Well please tell her this, if we are to do missions that are hunts specifcially in a certain zone then we need to have enough npcs and at the PROPER LEVEL RANGES!!!. I dont know how many times I get a hunt mission to kills something and the stuff either doesnt spawn enough of them in the zone or they are so far in level above me I end up having to hold on to that mission for 2 or 3 levels just to be able to do it otherwise I have to drop the mission. -

Question on this, I have heard many conflicting reports that stealth powers can cause the heavies not to spawn, if this is true is it due to the way some stealth powers lower your threat rating?

Thanks, I been needing these badges for a while now. Any chance you can get the invasions that happen throughout the day to happen closer together so we have ample time to get these badges.

In light of the new tf change I feel that the devs are full of it. They choose to change TF/SFs all because some folks can run the cap sf really fast. They do that but dont even change one of the biggest recipe exploits in the game with the sewer trial. I have been on a team that did the exploit once and it was so fast that it even blows issue 9 speed Katie out of the water. So why isnt it fixed?

Just to be a jerk sometimes I got the /release_pets command on a macro, this also insta-kills the table if you dont want others using it.

This is exactly what I mean. It is like they are not even thinking these changes thru before they put up a patch. If this patch has to go thru then do this if you wont allow us to kick people who are not logged in. Give us the ability to see what toon a person is playing as if you put them on Global ignore. Currently you dont see anything about that person if they are on global ignore. I think this is the only other way. I can create a blacklist for the TF/SF Quitters and Griefers so I will be able to know at least for that account if a person is a bad player or not. -

Understandable and thanks for the feedback. However, I would have to advise you to better get to know the people you are grouping with. Simply put, if someone has a reputation for such, don't engage in a task / strike force or trial with them. You would be well advised to only take your most trusted allies with you to tackle such challenging and dangerous missions!

On several TF's its already hard enough to get a big enough team together to run it(esp for the FP and Shard TF's) and many times you dont have the luxury of picking and choosing who is to use.
This also stops people who might drop out suddenly due to internet problems and such.
IMO all this change does it stop a few people from softloading, while punishes the rest of the player base becasue no matter how much you "prepare" there are going to be times where someone is going to drop out suddenly.

It does put the control back in the players hands in all cases but a hard, irreconcilable loss of internet connectivity. Some examples:
Wife/Husband agro or a bad storm moving into your area that will likely cause you to have a power outage: Simply let the team know you need to go and quit the team and the spawns will scale down to the new team size.
Cat steps on your power strip, turning off your system: Well, the team will have to deal with you going Link Dead, but hopefully they can manage till you log back in.
Someone on your team is acting like a complete dork, agroing ahead, or otherwise placing the teams integrity in jeopardy: Have the team leader talk with them and if they can't settle down, remove them from the team and allow the spawn size to scale down to the new team size.
If you want to "solo" a Task Force (for example Positron)? Invite two others (since it is a min. 3 person to start) to start the Task Force and then have one quit. You need to have 2 people minimum in a Task Force / Strike Force or Trial for the mission chain to stay solvent. But hey, you can solo spawns for 2 with your settings on heroic, can't you? Or - duo it with a friend.

I can see your point about a storm but sometimes a power outage happens because someone down the street hit a pole or if they are doing maintenance type stuff in your area. Further more it doesnt address the issues where you have a crappy ISP that is having problems after you start the TF/SF. The only solution is give us the ability to kick teammates if they log or dc or not even bother with it. -

I cant believe you just said that? Some servers are like ghost towns I am sometimes lucky enough to get the bare minimum to start a TF/SF let alone give everyone a background check before I start one. Seriously this patch stinks just like the one before did. They must give us the ability to kick people who log off or not even bother with this change. -

Without a doubt. The damage is already done, the redside market is going to self destruct. You will have enough inf to Purple IO out all your toons on that server by then. Salvage will probably get dirt cheap by then because of the lack of recipes around to craft. -

Well I know first hand how bad this change is, last night we had a defender to go afk on the Sara Moore TF (gawd this chick looks throwed away like some homeless person, devs please give her better clothing and hairstyle). Needless to say the defender got logged off due to the afk timer. It was a [censored] having to deal with that extra set of mobs from someone. Our other defender had a family emergency but prior to this announcement I had explained about the recent change to tfs when I realized the first defender wasnt coming back. I think had I not said that he probably would have left too. If he is reading this I want to thank you for sticking it out eventhough you had an emergency. I will say this after this change I will be staying the hell out of the shadow shard. It is just not worth my time anymore.

I also want to mention that the snake egg change has also rendered the temp power to destroy the eggs useless because the eggs hatch way before you get into range to actually use the gun on them. -

This change prevents casual players from organzing Task forces and strike forces, especially Villainside where subscriptions are dwindling and reducing the player pool already.
The late explanation is superficial and hardly persuasive. Villainside Cap Au Diable SF was farmed because the redside market is anemic compared to the blueside market. This change will only increase this large gap. Clearly NCSoft is making changes to keep the game interesting by preventing easy recipes, but what will you do when the market has so few?
I'm tempted to think that NCSoft is attemtping to manage serversize by making CoV uninhabitable.

Both games use the same servers, there is no hero only or villain only accounts unless you bought the games seperate after NCSoft bought City of Heroes/Villains from cryptic studios. You will find very few places that still sell them seperate. -

This part I am not buying even for a second. It has happened way too much since the begining of the game, it even happens after Jack left the game. Lighthouse this is a pretty huge change that we should have known about in the patch notes, there is absolutely no excuse that something this big gets missed in the patch notes. I can understand not posting a patch note due to the exploits like the Ouroboros powerlevel exploit but this isnt even on that level and should not have been missed period. This has been a constant thing with us the players having to figure it out whether it was a bug or "Working As Intended". You guys need to do better because this is inexcuseable due to the size of the change. -

WRONG!!! The invention system was *partial* compensation for ED and the GDN, it did not in anyway reverse any of that stuff. You still hit a cap and any points where you go over are still minor at best. The only time it goes over the caps is when folks get extreme with the +acc and +recharge all out the whazoo, and even then there are caps on that stuff so it doesnt matter as much.

I would say the bulk of the nerfs we got post issue 4 were pvp related very few had any justification for them to change how things were in pve. Namely the phase shift change, if you cant click on a glowie while it is up and you can still be killed by hami then why do we even have the auto-shut off still on phase shift?

Nerfing was never really the answer, in some cases like the smoke grenade nerf those needed to happen but for the most part they should have just tweaked the critter AI and buff the critter stats instead. That way the players dont feel that the devs took something away from the players eventhough the net result is about the same. -

Anything can be made Flashback, but the "completed" star checks for A) Souvenir clue or B) the Badge. If we did missions that were not Story Arcs and not Badged, then they would never show complete.
That said, I have no problem doing this if you guys don't. Just let me know what missions you want on Ouroboros and I will do my best to get them there.

I got one, there is a mission that Unai Kamen gives where you have to fight banished patheons. I would like this to be flashbackable because it provides a good source to get the badge for the banished patheon mask. Normally I would just exemplar down to the level to kill the stuff but as you know if you go below lvl 32 when you exemplar it just utterly butcheres your enhancements. I hardly feel super as it is and would hate to have to do this hunt these at a lower level and be weaker than that had I done it when I was really at that level. Some of you might say why dont you just kill the grey mask, well there is no challenge in that. -
To be honest I am more worried about the consignment house server than the actual log on server. These past few weeks it has had the worst possible performance. It has gotten to the point where I dont even sell my salvage there unless I got stacks of ten because you practically have to fight it each transaction just to get it to go thru. You have to be extra specially cautions because of the server lag on it you sometimes will enter the price for the wrong item and by the wrong thing or sell something at the wrong price.

I would think there should be SOME way to shut down, not only the account that the spams originate from, but also ALL THE TRIAL ACCOUNTS THEY SENT INVITATIONS FOR.
In theory, this would work it's way backwards, till they got all current, active spammer accounts. As a more drastic measure... you could even institute a reverse ban.... any account that gave a trial code to a confirmed spammer also gets the boot(with an appeal process, for the truely unfortunate/stupid who get suckered into giving a trial code to one of those #$&^ )(#$* #$&^#$ $&^# in nigeria or china, or wherever those muck dwelling bottom feeders live.
Sadly, a more secure e-mail system won't help me. I've only ever gotten ONE e-mail spam.. on Freedom server... on Pinnacle(home is where the beer is), all I ever see is tells. and they manage to find me through multiple days of both /hide AND /ghide.... at all hours of the day or night :-(
