Even with lots of endred DOs slotted, my lvl 19 nrg/fire brute still runs out of endurance ALL the time. -
No binds yet, but Red Rag's battle cry and LFT message are both: MOOOOOOO!!!
-
I didn't take taunt on Red Rag, but I am taking the presence pool.
'He was at least 8ft tall with horns sticking out his head! And he was on fire! Too right, I was scared!' -
I usually play 7-11 UK time when I can get on. Haven't been on as Red Rag recently though as was pushing Flitz to 42 and then trying to get a couple of levels on my defender for tomorrow night's SNHS base raid/arena fight. Now that you are back playing Twisted I will look to get Red Rag out if only to scrounge for some free stoof!
