Back in CoH when I was always a heal-type controller or defender nobody really complained about dying because they wandered off on their own. It wasn't because they didn't wander off, it wasn't because I'm undescribably awesome... it's because I had tp friend and a sharp tongue

If some idiot wandered off and went into red hp I'd tp them back to me, heal them and give them a rollicking for being so silly. Sometimes it felt like a glimpse of what it must be like to be a mother ^^;
On the bright side people never complained and they'd learn quickly enough with the end result being fun for everyone :3

When I created my corruptor, I was convinced by the class decription, that I would be a "damage dealer", and in no way a support class. How wrong I was.

But than again, if he'd thought like that, then why'd he pick up shields anyway?

Its not total damage dealer AS explained, there is enough info out there - we're NOT blasters. More like a combo f healer and blaster - read it all and try it out the Info is there.
Ice/cold is about the only one who CAn miss shields comfortably dark SURE cant realistically miss heals etc and nor can Thermal - how silly would that be

some players are just plain lazy or stoopid and it matters not how you tell them they rumble on. MM's who just bubble pets and corr's with heals and rez who well... just dont use it!

It bugs me Its my trade here I've been at it long enoug and its in my blood - ffs dont be so lazy and selfish heal/rez/sheils or else why choose them? This is a team game or teh most part (i know some solo but some are just plain lazy and well....selfish)
Choose Blaster if you dont wanna support or Brute for damage else read the WHOLE blurb on your AT........

The cone immobilize is really good in PvE though.

And I'd REALLY like to know if the cone spells have finally been fixed in PvP... last time (and it was some time ago, mind you) I tried my darkie in a fight against a hero, I could not land a SINGLE cone spell... no fear (that's from the secondary dark set), no tentacles, no Night Fall...

If you actually study the defender AND corruptor AT's you'll see and amazing simalirity - however Co's do have more damage but not as much as blaster summmit we reg's have moaned about for ages but not to worry eh? =)
WE did recommend 2 ac for PvP as a rule as most ATs are going for that for PVP. Dark ad dark miasma are fabulpus sets IF you know how to play them.......
