At some point in the future, I *will* get code support to eliminate the problem. In the meantime, if people are abusing this loophole (it's an exploit but not an "Exploit" -- GM's and petitions won't do anything about it at this time) I suggest that you blacklist their team and simply do not engage them in PvP.
For the PvE folks reading this, no, Vengeance is not meant to stack in PvE, either and the change, when it happens, will apply in those encounters as well.

I realize its an "exploit" now but the fact that getting in stacked, particularly in large scale pvp matches, I don't think hurts the game. I remember when I first started joined LD you couldnt pay someone to stay dead, as they would always hit the respawn button forgetting to stay dead for me to get vengance off, being able to stay dead/gather/and time a buff to me takes practice/cooperation/ and maybe a bit of luck. Its on par with a good spike or a great rush and nuke of the opposing team. Thats my opinion anyways, not like the change will affect my 1 vs 1 action. Though the pre-vengance stacking before a match is quite wrong, even if you fix the stacking, one vengance pre-match is just as wrong. -
name sounds so familiar to me but cant put a toon or group to his name. Sucks to hear it though, unfortunately life is one game we all lose at one point or another sometimes way too soon for some.

Well...... If their was ever any movie which is a must see to see on Imax it would be this one. The battle scenes are unbelieveable the whole movie is just eye candy. So if you ever thought viewing a movie in Imax was worth the trip at all this would be in that category. Its looks so good though and its a good movie that just go see it, nuff said.

Yeah I confused you guys with Hell's Army, it would have been nice to see Tribute and any other of the first few pvp sg's compete in the what has become a pretty competitive landscape of pvp groups although small in numbers. I would have even like to have seen Penance stick around 2 more months so LD could have fought them after the Freaks. Though it seems the lure of the basketweaving/jelly bean gathering is too strong for most.
On a sidenote, I recommend to anyone to go see the movie 300, the movie is unbelievable, the fight scenes unreal and it even sticks to what is mostly historical truth. Saw it on an Imax this morning well worth the trip and time. -
Well Sing can make this claim. He was by far the best pvper of the best pvp sg over the past few months in Lions Den. Other sg's would gameplan around him. Founder of the Hell Raisers didnt LD fight you and how did that go for you guys.

Hey Doc, will their be any drops for pvp related activities. Like could you trade bounty in SC for a drop the more bounty you get a different category becomes available. You could work it into other zones with a few adjustments? You collect the meteor pieces in BB you get to choose between a shivan or a drop, RV 1000 temporal points get a drop instead of a crappy longbow mech pet, WB launch a missle choose between the temp or a drop. Make it interesting except for the bounty idea for SC, the other zones their could be a small chance the drop comes from one of the better catergories.

Or just remove the Story Arc pool from the last levels in exactly the same way as the Trial pool is removed from the first levels!

Thats a pretty good idea. Keep the higher level drops to the 3 categories. -
I dont have a problem for the most part with what you are saying, except Im still with most about the whole some you can only get from story arcs. Ive already done all the story arcs for COH and COV and play this game primarily to pvp when their is pvp to be had. When you say rare and unfortunately you say all the costumes pieces and whatnot are available without story arcs, then to me your saying the more powerful sets the ones which the pvpers will want to outfit their toons with those are the ones which willbe the ones story arcs are needed. The majority of pvpers hate the grind as is, since its all stuff weve done ten fold/nothing new is being added except the States tf. Just give in a bit and make them rewards for TFs or trials. Get rid of this story arc aspect, is doing an 8 hour shard tf not enough to be able to get any one of the rarer drops.

Long and the short of it, while there are some small PvP thingies getting some attention (like _Castle_ posting about Brute Fury in PvP a few days ago) there are not any big PvP issues on the nearer term feature lists.

Posi, I along with others here have a problem with length a group gets to keep an IOP before a reset. Belonging to a pvp group with a large base we have found it hard enough to continually grow our base while paying the monthly rent. With the short window which an IOP is around for before it resets it's pretty impratical to spend 100k in prestige for an opportunity to raid for an item for a bonus that will only be around for a few weeks. I hear alot about other pve groups talking how their "forced" into pvp, well pvpers are being forced into grinding pve content for prestige to just be able to raid. The prestige loss of items in base isn't so much a concern as I know the base items are difficult to destroy and their are ways to get the recovery close or to 100%, and lets face it, your sg is responsible for your base and its defense. However the short time before the IOP's reset and not knowing what IOP/IOPs your are raiding for, well it does nothing to encourage what could be great pvp content.
