The guy have a concept for a character that's going to be very good. Telling him not to do it just because another character is better doesn't make sense. If the guy wanted a FoTM character, he'd just have checked the last 395485984358 posts about it.

Harper's Island isn't cancelled, it's just at another "less good" airing time. Next time, try to post more clearly instead for just shooting a list.

2. Take a power that can take KB IOs and slot four kinetic crash in it. If you don't want to waste one of your "good" powers, take kick from fighting, or Rise of the Pheonix (you'll wait a long time though =X) If not, the karma or steadfast special -KB IO. It's a bit costy, but you should be able to find 5-10 mil for at least this one. Just be patient.

3. Taunt is your number one power to skip. Aside from that, i'd skip one of the aoe (whirling mace) or bash, depending if you want aoe or ST damage.

For /fire, everything outside of fire shield, plasma shield and healing flame is skippable. But i wouldn't skip more then 1-2 powers. They are all very good and usefull. (only one i skipped on my FA is the damage aura, cause my character is ST oriented)

I suspect it would be very good, specialy for ST, wich is what you want.

EM is still very good, unless you obsolutly want to be the "omg bestest set evah!!!" or saw your favorite character get nerfed.

Fire doesn't really have problems with alpha. It have good resistance and if you use the heal just after it, you'll be full again. By then, your team should have helped you. ( if you're trying to solo a 8 man team alone.... it's obvious that a ST character would have problem =P )

There's a difference between communicating and using obvious DPA or making out though.

Let's use a very extreme exemple: Most people don't have something against heterosexuality. A lot would be against two 16 years old making out very indencetly in the cafeteria in front od the 11 years old. Just a little kiss or hug would be accepted but if the guy have his hand under the girl's skirt and he's eating her cleavage in front of everyone, that's a very different story.

Theorically, someone could mention in his/her testament that they want there body is now the propriety of there lover and that they can engage in "h0tz dead secks". And it would be a conscenting adult. =P

For the big "do animals have soul" debats, we'd have to check at who "invented" the term first. If it's a religion that say that animals don't have it, then they don't. Maybe in reality they do have "something exactly like a soul", but it's not a "soul" cause the ones who created it (and the word) decided what it is.

For the OP. Yes they could kick you for that. Just like they can kick you because you aren't a defender, because you skipped X power, because you like pie or because one of his friend logged on. The "rule" in CoX is that the leader can kick whoever he wants for whatever reasons or absence of reasons he wants. That doesn't mean i aggree with kicking gay. The DPA though, is something i would kick people for if i'm in a bad mood.

It's always funny how people act as if X fetish is better then Y. Some people mention bestiality as if it was horrible, but if you don't hurt the animal and don't force it, how is it any worst then homosexuality or the other fetishes? Think of people luring animals into licking them with food. It's pretty conscenting of the animal. Likewise, people seem to think it's okay for a 70 years old to date someone 18 years old. Yet they find horrible if they hear about a 20 years old dating a fully conscenting( not legally obsviously, but you get my point) and mature 15 years old.

That's the second time someone say that in this post. And it's far from true. With normal recharge, you'll do extremely less damage then a perma-hasten purple build. The more recharge is almost always sure to increase the damage output, since you can spam your best attacks a lot more.

So, yes you'll be far from it's peak . =P

I understand it's annoying and i'd feel exactly the same if i had an SoA... but why restrict yourself?

You could always make the two build and save the two costume. In normal play, when you have the time, you could play any you want. If you're in a TF and can,t change the costume, no worries. It's what you'd be doing presently, not changing build. But at least, you get to play both at other times. ( or you could do something like 1 week each before switching again)

While i love the buffs it got, it wasn't enough "a weakess" set into one of the best. =P

The new IOs also helped a lot depending on the build.

So far i'm liking it. Wich is weird cause i usually don't like when people use signature heroes/villains in there story. They always seem to find a way to make them sound the complete oposite of what i imagine. But you, on the other hand, picture them similar to how i do.

One thing though. Mu Striker doesn't heal. I've had it for a while on my brute. So you'll be able to remove that part. :P (I know some people my take mu just for that)

That's the costume i use for my Mu character. The mask and belt are like that for IC reason. I think the Mu NPCs don't have any belt and you can only get the helm from the pre-order edition.

So buckled leather for the top with spiked shoulder and ring strap. Chaos leather for the buttom. Wraps for gloves and feets. Blend for the long cape.(black at the buttom)

And you have my vote for it. That story was just so awesome. It touched me even more since i love melee ATs. You really made it sound epic, what being a scrapper is about.
I'm also very glad that you made all the secondary looks even, like if they were all almost as powerfull from each others. (regen having a bit of an edge...but he did jump on a wounded GM =P)

Reasons for villains to fight:
All the greedy villains must fight since if WoW conquer us, paper money stop having value.
All those with a vendetta against one group won't want WoW to eliminate that group. No KS. =P
All those who want to be the strongest/scariest will try the new challenge to prove there might.
All the villains with a loved one will want to protect him/her.
etc.

And the two most important: I might be a villain , but it's still my world and i'll make sure it's stay like it is.
All those who sworn allegience to Lord Recluse (wich should be at least half) will fight cause Recluse ain't sharing.



Now can we get back to receiving the 3th part or a new story from someone else. =D
