Has to be during an old-style Hami-raid. I was playing my first scrapper then, and had to pee. So, while the perimiter guard were jobbing a GM that had wandered close, I left my char on follow and auto-fired Headsplitter. I came back to find my char had pushed the GM towards several of his gigantic chums...

Energy Aura for Tankers
Electrical Melée and Armour for both Tankers and Scrappers.
Energy Melée and Aura for Scrappers.
Broadsword Brutes.
Regeneration Brutes.
Spines Brutes, as long as it's the Dominator Thorny Assault appearance and not the mutant banana's.
Firey Melée and Armour for Stalkers (replace the PBAoE DoT power with Hide). -

Hokey dokey... Now that I understand the question, time to think.
Lord Defender Has already had a moment of faith recently, when confronted with the avatar of the Aesir I mentioned. His faith in the Aesir is unshakable now, and he's sush a stubborn old grouch that'd he'd do all he could to bring the new god down, even if he got pummeled into a greasy stain by its power which would likely happen, as LD's not invulnerable by a long shot. (WP/EM Tank)
Rumour is a stubborn, firey-tempered and a little immature adaptive mutant (albeit with a specific condition to that adaptation). She's gritty, having grown up rough on the streets of Mercy Island making her fairly tough. Thanks to lots of experience fighting Rikti in the Warzone, she's resistant to psychics. She would fly in the face of the thing but again would likely be hammered into a smear or whatever, but thanks to a previous encounter with a 'thankful' Succubus, cannot stay killed. She'd ressurrect herself, get horribly killed trying to fight it, ressurrect herself and fall back and try something else. (DB/WP Brute) -
I want to see the skull on a stick return. We used to have it, but it's been removed.
Edit: I'd also like to see a tech-style mace that doesn't look like it belongs in Tate Modern. -
My characters would need a lot of convinsing, much like myself. There are already 'god-like' beings in the game-world; they're called Metahumans (Y'know, people with powers and such). The 'god' would need to be able to do a lot more than anything repeatable by the appropriate powerset before my chars took them even remotely seriously.
Bring down the moon? Gravity control. Shape said moon into a chair? Earth control. Make people do as the 'god' wishes? Psionics. Fire and brimstone?
I think you get the picture. However; were you a roleplayer who's skill and imagination ordinarily not only impressed me, but earned my respect and even admiration, then I might just accept the concept if it was very carefully thought out.
I could count those players who've managed that on one hand and still have digits spare. One of them has a similar concept, but uses the deity (One of the Aesir) in a mature and competant manner, using it as a plot device to further the roleplay of his character, and his alone in a way that works very splendidly.
Edit: spelling and grammar corrections -
Regarding D's, I've reasoned that Zero creates an overlapping dimension for each patron as they enter, that allows interaction with other people, but prevents any harmful contact. What this means is that, if two chars shake hands, they shake hands. But if one tries to stab another, the attack passes right through the victim's body without effect. For me, the interwoven dimensions created take all Zero's concentration, or a significant portion of it, which is why he never comes down from floating over his speaker.
I've no idea what the general roleplaying community thinks of this, but the few people I've given my theory to have taken it as a feasible explanation and have accepted it. Out of curiosity, what do the rest of you think? -
Just re-reading the wording in the Shield Charge text, where it mentions Knock-down. Is Knock-down the same thing as Knock-back? Or is it later than I should be awake?
Edit, amid much yawning and blinking: Okay, I found the linkage to the screenies and such of power-select screen... stuff... and got this here image. It's a knockback power, but it's such a low centile of KB, 0.64 magnitude, that I doubt anything will really be thrown far, if not just off their feet in situe, situ, .. in place.
Now, forgive my bluntness, but it's half passed two in the morning. Is it really worth all this sodding WHINING?! Significant-religeous-figure on a rotissery, give it a rest already. Some of you are acting like kids squabbling over who's toy is the best. Wait until it's released, give it a bash, and then wave e-peen's at each other. Just shut up about it until then and get on with your gaming. -
My search-fu fails me, but from what I remember the reason one cannot alter character height with the creation-screen slider once the char's finalised is the same kind of reason why digging up and replacing a house's foundations is more difficult than repainting the walls.
When you alter height, you're changing a lot of code that relates to your char. Scalers have to adjust automatically, textures stretch or shrink dramatically and so forth. In short, coding that kind of thing to be a normally alterable effect would take a lot more time than the Dev's have. -
Nerva? What about Port Oakes, around Marconeville? What about Villa Montrose? I've prowled both these areas and found boss Family.

I just had an idea for another application for this feature.
Player one: Hey, I just had an idea for a great cossie.
Player two: Yeah? Did you take a screenie?
Player one: No, but the components are...
Player two: Okay, let me write this down and look later.
Now, we'll have this:-
Player one: Hey, I just created a great outfit template, want me to email/messenger it to you?
Player two: Sure. I've got a few to email/messenger to you too. Sending them over. -
Regarding Shield Charge, I'm already imagining clever keybinds to alert fellow shielders to prepare for said charge.
/bind <keystroke> "local Ready your shields! Charge them on my command!$$powexec_name Shield Charge"
/bind <keystroke2> local Chaaarge!!
*cue clicking of target-area*
Now imagine a superteam, plus a few more superteams, all with shields. Gods... the imagery... ;drools -
Hating to burst some bubbles here (if there are even bubbles to burst, even), but the awards won't be retroactive.

Well... balls. By the way folks, I heard on the news the other day that the recession will last for about two years. Spoken by a spokesman for the Rothschild (who own most of the world's banks. Funny how he knows in advance how long it'll last, and he works for the banks, isn't it...)
Look out for more gaming venue closures. And other things.
back on-topic: Well... balls. We need another venue to hold our player meetup for Easter I 'spose. Any ideas? -
I want to know if:
a) The accrued time you spend logged out counts for the 30 days, in which case it'll take years (figuratively, non-literal) to get even one badge,
or
b) The act of logging-out counts towards the day, meaning you can bounce from location to location, logging out in each before a final logout and have all the bounces count as one day's logout in each place.
Until I know for absolute certain, which of these is valid, I have no opinion about the duration. -
There are more non-weapon based sets than the reverse. It's the melee chars who are outnumbered here. Also, in my opinion, the higher smashing and lethal resistances out there in the end-game content is the reason melee weapon users are getting such customisation, to keep the interest in something which isn't as effective as the more elemental and energy-based attacks.
You want super-powers? The answer, my friend, is simple. Don't roll a weapon- or shield-user. -
Riot shield isn't bad. It'd be great to have a police baton added to the Warmace set to match it.

*smacks self* I should learn to read better when excited.

Have I told you lately how much I love you?
Looking forwards to seeing what people come up with. I have one question though, is there a minimum level requrement to enter or are level one chars with outfits copied from Villain chars permitted?
Edit: To explain asking it here, I reasoned others would ask the same question, so thought to prevent you getting spammed in pm's. -
*wanders in* It's not involving me, but I have to say I love the idea of a definate timer. The slews of posts on previous threads on this board have been my main reason for not participating in most of them. Great idea Zortel. *wanders off*

As much as I am all in favour for more costume components, sadly the fact is that it's not very high on the Dev's agenda.
