  1. Are you using the more popular globals to form/find teams, Agonus? I find that the server load dots accurately reflect the activity in the major global teaming channels.
  2. Yeah, thanks for your hard work. I don't think I could play this game without Mids.

    Inconceivable.
  4. The only combos I use on my db/da scrap are Attack Vitals and Sweep. I don't miss the others one bit, and didn't bother with them while i leveled.
  5. Gonna have my 78 month badge in three weeks. I stay because this game never bores me and the people are top notch.
  6. Web Grenade works real well with Ignite.

I love traps/AR, and it's only gotten better as I've leveled up.
  7. What was changed and when? My fort is fine.

    Empathy Opinions

Seeing a PBAoE heal on auto screams "bad" to me, and I make a playernote about it. Defenders who don't take their attacks get kicked, because ignoring half your powers is awful.
  9. Life changing (for me) procs:
    • Theft of Essence +end proc. Made more difference to my end bar than Stamina for my fave scrapper, a DB/DA.
    • Ragnaproc. Stuffed into Caltrops, Rain of Fire, anything that sticks around a while.
    • Achilles' Heel -res proc. In anything, but especially noticeable in my Mercstermind and in Acid Mortar. Also makes a good showing in Katana.
    • Lockdown Chance for +2 Hold proc. Amazing in a lot of things.
    • Soulbound Allegiance Chance For Buildup proc. Made my assault bot into a god of destruction.
    • Performance Shifter +end proc. Does it even need to be mentioned
    • A duo that should always go together: Miracle +rec proc and Numina's +rec/+regen proc. Delicious and in my opinion mandatory.

This post is a lie in and of itself. Here's one time you flat out lied to try to misrepresent your position. Your other threads, at least those of recent note, are entirely predicated on you consciously and intentionally misrepresenting game mechanics and your game experiences. You are not a credible or trustworthy person, as your post history clearly shows, and yet you expect people to treat you as such and accept your outlandish claims as gospel truth.

If he slows his attacks, he reduces his damage output even further, and becomes exposed to more damage. Having less health in addition to everything else, he faces greater chance of defeat.
Is this hypothetical defender not using his primary, or what? You know, that entire powerset that does that fancy buff/debuff thing? Combat in this game is not as simple as "burn end, emit damage, win." Even you know that.

on preview: Are you really suggesting that your "crusades" are why the game experienced some changes? Do you think the devs look at your posts specifically as a barometer for balance issues?

Ultimo_, please explain this. If the endurance problem is so rampant, why aren't more people experiencing it to the degree you do? Also, if you are having such a problem with endurance, why do you refuse to take the advice of others and learn how to manage your endurance? Other people are able to play the most end-heavy sets in the game without issue. Why can't you? Why is it so important to you that you not change or learn anything?

It's exactly the right way to go about it.

What they should have done, and it would be a half measure as well, in my estimation, is simply raise the global recovery rate. That is, EVERYONE would recover endurance faster. Those with Stamina at L20 would recover it EVEN FASTER than that, perhaps to the point of not needing to worry about endurance unless faced with sappers or very long fights.
And this is what they wanted to avoid. At the top end, the devs felt that end recovery, using tools available, was fine or at least close enough to fine that it needed no alterations. Low levels were another story, so they gave us free fitness. I realize this doesn't mesh with your previously stated goals of tankmages that never stop for anything and are never challenged by the game, but it is what it is.
  14. This is the absolute best resource for anyone who plays support.
  15. I can't even imagine not having the Mu pool, for the AoE -kb immobilization alone. The armor is nice too I guess, but whatever, nothing lives through the lightshow for very long anyway.
  16. Mercs don't suck; they are a Mastermind set, so they are awesome pretty much by dint of that alone That said:
    • They whittle enemies away with small-number DoTs of the most-resisted damage type in the game
    • What little AoE they have is (mostly) tight cones; the ones that aren't tiny cones are on recharge timers that would bore Methusalah to death
    • Their controls are on recharge timers that are too long to say the least
    • Serum is terrible and needs a lot of love
    • Specops have pointless stealth ability
    • Medic thinks he is Jack Dempsey
    • Insert more bitterness here
So yeah. Mercs are the worst of the Mastermind primaries, but once again, they are still a Mastermind primary, so you are still easymodo capable. My first MM was a mercstermind and I still love him, but my other masterminds make him look like a chump.

    Missing inf?

Your hero merit cost you 20M inf as well as the 50 merits. Working as intended.

Boo! Don't sit on things if they're ready.
  19. Work up to 60M inf. Make three hero merits. Trade them for either 15 random rolls or a couple-three valuable recipes. Profit.
  20. I've only done it without nukes and not failed once, but I do think it's odd to only pull nukes from the list of approved temps.
  21. I didn't know this happened, but it sure explains a lot of stupid/random things that have happened to me ingame.
  22. This is documented in the patch notes discussion thread, and the devs are aware.
  23. I'm pretty sure the lag isn't mainly from the capes but from the shield buffs they are dispersing amongst themselves. Capes would be rendered clientside and wouldn't cause the sort of delays that are/were common in the valley o' lag.

That said yeah if people's PCs are not top shelf the capes might be causing some framerate issues.
  24. I have a hard time not going Soul with all my brutes. Gloom is just amazing, there's an AoE power (that I've never taken ) and Darkest Night is fricking great. That said I have an Invulnerability brute that is looking at the energy pool with lust.
  25. Devs are aware of the problem and it's being looked after, hurray!
