    Then put something together.

Sure thing. I'm just a victim of Alt-itis and I look at my powers and I draw a blank. Let me get back to you if I find a good selection.

I wish it were as easy as replacing a primary with Ice Armor, but you never know if you're picking bad Ice Armor powers or at least skippable ones.
  2. Well, I'm not asking for help slotting. I just need help choosing powers and when to actually put slots there, and I can just go from there to something else.

That's all I really need right now.

  4. I need a little help here, fellow tankers.

I decided to start a new toon called Blood Runs Cold (+1 if you get the reference), and that means I'm making him an Ice Armor/Martial Arts character.

Could anyone help me out here? I don't mind a cookie cutter build. I just need something to follow since I'm mindless when it comes to building my own character without totally screwing him up.

Now that Vader's theme is stuck in your head, let me get to the point of this post.

    I was following another build:

I removed all of the enhancements until I can make good use of a better one with level 50 enhancements.

I have changed my mind and I want to be able to use my guns for once, instead of depending entirely on my Time powers. I used my guns with my very first Mastermind Thugs/Trap build, and I want to get back to that feeling of shooting along with my pets, not to mention not wanting to just sit there using my Time powers when they pop up.

So if anyone could do me a favor and show me a Thugs/Time build (or even go so far as to suggest a different secondary if it's too much of a problem to get Time and gun-play working together), I would deeply appreciate it. Since I'm only level 10, enhancement suggestions won't be necessary, unless you think the enhancements are good enough that I should be saving up for them, then that's okay.

    Build Request

Well, then, Jibikao, what would you recommend as a primary? Is there anything like Willpower, as in toggle-heavy, that exists in a primary for stalkers? Or should I seek another archetype for that sort of thing?

    Build Request

I know this is going to piss off some people since I'm being deliberately vague, and for that I apologize.

First, allow me to describe my style of play. This will be a bit long, so bear with me.

I primarily fight solo, and I sometimes go into AE situations and get some toggle buffs working. I am someone that can't keep track of temp powers, and I'd rather have a bunch of toggle powers I can use that I can set and forget. That's why I never take a healer role, and my most successful character is a level 39 Bots/FF Mastermind. I would go with a ninja MM, but I've heard that it takes a lot of micromanagement to get them to do what you want to, and I just can't handle that.

To sum it all up, I want to make a MA/Nin or Nin/Nin stalker with fairly decent survivability and good evasion (if that matters) and a fun character with little micromanagement for a good toe-to-toe solo PVE experience.

What would the geniuses of the CoX forums recommend?
  8. Thanks. I think I'll go with WP. I'm better with click-and-forget types than having to remember to press a bunch of things.

Yeah, I know, I'm a lazy player. But, that's why I don't play the support types, because I'm no good when it comes to being mindful of other players. At least I'm not fooling myself into thinking otherwise.
  9. I'm not new to the game or anything like that, Mr_Right. I really like the content and the game. I'm just not so happy with Hero side, because it's pretty boring compared to Villain side, especially with the lack of a MM.

If the HEATs don't work out for me, I'll just stick with Preat/Villain side, or just wait for some changes to the Hero side until I go on over there.

I'm also asking for a good primary/secondary set to go solo and breeze through those first 20 levels. It doesn't have to be good after those first 20 levels, since I'd probably delete that character and start over with someone I'm better at with or more willing to experience.
  10. Because I want to try the epic archetypes, not simply try what Hero side has to offer. Or is it possible to make a Villain, go Hero, and go to level 20 and unlock Hero EATs? I've heard that it can't be done.
  11. I know it seems like a poor choice for a thread title, and it probably doesn't reflect well on me, but I'm looking for a build that will get me quickly to level 20. I've been playing this game for a long time, but I've never liked Hero side. In fact, my main is a level 39 MM for the Villain side, and I find it difficult to play anything other than an MM.

I'm asking this in the hopes that one of the EATs, Peacebringer or Warshade, will change my mind about Hero side, or perhaps even draw my attention enough to give Hero side a chance with other ATs.

I'd understand if I draw the ire of some people that don't like me taking advantage of this new feature, but, then again, chalk it up to someone that's been in alt hell in every MMO he's ever been in, and needs to find something to hold onto to stick with Hero side.
