Not much you can do, Anobaca is correct, a second sg for your daughter might be fun for her.

The other thing you can do is start to work on the reputation of the sg you have. Let people know the old guard is gone and you are the new management.

I have never heard of the devs granting an sg name change but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

I have always loved Atlas Park, feels better than downtown Toronto, wish we had the more open parks. I spent 1 1/2 years here in Atlas 2-4 hours a day everyday and i really like it here. It really does feel like home, i want an apartment looking down on the park, you know the big building those VDO ppl took over. I also like Steel Canyon and Crotoa.

In regards to Laxx, if you want to get the mission done fast, everything you need is in Crey's Folley, well above lvl 20 range so having help is a good thing. Yes you can solo it at level 20 without enhancements but that way is a real pain. For someone new and not aware of what villians are in what zones i still stand by what i said!
In regards to Kingsbury, yes anyone can do what i do, but most people do not think about how it can be done and say it is impossible. I solo a lvl 54 Rommy with my lvl 50 dark defender and yes i could do it unenhanced (i just happen to know how).
I think it would be a good idea to actually help the OP instead of insulting other ppl.

Mod08 and i have had this debate in other posts, i was pressuring to have IoP's and base raiding restored but i have been told they want to work on NEW content that everyone can enjoy so IoP's are definately on the backburner.

I can understand that so i am no longer pushing for the IoP's since NCSoft already has a full set of plans for the future, so lets give them some breathing space, as we can see from i14 and 15 they are working hard and listening to our requests.

It will be interesting to see how they get around the problems the OP has brought up. DechsKaison has made a very good set of points, there is much speculation to be had.

Hmmmm, if your right about the 120 second recharge, using another enhacnement would be a waste, but i only use a level 50 invention enhancement anyways. I use Accuracy IO in BlackHole.
The reason is i use Phase Shift to throw my opponents timing off, i do not to try to stay shifted. Or to escape for a few seconds of course.

There seems to be a new glitch, when i was in 2vs2 PvP i could use all my powers that did not do direct damage. Darkest Night, Tar Patch, and Dark Servant. Either it is a glitch or i just never noticed we could do that before.

Couple Phase Shift with BlackHole or another Shift power gives you incredible control in PvP, otherwise i probably wouldnt survive at all especially in PvP Zones (always being attacked by groups). Dark Defenders and Gravity Controllers are great at this especially if your controller gets Ice Epic (Hibernate). This type of fighter is known as a "CAGER".

Neuronia can also tell you Psi/Force works incredibly well, it took me awhile to figure out how to match up against this type after she gave me many beatings.

I use it regularly, it has so many uses (springing ambushes, stealthing, surviving PvP)
Yes you stay shifted for only 30 seconds. Recharge time is 3 minutes but with recharge enhancements you can cut it in half.

There is a rumour that drones/turrets can now fire through the shift, i am going to test that. (i14)
There was a change the devs were talking about a shifted person can now attack another shifted character, i will have to test this theory as well. (i14)

Posting at the same time as others leads to confusion, so i posted at the same time as the ppl above me. If you check Paragonwiki or Mid's Builder you will see the shift lasts only 30 seconds, and from my experience that seems to be the case.

They are obviously enhanced now but at the time i was leveling enhacements were an afterthought. I hope my guide will not get lost in an avalanche of posts not aimed at answering the OP's question. My guide works, that's the important thing.

I repeat my 4 mains are Healers.
You obvously are not from Champion server or you would know i run my Dark Defender through the Praetorian Arc and i SOLO AV's. I am called AV Killer as a nickname and am called by teams regularly who are stuck and need help against them.
I am also one of the few who can kill Romulus 4 times in 60 seconds from the ITF, SOLO!
If you come Champion side and want me to take an unenhanced character through the Praetorian Arc (Again) i have no problem with that!
I do not use scrappers and tanks, stand and scrap is not my style, too boring (too easy). Now if you want me to tank them with a Psi/Emp (very difficult, i am currently working on that as Trauma Storm) that i can do.

Wow, i read only a few pages but i get the impression everyone thinks the problem is build and enhancements?

Any build without enhancements can still solo missions, Except the cape and aura missions. Doing cape mission at level 20 is foolish without high level help.

The problem here is you need to learn to balance your level with your opponents. For example....Level 2 go to contact get your first mission and find out the mission is on the far side of high level 3-4 bad guys. Solution.....take out the hellions around the west side or south side of Atlas to level up (Streetsweeping) to level 3 before doing the mission.

This applies to high level missions as well, if your having a problem there are several things you can do. You will still have problems with certain builds even with enhancements.

Some things to do.....make friends, get on teams, join a LARGE sg.

Streetsweep - each zone caters to a specific level range and areas in the zone has villians ranging from low to high, so walk around and find the right area. I have noticed lowbie villians tend to be around Trains and Zone Entranceways.

Missions - you can have 3 on the go at once, so if one seems a little tough, come back to it after you have gone up a level or two, this actually affects the mission.

Balance - your powers should have an equal mix of offence and defence, heals if your an emp.

Be Prepared: not many do this then are surprised when they are dead. I am often on teams that die alot and i am alone tp'ing and rezzing my teammates. My top 4 characters are all Healers that tank better than most tanks, i am ALWAYS in demand.
That said.....try to keep up your enhancements, i use SO's right up to 50.
Use Inspirations....keep a variety on hand...i keep green(heal),blue(endurance),breakfree(clearmind affects), and a wakie(resurrection) with me at all times.
Temp Powers....get as many as you can for emergencies. Summon Pet Temps are real handy. Low level you can buy temporary powers at WW such as revolver and sledgehammer. Higher level get summon Shivan and Mechs.

As the official judge of the MONTHLY AOW (ALL-OUT-WAR) 25 MILLION COSTUME CONTEST on champion server held under atlas statue first sat. of each month at 7pm est. here is my view.....

To make the event fair we invite a co-judge not from our sg and we have a different sg represented each month.

We hold 3 categories: Best Costume (Main Event), Best Biography, and Best Costume Under Level 20. There are prizes in each category for the top 10 finalists. Main Event grand prize is obviously 25 million, Bio and Under lvl 20 grand prize is 10 million.

Why 3 events: because ppl do work hard on their costumes and bios, and those under level 20 are at a disadvantage not having auras and capes.

Other CC's are spontaneous, i am the judge, this is my contest, and this is who will win. Nothing wronge with that and the winners are based on the mood and likes of the judge. Judges work hard for their prestige and should be thanked for even thinking of giving it out to make the game more fun.

Now for the good part....How to win a Major CC.......

Big CC's are usually advertised early and if there is a theme find out about it (ask questions). Do not ask questions during the CC please it is distracting, but it is ok to voice your opinion if you are not participating in the CC, it is good to get the crowds reaction.

AOW has no set theme.

The first thing i do is stand in the middle of the plaza as the contestents line up, this immediately tells me who stands out the most. If the contestants are mainly black/white, the most colorful stand out and you can see if they are good or bad costumes. Opposite is true too, if everyone is wearing bright colors, black/white will do very well (Abyss of Destruction and Smexxy won once with solid Black/White well done outfits).

No stealth powers allowed for obvious reasons. Powers and Auras are allowed since you are showing off and competing. If you really want a good shot at winning make a few outfits since you can have up to 5. When you get to the CC you can see what others are wearing and choose the outfit you think stands out the best.

After standing in the middle i move in close to see details. Characters with good coloring and a good mix of costume pcs that blend well together works. The best way to judge this for yourself is try different pcs in the editor until you see something you really like you dont see other ppl using very often, you dont want to be generic.

The best way to see if your outfit is as good as you think it is....ask your sg mates, teammates, or judges you know what they think. Remember your opinion matters most but listen to others advice then see how you feel about your outfit. Also look at what other people are wearing and what combinations you like most. One good way to get great ideas is look at other winners and see what they are doing right!

Many of the best dressed are big sg leaders and well known heroes....on champion......
Kiana Marie, XxBudweiserxX, Steel Brigade, End of All Hope, Mondavi, Undead Cyborg, Wiccan WatchTower, Cherry-2000, Ravi, and Osiris-Ka all come to mind. other notables are FireBreath, Grazzit, and Shifter.

This months winner was Shaytana 2 (DarkGuard) with a FULL body metallic costume, sides stripped with white and lime green, and a white body and eye glowing aura.

Rereading this it sounds like i should do a promo for myself so i can win, but i do not feel that is an honourable thing to do, there are more deserving individuals. Some of these ppl will not want to be nominated and should be (Cobalt Azurean).

So are we to nominate ourselves or is it ok to do a feature on our favorite hero?
