Well what can I say that hasnt already been said.....

First....My thoughts and best wishes to all the Staff of NCSoft that have been shafted at this most unfortunate of times or anytime.

I hope I can speak for the rest of the community in wishing you all the best for the future and thank you for all your work and dedication on behalf of all those who have enjoyed the City Of experience.

Secondly.......to NCSoft/Norcal or what ever brand, trade mark you are hiding behind these days......You have seriously, royally and utterly demonstrated a staggering ammount of arrogance and publics relations incompetence that truely beggers belief. I can understand your reorganising your business model ( such a harsh phrase when it affects actual people ) but to alienate your customer base ??????? Your pr guy/gal/team should be marched out and given a short stand up against a sunny wall with a brief cigarette.

Personally I do not think your "business model" will stand much more of such inaction. Do not try and hide behind EU HR laws, we have unfortunately seen far too many economic disasters recently to know that as a lie.The news headlines constantly report.
Do not use the excuse that you are not saying anything for the benefit of the staff affected you have already demonstrated that you are prepared to kick them in the teeth for your own sake..."I'm all right Jack" eh

And to our American gamer cousins....feel safe and settled ?
started looking over your shoulder yet ? I have a horrible feeling that this staggering disregard for paying subscribers has not finished yet

Looking for another MMO ? GW2 seem like a good idea ? still havent learnt yet have you

Donna.....taken this one to pms as we arent allowed to discuss spefic accounts on Forums. Please check your pm queue.

Unfortunately in this case there is only 1 viable target as the 2nd account is sitting deep in the hero/villain base unable to be squished.

To give them their due the operator of this dual account system seems highly skilled in tactical assessment of situational pvp and tps out of danger on a consistantly succesful basis before they can be overwhelmed. I can understand other players frustrations when they are challenged or attacked but then recognise that the encounter can only end with a stalemate or defeat for them as the toon will disappear as they get the upper hand or prepare to deliver the coup de gras only to have the toon disappear into thin air.

As others have said a valid tactic in team pvp but to me at least seems an excercise that proves only on thing when they claim to be running solo......that they run a 2nd account.

Everytime I step into a pvp zone I expect one of 3 things, I win, I loose or we reach an honourable draw (as my ice tank and the fire brute I fought recently agreed). I do not think "oh my god I going to loose this...oh the shame....the shame...better di di mao out of here tout suite"

NB. My pvp record is appalling, I think I must of set my badge title to "give me a kicking, get your free rep points here" but I have fun

I think what MM is referring to here is when a player uses a second account to stand in the base and do nothing but act as a buff bot and emergency teleporter. 1 player, 2 toons, sends uberness pvp toon into the fray, gets in a wee bit over its head, health starts droping to below acceptable levels, start retreat, alt tab to tp bot, recall friend back to base, alt tab back to main toon, start taunting on BC about how great they are as no ones ever been able to kill that toon.

Seen it in RV, Sirens not sure about WB.

Whats also annoying is in RV the 2nd account nicks a heavy and just stands there with it doing nowt thus depriving one person of it use

Ice / Kin troller with ID

Rad / Psi defender

Claws / Regen scrapper with fly

Eng / Eng blaster

Sonic /Sonic defender with Clarity and Sonic dispersion

Again my thanks to the team for taking a LRSF virgin along with em and for the superb buffing and aggroing. Really enjoyed it, though I aint ever going to be able to look at a cream egg the same way again Tam !!!

From my experience you must not have more than 1 open story arcs before you speak to Maria. If you have started the missions from maria while still having 2 arcs open then clear an arc and go back to Maria she does not open her arc.

Thats my personal experience from doing Maria on 9 alts at her level. The only time she gave me the Statemans Pal mission was when I started the arc with a free arc slot available. Retrospectively completing and old arc and going back to Maria half way through her missions has not opened the arc or given me the rescuse Statesman.

This has caused me a few "ohhhhhh shhhhh......uuuugggaarrr"
moments when I have started the arc without actually checking I was clear of old arcs

No worries Lycon. If it makes you feel any better, once we'd reorganised to compensate for your absence and we'd got our act together for Dr Aeon we blew through the TF and finished it in about 3 and a half hours with complete success. Pity about the DC hope you have more luck.

Seconded.. Wholely agree with Stryker.

When I was levelling my sonic/sonic defender to 50 there were teams that didnt appreciate you but sure as hell missed you once you had left them. Part of the bias comes from the bad graphics that the set has been stuck with and some reports that the strobing effects were causing players distress. Now in the forth coming issue 10 there is a graphical change which not only should remove the distress problems but also make the powers more visable so that team members go "cool ive been bubbled". Find a warshade or peacebringer who plays in dwarf form / human form, shield em,buff em, debuff the enemys and pretty soon theyll wont want to go anywhere without a sonic

On a more general note, play with what you enjoy. Try it. If you dont like it, burn it, if you do then play. Your account, your money, your time
