So yeah, Im Black Scorpion. Ive held the most awesome job working on the powers team for some months now, alongside Castle and Synapse. Ive been working on a bunch of things I cant really talk about... but I can say Ive been delving into the Mission Architect Custom Critter powers most recently. Ill also be tackling Mission Architect powers issues from here on out. Ive been really impressed by the team here and looking forward to what well put out together.
I am super stoked at the chance to introduce myself to the community. I was a long time player before I became a dev, and I have to say, what a rush! Im very excited to see how the rest of this year goes- cant wait!
So its very cool to officially be here on the boards and just know that youll be seeing me around.

It would be nice if such as the vet travel options, you could skip the prerequisites for Stamina. I for one would skip Swift/Hurdle on all my toons and Health on most of them.

I have a Kin/Elec Defender I'd like to join if I'm on. The weekend is still up in the air for me right now.

Test has been screwed up for me for the past couple of weeks. Does anyone know if the buff still decreases even when teammates are not in the same zone? Or if pets such as Dark Fluffie which previously counted towards the endurance buff will effect the damage buff as well?

Although I'd rather play my 35 Traps/Sonic defender, I'm down for bringing any toon.

I also have an Ice/Kin Corr (needs to unlock zone), but I think I'll bring my Fire/Dark Corr unless there is a need to change.

I guess I am a little flabbergasted at how much people are taking this change to heart. Since IOs came out, they have only introduced more IOs, or buffed them. The only "nerfs" were for ones that were not working right anyway, like that Guassian's set, this BotZ thing, taunt sets not working right in auras, etc. The way people are talking, you would think nerfing these sets is par for the course... when it is extremely rare.
I know the two are technically different, but no one really complains when the addition of new sets or buffs requires respecing and rebuilding old builds... just the nerfs. Just a perspective issue, I know, but it might help those that are stinging about this more. -

And to get back the 3% ranged defense I'm losing I'll either have to sacrifice some of my 375% regen and/or 150% recharge or move a slot out of Hasten and put it into Tough and go after a Gladiator's armor. Neither is something I'm looking forward to doing, I'd hate to reinvest as much time and effort again just to have more bonus changes down the road.
I'll more than likely return to my "50 then forget em" style of play. -

Blessing of the Zephyr:
• Decreased the 2 piece set bonus from this set from +3.125% Ranged Defense, +1.563% Energy and Negative Energy Defense to +1.25% Ranged Defense, +.625% Energy and Negative Energy Defense.
• Decreased the 3 piece set bonus from this set from +3.125% AoE Defense, +1.563% Fire and Cold Defense to +1.875% AoE Defense and +.938% Fire and Cold Defense.
• This set's bonuses were significantly decreased as the 2 and 3 piece set bonuses were far too powerful allowing players to easily stack 5 copies of these buffs for minimal slot usage. -
Anything that fills a map with loads of badguys to pound on is okay by me!
