    I'll give you bombing runs, but that type of thing in CoH would be somewhat redundant because of Travel Powers.

  3. Yup. Just depends what kind of an upgrade, just re-doing the old NPC textures (have you seen an Outcast lately compared to a Roman or Rikti?) and the world ones would be a massive boost.

    It would of course be a whole lot of work.

    That is what's needed, preferably paid for so they can actually add some new stuff to do instead of just fluffing up what's already here.

    Well they (theoretically) have the manpower now and the Mission Architect will be quite a big selling point too.

    I think it's a case of when rather than if.
  5. There's the entire game for 'new' players.

    The problem when it comes to marketting City of Heroes is that it's dated visually (and it is in a whole lot of aspects) and it has no concrete traditional end game content.

    'HAI GUYS COME PLAY THIS FOUR AND A HALF YEAR OLD GAME, YOU CAN CHOOSE WHAT HAT TO WEAR WITHOUT GIMPING YOUR STATS!".

    Give it a graphical tweak and some reasonably hefty new content and I see no reason why another boxed release isn't on the cards.
  6. Had a poke aroudn RV earlier today with Mesmer, Supression feels like wading through treacle but it made things fairer for the Brute that was trying to kill us.

    Seriously though fix Blaster damage jesus christ.

    There was no way it couldn't, even if every single PvP'er played around with it it's still too small of a group in my opinion.

    Far more people'd have a look at it on Live than would on Test.

  8. Anyway, this is the best of both worlds, if I can do away with diminishing returns on set bonus' and the new Mez rules but keep the bonus resistances and travel suppression, that'd be kinda fun.

    Now... about fixing Blaster damage.

    Any nipples were unintentional, generally found on Tights Sleek (then called Tights 2) and not on all graphics cards.

    It got fixed.

    Just because Claws isn't so good for PvP in i13, doesn't mean it's CHANGED. As has clearly been shown, it's actually received an overall BUFF, even if it is a small one. Therefore, the reason you don't see many Claws scrappers in PvP now is because they sucked BEFORE i13, not after.

    Therefore, your entire argument is null and void.

    Now, if you want to argue about Claws being rubbish OVERALL, that's a different matter and nothing to do with i13.

    I dont wish to argue about anything, however i would like to discuss why Claws are so weak for PvP and Dueling. As someone previoulsy stated "As a PvP char your off to a big disadvantage as its lethal damge". Well BS and Katana are lethal damage but they do well in dueling and PvP, But claws has no chance.

    And im not saying its claws being rubbish just since I13, they have always been weak, hence i cant believe they suffer another blow. To say its a reduction in damage but an increase in the attack so same damage is pants. In my view Claws needs its damage increased overall to make it more competive in PvP and Dueling. I feel its a great shame being they are fun character to play but let down badley by its damage potential.

    In order to make Claws viable for PvP you would need to increase burst damage. This would come at a cost; longer recharge times, longer animations, higher endurance costs.
  12. If I remember my numbers right, Claws has the second highest DPS output (just behind Katana).

    What it lacks is burst damage.

    DPS > Mag 3 Hold on a Tank/Brute.

    Unless, of course, you can't take a hit or two.
  14. I took Kat/DA to 35 without Stamina, and that was Pre-ED with the higher end costs and slow recharging Rest.

    Use Inspirations people.

    Should lower levels also receive temporary Damage and Recharge buffs to go with the extra ToHit?
  16. The biggest problem with Stamina is that people feel they need or should get it at 20 without fail.

    You don't, pick it up at 22, or 26, or 35.

    Hell you can get travel power temps via Mayhem/Safeguard missions now so why drop 2x powers to get a Travel early on? That's two possible power choices most people would say were needed a few issues ago right there that can be pushed back a bit without much hassle. Wouldn't doing that help get Stamina early if you want to?

    Your conceptions demand you sacrifice power choices for Stamina at an early level, the game does not.

    Hey guys my Invul is fine against massive -Recharge and Psionic damage, I just don't aggro those mobs!

Its performance and your ability to have fun (by that I mean not be so subjected to lesser survivability from team players disallowing the right dynamic or for you to play as intended) will differ. I think Invulns Tankers are now about right but quirky little changes maybe needed on other ATs.

    If anything Brute's have more survivability from their Inherent than a Tank. I still feel Invul has a few too many holes compared to other sets, and that's as a whole - not limited to a specific AT.
