Toxic Weaver plans to rule the world, but as the power behind the scenes. She doesn't like to stick her neck out and the one time she did she nearly got it cut off.
Still, she's got plans even in the Zig. She's passed up opportunities to escape and her wardens aren't sure if it's because she's repentant, apathetic or just happy with her position. -
Character: Fanservice
Level: 43
Time: After 6 any day but Thursday and Saturday. -
Fans watches the clones fall to pieces, kicking the wind shield with a smile.
"Wow! Uh, I guess..my..bluff worked! Yep, they couldn't cope with a plan this brilliant."
Dropping down off the truck she opens the side door for Nighteye
"Nicely done anyway, was good to fight with you Nighteye. Want to go back and help mop up, or shall we split and go get a little celebrating in? Leave the others to clean up the goop." -
With psychic attacks added in to the already messy melee Fanservice was having trouble, fighting the endless hordes wasn't working and no one seemed to have a plan yet of how to stop is peacefully.
Time to fall back on one some good old FA training then.
"Follow me! I have an idea but I'll need help!" she yells to Nighteye darting towards the horde.
With her momentum Fanservice kicked off against a desperately flailing clone it bursting under her heel, fire completely consuming it leaving nothing but ash.
Well it was a pretty big jump.
Landing in an abandoned street some distance away, Fanservice was glad to see it was still here. A refuelling tanker for petrol stations that had been making the rounds, she'd passed it on the way in and luckly the people had been abandoned on foot. It was heavily armoured, because Hellions loved to try set them ablaze, but Fanservice had a way with fire and was sure she could get it to go up if it got close enough. Probably.
Clambering on top of the driver car she waited, hoping she was being followed. She'd have done it all herself, if only she knew how to drive. -
Waving at Nightseye, Fanservice knew there's never a bad time for an introduction.
"Hi! I'm Fanservice"
Clotheslining a superspeeder as it ran past, the poor clone burst into flame and tumbled down the street a sniper shot putting it out of action.
Surveying the fight, Fans gestured for Nightseye to follow.
"Come on! Plenty left for us. Want to at least get some big names before this is over!" -
Mastermind. Not because I'm some kind of Evil genius, but because I love working in teams to the point where I find solo activities actually somewhat dull.
I also strap bombs to people. That counts too. -
Fanservice nodded at Nightseye, the orange glow was there but encased in a thin layer of ice. Fans knew it was adaptive though a blow to it would barely dent, it unless was superheated flame that is. Swinging in for a kick Fans knocks the clone sideways bumping it up against another.
"I'll expose the head! You hit it, don't get caught doing it, or you'll get lit up like a Christmas tree!"
As the car sailed through the air Fans coiled and jumped, landing on it's underbelly as it twisted down to the pair of clones. Grabbing onto the axle she forced heat into the car's frame and with a loud burst the car was turned from a flying projectile to a giant ball of fire crashing into the pair with Fans hopping clear at the last moment.
"She'll be down. Do it now!" -

I hear that if you say her name 3 times, she'll appear, and read out a sentence of NPC text from I13
[/ QUOTE ]
Interestingly I was in Steel Canyon the other day, and an NPC said "[Hero-Name]? I could have sworn he was a villain".
Hint of prepartory text for a Going Rogue system? Or am I reading too much into it :P
[/ QUOTE ]
They say it if you've done the mission recently where you disguise as Arachnos in Faultline.
Sorry!
But yes, the NPC text is awesome, much love! -
Fanservice skidded along the ground, ice crackling under her feet as it speed her clear of a fire wreathed punch from her alter ego. This was good footage, the editing team were gonna go wild when they saw it and it might just take the top slot on the programming scheldue, which was great!
However right this instant, things didn't look too good at all. Her copy wasn't an exact match for her, but what it lost in experience it more than made up for with recklessness. It didn't help that both could set each other on fire with the lightest touch if they saw it coming. Meaning that while the copy didn't care if it got burned back, Fans had to surprise it or pull the blow.
Ducking another wild swing Fans kicked out her copies legs, smashing her fist into it's head as it reached the ground the pavement cracking under the force and flames spluttering to life wreathing the hair in fire. Jumping back as her copies hand waved to try retaliate the clone sprung at Fans from it's downed position. Ducking under it she shoulder barged it with a grunt, sending it sailing off into the melee as a ball of flame. A thud and a scream as someone came running back out of the melee ablaze, diving at a burst hydrant to douse the flame, Fans winced at her mistaken throw.
Barely slowed, her doppelgänger run back out of the melee looking around for Fanservice and being greeted with a spinning manhole cover to the face. The sickening crunch knocking it to the ground as Fans fist pumped for the cameras in triumph. Looking around, the whole street was a battle zone and Fans herself was stalemated in this fight the doppelgänger already rising to reset it's jaw and charge right back in.
"Alright! Uh... look anyone want to switch partners? Beating myself up over this isn't helping!"
-
Fanservice gawked at her doppelgänger, her mind so thrown she fell on the one thing she was currently completely certain.
"Oh! You are SO breaking a trademark" -
Well apparently fates conspire to stop me seeing Batman. So I will be available this evening again if the spots still there!
Bah! -
I'll have to cancel sadly.(Sorry!) I've just realised I'm a spaz. Friday's my birthday and thus I won't be around by eight. Curse you the inevitable onset of death! (Although any excuse to get everyone together for a few drinks I'll let pass!)
I might be able to come Saturday, pending on my PnP group actually meeting this week or now. -
Fanservice dropped with a crunch near the assembling group a silver of ice over her eyes making them appear huge as she spies the thing from afar.
"Hi! I'm Fanservice and that thing doesn't look good. Hope it's not doing what I think it is, back home someone hexed a whole town to be in nothing but bliss... it didn't go quite to plan. They never moved again, just wasted away, all happy and content. I think some of them are still on drips, it's ... well it's not a bad thing I guess, but still I didn't like it."
Clicking her tongue she carried on watching, before glancing around "Oh! Just a thought. Don't mind me... never did like tentacles anyway, nothing involving tentacles ends well." -
I'd offer up Fanservice Ice/Fire tank for that. Even if her and magic never get along.
-
Fanservice would come to the Friday one! IC mishing with her is fun. 30ish Ice/Fire Tank.

Read the first few posts and my idea is:
Make all AVs and possibly GMs... immune to Taunt.
Pure chaos! It would be so awesome!

Not for Tankers, who would become effectively useless O.o -
Sitting in a Starbucks along Kings row, Fanservice had stopped in after visiting a former kidnap victim, just to check they were doing aright. Thankfully, they were fine and so her day was fairly open so she had took the time to eat a pastry, drink a small coffee and speak with her agent on the phone. The conversation was getting a little heated though and a few funny looks were getting passed her way, well funnier than usual considering she was wearing a costume straight out of a Tarintino Movie.
"Look, I don't mind the toys I was shown so don't worry about that they're great! But I've a problem with the villain Anti-Freeze"
"Well he doesn't exist! I mean people are going to notice that. You made him up!"
"They will notice. Some of them know more about who I've fought than I do! I was totally lost at the questions panel last year, I didn't know Rip Tear was a Villain with a big following and I wasn't paying attention to his banter I totally dropped the ball there, why can't you do him anyway?"
"How can he have his own toy line? He's a criminal! That's so unfair! Look, it doesn't matter anyway, the point is you're not making someone up, I'm the one who's going to get bothered about it!"
"I don't care if his costume took a lot of design, unless you're going to put it on and come fight me with it I've still never fought him! This is get- uh, I've got to call you back. There's a meteor about to crash into the city, I can see it through the window. I'll finish this later!"
"No that's not slang! Speak later!"
Hanging up Fanservice gives an apologetic wave to the till staff as she made her way rapidly outside. The echoing crash as the meteor tore up pavement already ringing off the sides of the high rise buildings. Fans jumped off the street, leaping high enough to land on a nearby roof. The smoke trails were easily visible and Fans quickly decided it was best to go see what on earth was going on, moving along the rooftops to get a closer look. -
CoH was never really built for PvP. Some builds (Alright MOST builds) are just fodder in it and it does feel very tacked on.
Sure it's fun, but i'd never take it seriously. -
(( Nah, not unless Seven starts giving her a reason too! Any time Mon-Wed should be good for me. ))

He still goes to the store. He has a particular fondness for Adventures of Statesman and The Amazing Ms Liberty. He has always been very keen on the heroes of Paragon City.
Wednesday, 22:34 Kings Row
Slapping a new magazine into her rifle, Emily felt the buzz as a new clip was teleported into the specially prepared pouches. The Rikti had dropped all over the neighbourhood and Emily was helping drive them off from the ground. Leading the way was Leandrea a small white cat person in some finely crafted black armour, Lea showed almost no sign of damage despite having being shot, stabbed and even hit by an air bomb over the course of the fight. Emily couldn't helped be impressed and if she was honest with herself, even a little jealous.
As the battle raged on Emily fought purely by trained instinct, her mind free to think about the case and since it never stopped thinking she did just that.
Johnovich worked from home, and asking around the clients politely built up a bit of a profile. He was hard working, punctual and easy going. He did suffer from a bad case of Hero worship though, as some clients recalled with slightly pained voices. Apparently Johnovich could talk about them for some length. Still, it didn't seem he had any reason to have a psychotic break, outside influence at that point looked likely and Emily was entertaining the idea of Psychic influence again.
The family was a thin lead, the only relative of note was his mother and she suffered from advanced Alzheimers. The nurse had explained she couldn't remember much about her son, the only real thing Emily could gather from the meeting was the old bird once bought comics for him from a local store, the Wizards Well. The old woman was clearly in no fit state to be bothered more, so Emily politely made her leave.
On the off chance of a lucky break, Emily had visited the comic store and found that Johnovich was a regular customer. He read the Adventures of Statesman and The Amazing Ms Liberty in the majority being a big fan of Paragon's heroes. Emily left fairly quickly there wasn't much to gather, the whole place made her a little nervous in honesty, she'd never really been that keen on idolization and the whole store reeked of it.
Taking a moment to focus back on the real world, the fight with the Rikti was still going strong. Taking aim at a Rikti Priest, Emily managed to hit him square between the eyes her helmet already picking up and selecting new targets. As the Rikti swarmed around Leandrea, Emily sent a rolling wave of flame into them the tough white cat battling on despite the heat. They'd already agreed earlier that it was a legitimate tactic and it worked well, the grouped up Rikti burst into flames and several charred bodies feel to the ground the recall teleporters blinking them away back to their ships.
Where was she? Oh yes, her first real leads came when she visited Galaxy Girl to interview a few witnesses. After speaking to a charming, but obviously very dead zombie and confirming the story with Red Commissar she had a better idea of the events that had transpired.
Originally Johnovich had met with the Red Commissar and talked politely, leaving to go fetch him a bottle of vodka. By this point he seemed a normal individual and there was no cause for concern, he was likely there indulging in a bit of Hero worship. The change happened between his absence and subsequent return. Worthy of note was between this was a small Rikti invasion of the area, which may or may not be relevant in the long run. He had arrived back at the statue ranting about how everyone there was 'Rikti Spies and had attempted to assault them with a vodka Molotov and a Pistol. The Pistol he may or may not have had on him at the original meeting, but Emily guessed not, he didn't seem the type to carry one. Never the less he was quickly subdued and calmed down by two heroes, neither of which Emily had yet been able to question to her frustration.
This information didn't help Emily find out what did happen, but it did help her rule out what didn't. The event to cause the psychosis had happened between buying the vodka and returning to the statue. CCTV footage of the area may help with that, the hospital cameras are worth a look too. Emily would have to visit the watch houses tomorrow. The psychosis was either triggered by the Rikti attack or more likely an individual looking to test a power or device that causes delusions. Targeted use was unlikely, as the boy was clearly totally useless as an assassin. This was likely a test and the fire bomb cleaning up the only witness to the test.
That's the best theory she could come up with so far, getting a hold of the bomb may be needed to try trace the manufacturer, as well as the pistol and it's serial codes. Both will be with the police, so Emily was going to have to call in a few favours and maybe even pay someone off.
Still, this was no normal killing, Emily was sure of that now.
The Rikti attack ended with the last of the Rikti teleporting away, Emily cleared and made safe her rifle. Lea was busy putting a finishing kick to a Rikti who's teleporter had failed, one tough customer that cat. Emily was fairly sure she'd have held her own even without backup. Tomorrow she'd start chasing up leads though, the case was interesting, it could be something big and it had Emily's interest. Just hope it doesn't get too out of hand.. -

[ QUOTE ]
Walter's no stronger than the next man, but a lot more dexeterous and able to shrug off disease easily thanks to his suit. He's a super genius and it's reflected in his massive intellect score, however his cold soulless attitude makes it hard for him to relate to normal people. It's worth noting however that in the Rogue islands normal people are in short supply.

Toughness: 12(With Forcefield)/2
Fortitude: 4
Reflex: 6
Willpower: 8
Attack: 7

[ QUOTE ]
Nothing special here, Walter's intellect prevents mind effects relatively easily and his enhanced senses can keep him out of danger. He's not the best fighter, but then that's what robot minions are for! He'll go down fairly fast if something can hit through his forcefield, but his minions can all interpose themselves between the blows so as long as they're around it's less of a worry.

Walter has few social skills but his knowledge of all things mechanical is truly impressive. He should be able to quickly and easily whip up all sorts of impressive devices and is a true expert in his field. He can see through people, but especially skilled liars may be able to pull the wool over his eyes, if he sees fit to listen to them that is.

Walter has a ton of feats, most geared to making him an excellent commander of his robotic Minions (Who are fanatically devoted to him) and being a devious genius. Going up against Walter you better hope he's not had time to plan the fight, or he can lay down a master plan to give him the edge and tailor made inventions, designed to destroy you! His Super Computer acts as a Contact and keeps him informed of the people he meets. What Super Computer you may ask?

Walter has a lot of Devices! The mines are fairly deadly, as they can be set up to lure people into further adding to the "Don't let Walter see you coming" plan. The grenade launcher comes with both explosive and flashbangs and while not hugely deadly in Walter's hands can still lay down some damage. The Forcefield protects most of the people near him but can be beaten down with enough force (And will need to be reactivated manually) Walter can survive in space, or underwater. Although with only leaping to get about it'd not be the best place for him!

Weakness: Opium dependency (Uncommon, Major. -1 to stats every 20 minutes if not taken. Can kill)
Complication: Responsibility (Jeeves, his favourite Robot who he treats as his closest friend.)
Complication: Addiction (Opium)
Complication: Obsession (Trans-Humanism, Walter believes machines will one day rule the earth.)
Complication: Reputation ( Walter is a wanted Criminal over most of the world.)
Just the robots and Jeeves to go. Phew! -
Steel Canyon, Monday 04:12
In her brightly lit and sparsely decorated apartment room Emily Vickers was still dressed in her fatigues, she couldn't get to sleep, too many thoughts. Holding a new news clipping thoughtfully as she studied the cork board in front of her it was covered with pieces of string leading to news clipping in an intricate web, the words 'Psychic', 'Hero' and 'Disaster' were visible in several places.
The latest possible addition was interesting, but was it a psychotic break caused by desperation... possibly debts, perhaps blaming Heroes for them? Or was it outside influence? The fire bomb might hint the first, but it was too extreme a message to send. Fire bombs seemed Hellion style, but it was far too targeted for them. A psychic seemed out, they wouldn't have needed a fire bomb to do this .. let's say experimentation as a start.
Emily took some blue thread and pinned the clipping to the board around the edge, joining it with several others including a few scraps of reports on Crey Corp, an Arachnos report detailing some form of mind melding research and a small scrip of paper with just the words 'Malta' written on it. The last one was linked to a lot of thing.
Tapping her leg she returned to the large panelled desk she used for her research, the computer was already humming away gathering information from Social Networking sites, Company newsletters and the Papers but outside of a few leads to follow on, Emily didn't see it getting far.
He was already crazy when he entered the Hospital and with patient confidentiality it's a bad place to start. No need to get illegal on this yet so poking around is bad. Either the Family or the Work Place would be the best place to find out about enemies, disappearances or unusual activity. Perhaps start with the Workplace first, less emotional.
Steel Canyon, Monday 09:12
Emily felt a little better after the short sleep, munching on a piece of toast she transferred the information from her computer to the small storage spaces in her visors. Sunglasses today, blending in a little. She ran down her mental check-list quickly good preparation was something she prided herself on. Her backpack was already packed, identification, analysis kit, collapsible assault rifle with attachments, enchanted impervium tipped rounds, fragmentation grenades. The usual day to day stuff for this city.
Grabbing the Trilby off the hook by the door as she leaves, Emily sets off to see if there's anything more to this whole affair. -
Well recently Fans changed a lot, so I think i'll do her as she's grasping her new powers, and is still a bit combat shy!

Well Kumi is nothing if not strong and tough! Reflected here in the massive Strength and Con scores, she can shrug off a fair bit and really lay someone out if needed. She's still young, so she's not that world wise or educated. Her charms gotten her where she is today and she gets along with people fairly easily hence a high Charisma!
[/ QUOTE ]
Toughness: 5
Fortitude: 10
Reflex: 4
Willpower: 6
Attack: 8
Defense: 8
[ QUOTE ]
A great fortitude reflects Kumi's ability to throw off nearly any personal problems. Her will is fair, but not amazing. She's not that light on her feet with her new body, thus a poor reflex save ,her speciality is more in recovering from blows than ducking them for now.

Kumi's got a fair set of skills, but the only thing she really excels it are Computers, Being a Scary Girl with her new powers, asking around her numerous contacts for information and Pop Culture!
[/ QUOTE ]
Quick Change, Equipment, Fearsome Presence(3), All out Attack, Acrobatic Bluff, Power Attack, Die Hard, Contacts, Connected, Attractive
[ QUOTE ]
Kumi's got plenty of people to pump for information or call in favours, from the media to Hero Corp friends hence having both Contacts and being Connected. Attractive is actually more well... Adorable! Resist the cute you cannot. Diehard represents her total unwillingness to stay down, she's just going to keep coming. Fearsome Presence is her Cloak of Fear, it'll scare the lowly Villains, but anyone with real courage will likely ignore it. If you're wondering why Quick Change is the first Feat I picked, clearly you've not been paying attention!
[/ QUOTE ]
Immunity 1 (Pain)
Flight 7 (100 Mph Top Speed)
Strike 3 (Mighty)
Strike 6 (Aura)
Regeneration 21(4 Ressurection, 3 Bruised and Injured, 6 Injured or Staggered, 6 Disabled. Extras: Persistent, Regrowth.)
Equipment
Mobile Phone (3)
Camera
Laptop
[ QUOTE ]
Kumi's not got the widest array of powers yet, but her regeneration is truly disgusting. Coming back from the dead every hour and with actual injury she'll heal shortly after taking it and it's requires some seriously big hit to put her down as anything else she'll just recover from with ease. She can even regrow limbs and cure normally incurable damage, IC it's never been damage shields, but an incredible healing factor! The only thing that'll kill her deader than dead is atomization. Also her Death shroud is shown here, allowing her to deal damage every time someone even touches her. She's got a claim to a few other powers, but ill let her actually get them in game before putting them there. Also yes, that is right, three mobile phones she's sponsored by Virizon.
[/ QUOTE ]
Weakness: Concentrated Energy (Moderate, Very Common. Fans own powers are to destroy energy, so a big chunk of it can overload her, which hurts like hell!)
Complication: Fame (Fans is pretty well known by now and it makes keeping her Private life private all the more challenging.)
Complication: Reputation (Being a bit of a figure of light hearted fun many people have difficulty taking her seriously)
Complication: Responsibility (Fans is expected to complete her jobs on time and efficiently, regardless of moral questioning!)
So that's the new Fanservice! Quotes? Well there can only really be one...
Hi! I'm Fanservice! -
[ QUOTE ]
I would love to make one of Walter Steamworth, but having never played a P&P game (I can't find anybody in my area who does) but always wanted to, I wouldn't know how to begin really. I could just take somebodies already completed one and replace the things inside with Walter's own details, but somehow I think that wouldn't work, since there's bound to be way more options that would apply to him that I don't know about.
If it's really complicated and not worth an explanation for Walter (His wiki is in my sig if you want an overview of him) then just say so.
[/ QUOTE ]
Want me to have a go at it Walter me ol' chum? Me ol' china? Would be fun I think.
