Quote:As would Pigtails Fat, Shimmer, Divine, Beverly Thrills... even Honey, which is possibly among the best thematically, is really large in back and looks worrisome. I hope at least that one is okay.Oh damnit, you're right. And SuperFoxxy would have looked amazing on a bubbled spacegirl.
Quote:Yeah. I really wish they would start adding head details to multiple categories to allow greater range of customization.
All my character have facial hair (unless they're wearing opaque helmets or details that cover their faces), just as I do in real life (Used to be I just didn't like shaving, now I've gotten to the point where I hate my face without my beard).
If they at least had some attractive male faces with stubble hint hint then it'd be less of a buzzkill.
Still holding out for a set of sideburns that are either a face detail 1 or attached to a non-ridiculously-styled hair, so they can be combined with the goatee I already have and I can stop faking by use of the Roman mask pattern and a completely-covered top half of the face... -
I have something that may interest you. If you see this post, send me a PM.
-
So I noticed something odd:
I don't think this hair, seen here on Grant Creston but also appearing on the ghost in the DA intro mission, is available in the tailor. Why is this? It's like the Parted hair we already have, but on the other side and nicer. I'd like it please. -
-
Quote:Presence of hair shouldn't have anything to do with that. Dink said the bubble is a Detail 2 under Standard, which means that at the moment it can't be used with hats, but there is nothing stopping it from also being available as a Detail 2 under Hats.Gonna say no. I don't think that if there is hair under it, like right there, it would be possible for them to add the hat.
Yes, there would be clipping with some hats, but there would also be clipping with some hair (no way does a large afro fit under that bubble any better than the Renegade hat does!) so I don't see why we should have one and not the other.
The only downside to having it as a detail 2 is that means that all bubble headed spacemen must be clean-shaven -
I can't believe nobody brought this up before. I support this idea wholeheartedly.

Huzzah!
...man, I need to get drawing too. An SGmate of mine has been pretty bummed lately and I'm hoping some art will make him feel better, but I've been lazy... -
Quote:I lol'd HARD, but your meter was a little off - not enough syllables in the last line. Here, I fixed it for you. Still not perfect with the inflections, but at least it's the right length now. Seriously, though, good limerick; it deserves to be perfected.A Limerick Ode to Statesman
There once was a hero from Paragon,
Whose presence seems now to be frowned upon.
As his splash screen displayed,
He screamed, much dismayed,
"What happened? My nads! OMG they're uh... GONE!"
Meanwhile, my own contribution drawn from T. S. Eliot:
Macavity's a Mystery Cat: he's called the Hidden Paw--
For he's the master criminal who can defy the Law.
He's the bafflement of Freedom Corps, the Midnight Squad's despair:
For when they reach the login screen...
...I think you see where I'm going with this. -
Oh wow, you're even worse off than I am in the regard of wishing you could write your own dialogue... and I play a Midnighter who's old enough to have met the Dream Doctor before he disappeared. Wow. Dat name.

I want this:

Right, forgot about the hold proc... well, since I'm planning on testing all this on beta before I commit to buying it on live, I'll see if I can swing that, because I do love the hold proc in my Gravity controller's Crushing Field, maybe try some damage procs in Night Fall and Sharks too and see if I can still have enough endurance to function. If not I think I will probably take the Explosive Strike proc out of Gale to add endredux to Steamy Mist.
This is what I'll be trying out:

Quote:Nope. I did notice that, and toggled it off. 20 seconds doesn't seem that bad to me, but like I said I still needed to actually look at the math, so thanks for doing that for me.Here I suspect that you have made a common mids mistake of looking at numbers with Gale toggled on.
Thanks for the info on Hibernate, I've never used it before so didn't know what to expect! -
Quote:The real fix would be to add a catch animation.Whadya mean 'doggie pals'? This is in reference to other players in Coyote or Panther forms. There was never any real animation for the Coyote to catch it. The dog sort of trapped it against the ground and whimpered as the disc immediately disappeared: not a catch at all. The panther was getting the disc embedded in its butt and screamed.
So yes, it is a *fix*.
What four legged critters were you throwing the disc to and they actually caught it?
Also, wait, why hadn't I heard we got a Panther form? -
From the patch notes:
"Flying Disc can no longer be used on characters that have shape shifted using a travel power like the Coyote Travel Power."
WAIT.
WHAT.
WHAT IS THIS.
You take away our ability to throw frisbees to our doggie pals, and call it a FIX?
WHYYYYYYY? -
Looked at Draggynn's helpful guide... how does this look? I don't think I have the slots to put into the stuns so I didn't take them, but hopefully the -ToHit from Dark Blast and Hurricane will be able to fill in that gap if I can Gale/Hurricane them into a wall. I'm fine with use of knockback; I have three Gravity toons and one of them is Grav/Energy so I've gotten pretty used to it. I've also proc'd out Freezing Rain rather than slotting for max recharge, but it's down pretty close to Draggynn's suggested recharge time of 15 seconds anyway, but I concede it might still be worth doing some math over it to see if replacing the smashing or lethal proc with more recharge is a good idea especially if it stacks with itself.
I haven't tried it, of course, so I have no idea if my endurance problems will continue or if the damage will increase sufficiently that I don't get impatient waiting for things to fall down, but I've at least squeezed in all the powers that I know I like. I still don't know what I'm doing, precisely, so does anyone else see any glaring oversights in this?

Thanks, that'll probably help some.
-
Adddendum: I am told that Dark/Storm/Leviathan's strengths lie in "ruining faces." This is contrary to my observations of what Seasquall seems best at, which is "running out of endurance and doing almost no damage." Clearly I am doing something wrong.
-
Quote:Oh, definitely. Pretty costume parts you got there. It would be a shame if anything... HAPPENED to them.I hope you get this all sorted out. Sounds like something they can eventually fix if you present them with enough info. It does indeed suck that they let these things become that confused like this.
For what it's worth this is why I'll never "take advantage" of buying things piecemeal. I realize that by continuing to buy things as complete packs that there are probably going to be things that I'm paying for that I'll never use. Still I'd rather give the company an extra few dollars here or there if it'll help me avoid the kinds of trouble you ran into. *shrugs* -
I originally used Cardiac for my Fortunata, who without alpha did have endurance issues, all the way up to t4, and later built up to t4 Agility as well. Agility is working great for me with the build I have, though it does have a fair number of recovery bonuses from its sets, so take that as you will.
-
I don't think the monetary value of a purchased item should be relevant when that item is taken away wrongfully.
-
That chibi looks great, Tartyrsause - good subject matter, too.
-
Quote:Yes, and Magnolia did say that she bought the heels themselves, and did not buy the shirt, in her OP. The GM who said she bought the shirt and got them that way was wrong. She should contact customer service because this is honestly outrageous.Sounds to me like if you bought the shirt but did not specifically purchase the heels as well then you did not actually pay for the item you lost.
If you specifically DID purchase the heels as well, I'd say you have cause for legitimate complaint. If you got them as a result of a bug when you bought the shirt(as the GM is inferring), it's a different story. -
Don't forget use of Long Range Teleport, departing from Cimerora or Recluse's Victory.
Oh, and Echo goes by Professor, not Doctor, btw.
Also:
-
This set is looking fantastic and I will definitely be buying at least some of it - I may even buy all of it, just to show my support for how great it is, even though I don't have an immediate use for everything.
-
Right, so I have this alt because I got the name 'Seasquall' and built a totally rad costume for her, but I'm level 35 and I still feel like I haven't gotten the hang of it... I've gained no insight from guides; all the dark-blast-storm-summoning guides are for Defenders and also really old, and there are no Storm guides for Corruptors at all. I've also never taken Leviathan mastery on ANY character yet, Corruptor or not, but the whole 'ocean will kill you' theme I'm going with is really nudging me towards being able to call in the sharks, even though they might be redundant with the previous super-awesome ability to release the kraken (tenebrous tentacles) that I don't want to give up because I've already put it in art.
Basically, what am I doing here, and how can I do it fairly inexpensively? This is a villain so I don't have many people to play with, so I don't log on with her often; I just want to do reasonably well when I am on her.
