As it just seems to be the west coast servers that have gone pop, I'm guessing that its not routine maintenance or anything official.
Looks more like the servers have gone pop, give it a bit of time and Im sure they will get them going again.

I think they should have a randomizer on the door sound effects.
Maybe one could be a squeak, another could be a fart or a burp, another could be a dog-bark and/or a cat's meow. We could even see if we could get the license to some of the sound effects from Starcontrol 2, and have the door call us names when we open it.
I see many potentials in this train of thought...

Done and done.
I'll even throw in a moan of ecstacy and a squeal of delight for good measure. On the house.

What, no sigh of intense satisfaction? Next you'll be telling me you forgot your towel!

Its a rough Universe out there, a person's gotta know where his towel is....

Welcome to the colonies Old boy!
The natives are pretty friendly over here so you can expect a warm welcome. I've been here for over 4 years now and can happily attest to the fun people and times that I regularly encounter.
All that from a Brit!

I agree, don't think its an end related issue, seems to affect both prot bots equally, when I reach 32 will try and see if the 2nd upgrade makes any difference.
Will probably try all combo's (1 upgrade, no upgrades, both upgrades) again to see if it makes any odds.
I've been keeping an eye on what may trigger the prot bots to charge forward (seemingly randomly) and it may have something to do with LoS. Not always but often if the prot bots is blocked from the target by me or the ffg or another bot, that seems to trigger its sprinting frenzy.
Wonder if it gets blocked from its target and so then moves to the targets last known position.
*shrug* at this moment it could any number of things, up to and including its happening because today has a 'y' in it.

Now I'm used to some of my henchmen deciding to forego the use of their ranged weapon, choosing to melee instead (yes medic I am looking at you) but have never encountered it on a bots MM before.
Things have apparently changed, as my protector bot now, seemingly at random, decides to leave its space next to me and run right into melee range of its target. It just sits there, occasionally healing and bubbling backwards (all the other bots are now behind it) and then will shoot the target at point blank range.
Its not like the prot bots even have a melee attack (at least not one that I have seen), causes the prot bot to get wiped a lot of the time which is annoying.
Not sure if its due to a lack of any power recharged enough to use (ie everyone is bubbled, no-one is hurt and non of its attacks are recharged) so maybe it only has 1 option - movement.
Only have the 1 prot bot atm, gonna see if the behaviour occurs when I have both of them and wether it happens with both upgrades. Maybe more powers available means less charging to stand next to the target...
Just throwing this out there in case others are seeing this as well, if anyone does have a solution, it would be much appreciated.

We have been having a great time, both playing other peoples' story arcs and making our own. Since we weren't using the MA for farming, our experience hasn't been altered.

Tbh, its the subscribers money they pay each month, if they wanna spend hour upon hour in the same mish, fighting the same bad guys, let em.
Not my cup of tea, I've tried and find it incredibly boring. Shrug.
However I do find this Uber MA farming depressing, mostly cause of a new SG member we have.
Its a young lad, son of one of the members, joined the game less than a month ago, his highest levl toon was a 23 brute, til the MA farms came along - now he's got a 50 brute and then proceeded to make a SoA.
When I logged out his SoA was lvl 7, when I got back in 3 or so hours later he was mid 30's. When I asked him exactly how much enjoyment he was getting from watching the xp bar blur past, he was 'well it passes the time but its a bit boring'.
We ran some normal MA mishes with some SG toons, including a low level toon from the lad in question, xp was good, we had a good fight, close at times, all had to work together to win but win we did and we felt good for it. That's what I love about CoH/V.
All he said was 'well the xp is very slow, gonna take forever to level at this pace' and then he left to go join a farm.
What future is he gonna have in this game when they tighten the restrictions to make this kind of farming and levelling (and they will)? All he has as his benchmark is the ludicrous MA farm sped to measure against, if he ever does venture into the world of non-farm content no doubt he will struggle as the xp bar hardly seems move.
Just made me sad talking to him

Still scratching me head about this one.
Due to my circumstances, my play time is limited and not often coinciding with the busy times on the servers. I love TF's and SF's but rarely get to run them (I have done 2 ITF's and 2 Lady Grey's in the last 4 months).
However I always like the mini rush at the end when ya roll the dice and take ur chances. No more of that then. It even seems to scupper those of us who run their toons to make enough influence/imfamy to then buy the TF recipe rewards from the market.
Doesn't look too great atm but we shall see how any changes made will affect it, the game and the player base.

Aye, same story - 2 slots left to use are now gone, all the server transfer/buy rename/buy more slots icons are gone as well.

Im currently working my MM towards several of the villain accolades and it does annoy me that to obtain them I need to die multiple, multiple times (4th debt badge) and will need to afk damage as well (4th damage taken badge).
My last MM got to 50 with only the 1st debt paid off and damage taken badge, despite playing on relentless since 18 or so. So I know that if I carried on just playing the game I wouldnt get these badges (and the accolades) til 50. Which is pretty pointless.
I personally think that they should never attach any badge (let alone accolades) to anything that forces the player to die in order to achieve them. Thats poor design imho.

You throw out Magic cards?
Commons are good. Just because something is common doesn't mean its worthless, has no purpose or won't work. Same reasons as NancY pointed out, on top of people like me helping out lower level SG mates (especially new players, or new to the server players) or just n00bs in general.

I love playing ante games against 'serious' magic players, using my favourite, all-common, red/green deck. Quite a sight to see their face as you pull out a demonic tutor/mox/etc and they draw a good old Giant Spider or Fireball.....
