I wouldn't quote me on this, but that seems about normal to me.

I play on two different PC's. One with 512 ( ) and one with 1gb.

On the 512 one, CoX generally uses around 300,000 or so. And on the 1gb it uses about 500,000 - 600,000.

Do you have any other things running in the background? Espcially Antivirus/firewall.

Actually, come to think of it, are you sure it's not network lag?

Next time it happens, enter '/netgraph 1' into the chatbox and see if there are any lag spikes.

Alot of that is down to data protection laws in the EU. We have them, the US doesn't. NCSoft Europe can't share customer details with the US side of things. They're technically seperate companies.

How much RAM do you actually have in the first place?

Isn't this pretty much the whole point of the Test Server?

Again, the Test server allows us to give them feedback.

But letting the players have a say in balancing? That will never work. Nobody wants their characters to be nerfed (well, some people see the sense in it) - but most of the time it's for the best in the long run.

A pretty extreme example, but look at Regen Scrappers. By far one of the easiest scrapper sets to play. And this is after some pretty giant nerfs. Anyone remember Instant Healing being a toggle? I was pretty [censored] when they changed that, but in all honesty, Regen is actually more fun to play these days.

Then when we've all hit level 60, they'll have to raise it to 70, then 80 and so on.

Just hit 'Print Screen'

It saves them in the screenshots folder (in your main install folder). Handily date and time stamped.

And '/screenshotui 0' to turn of the UI. '1' to turn it back on again.

Just had a look, and it seems like you can't.

But that would be a good way around it. Offer online time cards...after all, it's only the serial number that people need.

The players seem to believe that less CC is good. Isn't it interesting that in this PvE oriented game, players are happy with lots of CC and in the PvP game, players are not.

While I've noticed a massive drop in my global friends, that's only to be expected. Most of them have been playing since launch.

If anything though, I'm finding it easier than ever to get a team on villains. Although this is around level 23 or so.

You say it would be in keeping with comic books...but I'm having a hard time thinking of a character who has changed that significantly.

Since it works in safe mode, try gradually turning on all the settings you would normally have until the problem reoccurs. Once it does, you'll know what option is actually causing the troubles.
