    Chaos Powerset

A powerset based off of trying to combine the various origins of power. Could slot any origin. TOs and IOs would provide normal bonus. DOs and SOs would basically randomize which origin would be used. If it matches the DO it would do x2 benefit and if it matched the SO it would do x3 benefit. HOs would always provide x2 benefit.

    Powers could include.
Attacks- Similar to current powers. Would randomize type- i.e. could have a rad Nutrino Bolt followed by an electric power bolt the following time. Any extra buffs, i.e. to hit debuff can be slotted but only would be used if the appropriate power came up.
Buffs- Randomized benefit similar to the Magic II set bonuses given in a PBAoE style. 1 being a health/end/attack rate/regeneration/recovery style bonus. 2 being a def/resist/to hit style bonus. 3. Bizarre Effects - may boost % chance of proc firing, might apply an aura to team that does nothing but change appearance, might give a stealth bonus to all players but change their look to match areas opponents, Etc.
Debuffs- A direct attack on 1 opponent that would randomize what his/her powers would do. i.e. Opponent may try to fire a Scorch and find he has detoggled his focused fighting or it may suddenly cause him to turn on sprint, etc.

Random debuff on opponent similar to a Radiation Infection.

Randomly change attack. i.e. the broadsword the warrior is using against you suddenly becomes a giant ostrich feather.

Other possibilities abound for a set like this. My idea is initially set up for a defender style class but it could be applied to about any style of class.
  2. Odd that you feel it needs to be increased as it a) has been done repeatably and b) as the only ss on the team I frequent with, they often beat me to objectives. I will agree that part is due to the slotting that they use, as I typically only single slot my ss, but it does cause me to be annoyed by your arguement.

I would also like to point out that flight is really the ONLY usable power in the shard.

I use ss because I like the inherent stealth and because I don't like the drift that comes with fly. Fly has been shown to have a tremendous advantage for ranged characters in that they often can keep from melee due to the new lack of detoggling. My suggestion is if you really do not like the speed of it... use a different travel power.
  3. As for removing the enemies in a group... I wasn't able to. I just deleted the group and started fresh
  4. Often it seems to take quite awhile for edits in character groups to take effect. Had one that I waited for almost an hour constantly going back and remaking the change and never could get it to stick. Went to bed frustrated and when I got on the next morning to try again lo and behold it was there. Guessing you had a similar problem.

    Stumped.

I believe that defeat all missions are sometimes necessary but should be done on small maps. Necessary as in like invasions in which lone survivors could? reproduce and as such again threaten the planet so to speak. There are other examples but I need not go into them.

As a general rule though, defeat all is far to often a pain. I'm sure the devs get tired of petitions dealing with defeat all missions because of 1 idiot enemy hiding in some stupid place and the tab key not being able to locate it.

I prefer the idea of a defeat most or barring that have an option when the mobs get down to the final 5% they automatically start some dialog to allow players to find them with greater ease.
  6. I am very impressed by the new Architect system. It is, the greatest improvement the devs have added to CoH. I'm sure that with time, this will become even greater.

In that belief, I would like to see some or all of the following added in to the Architect system.
    - a difficulty rating system installed as well as the current rating system
-map modifications (add spiderwebs, remove computers, etc.) and effects (fog/fires/etc.)
-ability to use current enemies but repower and rename them. (Freakshow cannot be created in the current editor.)
-allowing to choose to remove some powers from the current system. i.e. not allow AVs to rez but have all other powers from the set.
-allowance of an auto-combine mission arch which can combine 2 or more archs to make a longer (up to 12 mission arch) i.e. #1268 to #14876 provided they are made by same player or same super group.
-information for rate of ticket drops. i.e. a minion will drop 1-2 if set on easy, 3-4 if on medium etc.
-ability to place items and/or bosses in specific locations on a map. Similar to having the 4 AVs together in the Statesman TF.
