  1. The Doctor is in Pocket D! Be the first to find him, and win 10 mil Inf!
  2. I'm not sure if there's enough interest, but I'll be running the TF in my Doctor's costume anyway.

    See you in Praetoria!

Edit: Just noticed today, (Sept 1.) that I said Praetoria instead of Cimerora.
  3. ACtually, I never said anything about RP; I'm only suggesting themed costumes.

    Humm..... an intriguing proposition....

Yes, I did indeed mean 8 Eastern.
  5. Feel free to franchise the idea, Everyone!
  6. Yep.

Before you ask, I am completely serious.

I'm thinking the one most suitable is the Imperious Task Force; because really, with all the Romans, Giant Robots, and Dark Energy Aliens, not to mention the necessary Time Travel to get there, it's the sort of thing you'd expect to see in a Doctor Who episode. (The other ones I had in mind was one of the shadow shard tfs, but that would exclude any villians people wanted to use.)

So when are we doing this?

This Saturday at 8 PM, of course, to coincide with the premiere of 'Let's Kill Hitler'.

Hmm... I suppose the Fifth Column is another reason that the ITF is a sound choice.

    Here's the deal:

You sign up in this thread to lay claim to the particular Doctor you want. Then, you make a costume as close to that Doctor's as you can, and run the entire TF in that costume. Anyone interested? (Duplicates are allowed, of course!)

Edit: You know what? I'll open this up to Companion themed costumes as well. I'm sure someone would love to make a River Song or Jack Harkness Costume.

    Current Doctors Claimed:

    Mentalshock - Eleventh
  7. Damn, that is not a choice I'd want anyone close to me facing.

Whatever happens, we're here for you.
  8. Arc ID: 511348

Description: Marcus Cole has ruled over Praetoria with an Iron fist for far too long. The Resistance has created a desperate plan to remove him and those loyal to him from power once and for all. The final battle for Praetoria has begun, and it would only take one person to change the course of destiny.

    Recommended Alignment: Villain

    Please Play and Review.

Do you find there isn't enough Time in the day to do what you need to?

Got a nasty past mistake that's keeping you up at night>

Now you too can change the past! With New Time Control!

Turn back the clock on unsightly stains on your life, and make yourself a better world!*

Coming Soon to a City near you!

*Time Control is not responsible for any Paradoxes, Angry Timelords, and accidental erasure from the Space/Time Continuum.
  10. Wait, Hyper, you're at 3 years?

You started the month before I did!
  11. My character names vary widely.

My first character, Mentalshock is so named due to him being an elec/mental blaster.

My brute, Talon Pyre is a claws/fire.

I have another blaster named Lestock, after the mascot of the Edmonton division of the PPCLI. (That's the Princess Pats Canadian Light Infantry, FYI)

My tanker, Keltarn is so named because it sounded cool.

Flux Inductor has been the source of some confusion on protector, because there is another player with a global name that I keep getting mistaken for. I keep expecting them to make another character that will be mistaken for me. It's almost a running gag on Protector at this point. (And the confusion was completely unintentional on my part, I just thought the name sounded cool for an elec/kin troller)

Neurovolt is the praetorian version of Mentalshock. (Elec/Psy Dom)

I have other characters, but I don't recall why I chose the names.
  12. And I spent most of the time as a corpse, anyway...
  13. Actually, we went ahead and put one together in your honor, anyway.

  16. I'm not talking about REAL cats.

Nemesis Automatons that LOOK like Cats.

I'm a Cat person. I know how evil them critters can be, and I certainly don't want one out to get me.
  17. Hmmm...

    Explosive Cats.

    That is all.
  18. So, what's the consensus?

    A few TFs
    Setting up a Hami Raid
    Or Incarnate Trials?
  19. As it is Canada Day, I want to do something special.

Pick one of your toons, make a Canadian Themed Costume and..... what?

    Hami raid?
    Incarnate Trials?
    TF Marathon?

I am open to suggestions, after all, we still have much of the day ahead of us.

At this point, I'm leaning towards doing some Incarnate Trials, but a Hami raid would be nice, especially with the new AoE buffs...

    Thanks, Z!

Beating up Fusionette? I'm gonna do that again!
  21. I like the idea of calling it Serenity, but I have another suggestion:

    Legends
  22. Really? I think that it's probably best to reserve judgement. I know my gut reaction is that this could go horribly wrong, but it could also have the reverse effect, and end up making this game even greater than WoW. (Odds of that happening are roughly the same as my spontaneously taking my bosses position. If that should happen, *EVIL GRIN*)

The Time Manipulation set has caught most of my attention with this announcement, anyway.

I want my B's to win, but either way I will be able to say I watched an excellent series.
That's exactly how I feel about it. My grandfather wants to cheer for Vancouver because it is the Canadian team, but he also wants to cheer for Boston because he had a shot at playing for them 60 years ago. (His getting a stupid Shin injury put an end to that.) Either way, It's been some good games.
