    Solo the Posi TF

    Yeah, I was bored playing alone early one day and though maybe I'd make a toon to get some merits when I'm all by myself like that. That was before they made the change to Posi. I actually got that build from someone else. It looked a little funny to me for some of the reasons you're talking about. I've come up with some other toons that are my main focus, but that toon is sitting on my alt account half finished now. Just figured I'd see what people thought about it. And I know the merits were worth it if you can get a good toon to do Posi. I believe it was 60 merits for the whole thing before (not sure now), and I know that Leo and I did a 1 hour Posi before. So you're getting the same merits you get on a speed ITF. And you can do it alone. Worth blasting through the posi if you've got the toon. Admittedly, making a build just for this is something you do when you're either A) Bored out of your skull, or B) Have way too much money to just waste.
  4. Don't have a build yet. I'll put one up. If anyone else has one first, feel free to start off the thread. I know the primary has a bubbler bot, so I figured it would be easy to get alot of defense out of the build

    Solo the Posi TF

    I figure a scrapper is the best bet at low level to solo the Posi TF. I've heard Kat/regen is good for that. I've got a build to use for just that purpose, with mules and such. Any input? Any other builds for this AT, other power sets, even other AT's. It's all welcome. Even discussion on the best way to solo this TF are welcome, but mostly builds.

    Kinetic Archer

    I rolled a kin/archer. Looking for some feedback. As far as specific preferences: Going for all the best kinetic stuff obviously. FS/Transfusion/Inertial reduction slotted as well as they can/need to be. I like venge. And for soloing, I think it's not a bad idea to use soul drain between FS, for nonstop damage bonus. Also, soul transfer is nice. I like self rez.

  9. By the way, put your ragnarok in your Lightning ball, you'll have good damage on Posi TF. Put 3x recharge and 3x hamidon dam/range in your nuke.
  10. I've got an Elec/fire/force mastery 50 on Triumph. I only just respecced him, and haven't had much time to test out force mastery yet. I had fire mastery before, and it worked pretty well for me. You really have to manage him, and you'll definitely make progress towards your debt badges. But I usually have plenty of time between deaths, and Rise of the Phoenix is usually charged unless I really just push it too far. But there's always bonfire in a pinch, and if I really need it, I use phase shift immediately after Phoenix to escape.
    He was really good at PBAoE even with just lightning ball, short circuit, and his nuke. I've got really good recharge on that toon, and a lot of purples. With hasten, you can juggle lightning ball and short circuit and just use those two. Spec short circuit with endurance mod and you'll suck the end out of enemies so fast, they'll be sucking wind and just wheezing at you while you hit them with lightning ball in between circuits. I've tanked 5 minotaurs on ITF with my blaster before, while the actual tank was off pulling generals. It's awesome, elec definitely has its place. On my last respec, I added fire sword circle. We'll see how that does for my damage output, but judging from the effectiveness of a hastened lightning ball/short circuit juggle, the extra fire PBAoE should rock socks.
