    I think the devs just need to come out and make a badge that has the title, "Cat Herder" for the league leader for leading x amount of badge runs or something.

  8. heh, no one has received the RHW badge yet (on Liberty that is).

    But yeah....a few things after my last run/attempt at it:


    * If possible have all t4 (t3) Seer Lore pets. Tyrant only has 70% or so resist to Psychic dmg compared to the 90% or so resist to everything else.

    * Might do 1 of 2 things: Either get a full league (24 peeps) or if we can't get 24 peeps, try to limit how many melee ATs we invite.


    I'd rather have a full 24 and just invite whoever will come but...we'll see

    Not ALL of them, but definitely good number of them.

    Why weight content more strongly towards the high levels?

    Leveling up is easier then it's ever been. We blow through zones almost faster than we can run the content, especially in the lower levels. This has been true since the leveling curve was adjusted. Unless you delete or shelve your character at 50, or abandon them before that, they will spend more of their life at that level than they will at any other level range.

    Furthermore, you're more likely to find a team willing to SK up lower level players than 50's wanting to scale down and lose their power, given the choice. It's just more logical to play at level of the highest team member. People want to be able to use the abilities they know they have.

    Also, it's just my observation, but most people who aren't 50 are generally looking to get levels to they can get to 50. They tend to want to get those levels as fast and as easily as possible, and often that's from AE or DFB/DIB. Once at 50 you can slow down and enjoy the story. There's not as much of a rush to get anywhere, aside from the Incarnate system, which for the most part keeps the people grinding for it in trials. I find I pay attention to the actual content for the sake of enjoyment a lot more when I'm on my 50. I made it a point to do the new Night Ward content, not on the characters I had in range, but on my 50s. And while it wasn't torture being exempted down, I did notice and mind.

    So, yeah, if I had my druthers, I see a slight content shift in favor of the ~50 game. I'm never at a loss to get XP when I'm leveling alts, but I'm always looking for stuff for my 50's to do.

    I'm in agreement with you Johnny.

    Only other level range that needs some work (ie. new(er) content) is 35-45.

    Maybe 1 (or 2) zone(s) for that level range (w/appropriate content) and the rest, revamp to lvl 50+ zones like DA is now (or 45-50+).

    Beyond that...meh, lots of zones are skipped/not used a lot on the blue side of things, I think.

    But Water Blast...the one attack's range (forgot name, Water Jet?) went from 80 ft. to 40 ft.


    Will this be turned back into an 80 ft. ranged attack when i24 hits or no?

  16. In the AE mission; are the mobs that run through your DS an ambush by chance?


    I ask because I've seen back in Going Rogue beta (or other betas forgot which) where I would lay down an area location debuff (Time Manip.'s -speed power...forgot name) and the mobs would run right through it with no debuffs on them.


    They'd only get debuffed once the ambush mobs "reached their destination" and started to attack me (or teammates).


    I've also seen very rarely where mobs inside of DS have moved out of the DS field.
  17. I will say that it will make me think about respec'ing my main (Kin/Rad Def) so take the Radiation Blast's snipe power though...

    I think EI has more than 22% ToHit with tactics and what not and I don't really use my nuke (atomic blast)....I always liked the Photon Torpedo sound (and animation) of Rad. Blast's snipe....

  18. Not too bad changes but I would agree with others that +regen isn't that helpful, I think, outside of power sets like Regeneration and/or Willpower (or sets that have high Def to take advantage of being alive for the +regen to help).

    If we have +20 ToHit our snipe attacks are instant and if we have +22 ToHit the snipe attacks are instant and we can move while firing?

    But if we just have our normal 75% ToHit snipe attacks are what we have now?

    Since I like melee quite a bit I just see every new set with some mechanic in it and then I see it for Water Blast (as well as a support set in Nature Affinity) and just get tired or "worried" about every new set having some stacking mechanic that is the "new shiny" to use for everything (like the 4 legged rig being used for "everything", etc...).

  24. While I wouldn't mind seeing this option I think it's not possible (at least for TFs since itrials technically do it only if the cutscene happens at the beginning of the itrial).


    If I remember correctly I remember someone brought this up to the devs (maybe in a ustream thing?) a while ago and they basically said, "while we'd like to it's not possible because of xxxxx (insert technical reason here...don't remember myself...something to do with the cutscene triggers the next part or something?)"


    Again, could be wrong and maybe they can find a way around it but...*shrugs*

    Or maybe it was, "if you're in a team and you have the movies disabled but the other 7 members are watching it..." type of thing?
