Fiona watched the hero regain consiousness, and was a little taken aback when he looked up at her and called her Rachel. 'He must have taken one heck of a hit... ' she thought, purifying the air around him to help him breathe.
A voice shouted to her over the other side of the car, and she shouted back "He'll be fine, but he needs rest. Anybody who can get him a bit further back? Still dangerous here."
She turned back to Pious and said gently "Sorry hun, I'm not Rachel, but you can call me Fiona." She smiled down at him, her hand on the car next to them, rock rising up to cement it to the ground, making it a slightly less dangerous piece of cover.
"Don't worry about it, just relax, you'll be fine."
The battle echoed over their heads, and Fiona wondered if she was telling the truth. -
Fiona watched as the larger, more powerful heroes fought the troll. After her Stalagmite attack, she knew she wouldn't be able to touch it.
Instead, she ran over to the unconsious Pious who was slumped next to the Troll that had hit him. She concentrated on his head, specifically where the wound had hit, trying to heal him quickly.
The fight crashed about her, and she realised that she was risking both their lives by trying to heal him here. Putting her arms under his, she began hauling him to the side, out of danger. It took a minute, but she eventually got him behind the smashed car, and continued trying to revive him.
((Up to you Pious if you want to come back or not)) -
Fiona cursed to herself as she saw the female troll smash her way into the sewers below, but as she saw Pious fall to the ground, she knew she had bigger fish to fry.
The wind keeping her in the air swirled and slowed, gently dropping her to the ground, but the stalagmite that shot up from the earth at the uber-troll was not so gentle.
It hit him at an angle, straight in the back. However, the troll just stumbled, snapped the stone like a rotten twig and threw it back at Fiona.
She ducked and it went dangerously close to her head, impaling itself in the wall behind her rather than herself. Turning back, she uncertainly called out to the other heroes
"Uhh, I think this one is a little tougher than the others..." -
Fiona flew down on the carnage below and watched the female uber-troll start to run. She quickly summoned a huge gust of wind and blew the car away from the heroes, into a wall. Flying after the escaping troll, she concentrated hard on it, making theground rise up around it.
At first the troll broke through the rock rising up, but Fiona kept trying, forcing the ground to rise and hold the troll still. Finally, it tripped on the rock as it burst from the ground, and as she struggled to get up, the rock engulfed her, leaving just her head above the surface.
Fiona decided to put a few more layers of rock over it, just in case, but there was no need. It couldn't move anymore. -
"No way. As if I'm gonna let ya do that. Keep dreamin' kid." Lt. Tech was suited up, as always, and leaning against the wall. He looked bored.
Fiona Myers on the other hand, was pacing up and down the the corridor, obviously annoyed, and shouted back at Tech.
"But how can I prove that I'm worthy of a Hero License if you won't let me go and help! I need to show them I can handle it!"
Tech smirked "Can you? You've stopped some punks. That's it. How do you honestly expect to be able to help with the situation out there? Hell, I don't wanna go out there! No point getting killed 'cause some loony is spreading super-drugs. Pfft. Let the heroes handle it."
Fiona shook with frustration "But I'm a hero! You don't have to come! I'll go myself!"
Tech laughed and shook his head. "I don't think so missy. Go find some more punks."
Fiona snarled and turned away. Then she suddenly turned back, both her hands shooting out and concentrating hard on Tech, standing there so calm and confident of his suit. 'That's fine.' she thought 'I don't want to hurt him...'
The floor exploded upwards as rock burst out from underneath Tech, surrounding him, pinning his arms and legs together, rendering him completely unable to move anything but his head.
Fiona barely heard the threats, curses and insults that followed her as she ran out of the room, closing the door behind her and flying off to look for other heroes she could help. She had no idea how she'd be able to help but... it was worth a try. She just hoped this paid off, or she may well go to jail after all... -

World Villains
6. Walter wants the inferior humans destroyed so he can rule the mighty.
[/ QUOTE ]
Just thought I'd say, Walter has no intention to rule. He actually just wants things to progress as he thinks they should. He knows he is (or at least once was) human, and is therefore inferior to that which he aims for, so there is no way he can rule it, as he is still inferior.
Did that make ANY sense? -
Walter isn't bent on ruling the world, but instead changing everything to a way that he sees is 'better'. However, to him, this means the eventual destruction of the inferior human race, as all those fools lack the vision to see they are nothing but a stepping stone for greatness! >.>
Yeah. -
Also, I'd like to add that Arachnos regularly hires supervillains for work. This completely shifts blame and would be very difficult to trace back to Arachnos. I'm sure they use that to their advantage all the time. Especially with more delicate situations.

It *seems* like a lot of people want it. There was a lot of support for the Chum island UVRP spot ((By the way, we set up a channel for this, named simply "UVRP" if you're interested)) yet once it had started going, only very few people turned up. It seems that despite wanting it to be available, they don't want it enough to actually turn up.
That aside, when people did come, for the most part we had pretty fun RP. Not being sociable does not mean they won't talk with anybody, in fact if you go along the premise that Chum is supposed to be a meeting point for those who want work/people to work for them/parts for stuff/mutual allies etc etc, then everything works quite nicely.
Also, being villains, IC fighting is allowed, just keep it to "if you really have to". In theory, it should all work very well, but it won't work at all if NOBODY TURNS UP!

((Walter will be there, providing permission is given that he can have Jeeves at his side. As his personal bodyguard, friend and pretty much a sidekick, Jeeves is actually less aggresive then Walter most of the time, so long as nobody trys anything.
Jeeves is sentient and highly intelligent, so he'll be contributing just as much as Walter. Thought I'd run it by you first.)) -
Character taking part: Walter Steamworth
Level: 50
Times available: Weekdays: 7 onwards. Weekends: After the 6th (which will be 7onwards), anytime. -
You can count Walter in, any set back for the Rikti is good for him. I'm sure I can convince Alaexia to come along too, as she hates Rikti. Plus, any Rikti tech that is on the ship is always a bonus. Yep, count him in.
-
Fantastic, IC TFs and storyarcs are very fun, give me a poke any time I'm online if one is starting, though only on villains unless it is very low level.
-
Just to let you know, Walter Steamworth's page is finished, and I would like to enter him for Featured Villain.
You can see it Here.
Cheers, and hope you enjoy it. -
I think this coming friday would be a good idea to try a second one, iron out a few problems last time. I'll be there again. Another thing I thought of at work today was that we could make the 'market' side of things a sort of event. Say every fourth friday (just an example) we could do the proper market thing, with Reps and deals and all sorts. This could be good for the coming together of plots, and people could tell the plots/jobs/missions/events/whatever to us in UVRP channel and we could incorporate them into the event. Just an idea.

And the mod must post like the DJ from Jet Set Radio!
[/ QUOTE ]
I would SO love to do that. Like a pirate radio station for villains! That they could tune into... like... through a channel... and listen to it through the channel! Ooooh. Anyway, will think on that some more, might want to finish one major gathering project before starting another :P -
Yeah fan, sure. Give it a go. Would love to see what you came up with. Omy also gave me the rules via MSN so I can always make one myself if need be, but if you want to, go ahead!
-
I absolutely agree.

If you watched the Imps they were IC rping all the time , and they had collective plot about needing to buy a body was a nice touch .....of all those there they did as much RP as anyone ..
[/ QUOTE ]
The imp in question was the small black one insulting everybody. The two who I thought were demons, who needed a body for his friends spirit to inhabit (two of my personal friends, very happy they came) They did a very good job, no problem with them.
Arachnos was a big problem, sinse it put everybody under pressure as they're under watch from Arachnos. In fact, omy said after, that he left because he had no idea why he would be there on his Arachnos character. IC we could say they were coming to the first one to make sure it was a market and not a forming of a secret anti-arachnos group, or even to show they knew about it, even if it was exclusive.
On a good note, I think that Chum is an exellent RP point, later on in the night me and three others went there to do some extra RPing, which ended up in a big RP fight. I think it's a great spot. -
Well, the first night of the villain RP meet 'The Market' went off last night. At the start, around 10 or 12 people showed up, which seemed to be pretty good for a start. However, we hadn't really discussed how the market was actually going to RP, and people seemed to take it as an actual event, rather than an excuse to meet up and RP with each other like GG.
So I myself took the job of Market guy with Walter, taking invites and sorting out peoples problems and finding them contacts "For a price... naturally". It seemed to work well, and I felt the whole 'shady exclusive market' came off pretty good. However, it seemed like most people left not long after it started, bringing the numbers down to around 6 people. This could have been due to the fact that an actual event wasn't prepared, or that since I was the only Market representative, and I could only cohearantly deal with about 2 people at the same time (and that was pushing it RP wise). It would probably work better with more than one Market representative. I think that the locstion worked fine, it was a remote island that seemed a plausible enough location, if a little small. The gigantic rock made things a little difficult, but if people wanted privacy, they could easily get it without leaving the island.
I think considering it was the first day, was largely 'off the cuff' and that people were not at all sure what to expect, I think it came off rather well. Those that stayed gave me good feedback that they enjoyed it. So long as people keep coming, it could become something excellent.
However, maybe there should be less annoying imps that go round insulting everybody. It just makes things difficult. We all know who I mean. >.> -
I would love to make one of Walter Steamworth, but having never played a P&P game (
I can't find anybody in my area who does) but always wanted to, I wouldn't know how to begin really. I could just take somebodies already completed one and replace the things inside with Walter's own details, but somehow I think that wouldn't work, since there's bound to be way more options that would apply to him that I don't know about.
If it's really complicated and not worth an explanation for Walter (His wiki is in my sig if you want an overview of him) then just say so. -
Well, I probably should put my name in here, as I'm beginning to get known in GGOOC, and things seem to be kicking off plot wise for me, so here I am!
@Emperor Lol (handbook thingy in sig)
RP Characters: Walter Steamworth (Mostly him) and some others who are... 'in the works'.
Type of RP: Erm.. I try to get as in character as possible, but will talk OOC with (( )) or [ ] round it.
Always up for RP, plots, discussions or anything really. /t me or PM me or anything, it'll be welcome! Hope to see you in there! -
Nice one Wild, looks great. But, Chum Island? I thought it was going to be at the clocktower
am I missing something?
-
Wish somebody had said that when I suggested it in GGOOC... Bah.

[ QUOTE ]
Also there is a very good resaon not to start this on a Friday. It will be direct competition with the main GG night. We will automatically lose people who will attend GG over a villian rp.
[/ QUOTE ]
Though surely that GG is at 9pm BST, which is why I said for 7pm BST onwards, that gives anybody at least 2 hours VRP before they can choose to go to GG. The main problem before was GG conflictions, and I thought that would solve it.
