It is definately a competition to be #1, but I would like to see more than total prestige being measured, for example:

Characters active over the last month
Prestige earned last month
Levels gained last month
New additions last month
% active/inactive over the last month
Badges gained last month
Most tanks/scrappers/khelds etc

You can show the above for last year and all time as well. It allows the top SG's to remain top because they are also going to top the activity and monthly prestige charts, but lets the newer SG's get some recognition (New members and levels gained will probably be ruled by new SG's).

Actually because I think a good SG can make or break a persons gaming experience I would like to see a proper SG roster where you can put up your SG rules, an SG description and all the stats are updated automatically so a newbie could just sort by whatever he is interested in and read up about the SG's. There could be an 'apply' button which would send emails to the SG leadership.

(If I hadn't joined the Handprints I would probably have quit the game long ago)

Off course it's a competition, every SG wants to be number one.

We all want to be able to say YES WE ARE NUMBER ONE! /e cheer, we all want to be able to tell prospective recruits that yes you are in actual fact being asked to join the number 1 SG on the server....lucky you

We all want to wear it as a badge of achievement ( makes note theres no SG badge for being no.1...weird ) and show it off on our various SG sites.

Off course its a ruddy competition, the games geared to be competitive....everything in this game is a competition, even making and showing off a costume is competitive now....cossie contest anyone?

Mystery gift , would work just like the mystery gift you get at christmas only it would give a random item like a recipe or special enhancement maybe even a huge inf boost or a bar of xp.

OK going to throw something in here, I dont want to turn your thread into a "ZOMG SERVER MERGERS!!!" but there is a way round loosing data and that's migrating all the data to the US data servers, that way we keep are own servers and gain the added benefit of playing on the US servers.

Indeed, maybe not a full merger but separate forums under one site ( US forum, UK forum, EU forum, etc etc). with its own dedicated community reps.
I really don't think that would be so bad a thing.

hmmm ok, check your firewall exeptions and see if the coh updater is in that list..if not add it.

BTW what antivirus/adware programs do you have running?

Is that graphics card a recent addition to your rig?
If so check to see if its installed properly, find the most recent drivers for the card.
Also check to see if that card needs to be hooked up to the internal power. ( i have actually put in a few cards and didn't make sure of this...resulting in really crappy performance heh )

Looks like the specs of my old pc including the 2mg broadband connection. The old girl couldn't run COH in quality graphics mode without a major frame rate drop, so if you haven't done this already try going into Options>>> graphics...turn off advanced graphics and scale the slider to "recommended graphics"

Kill all missions......love those missions, nothing I like more than to be running around inside a mission looking for one single generic nasty for an hour that's usually stuck in between a box and a wall....

OK then so the top 100 SG listing isn't bugged but if it is gauging the listing over all prestige gained from when the SG was formed doesn't that mean that a lot of the SG's on that list may well be inactive over a good period of time and the only thing that's keeping an inactive SG on that list is the huge amount of prestige they gained when they were active?
So an entire SG could just dissolve (which does happen) but still be number one in that list even though no one would even be in the SG?
That does sound rather unfair....

Umm maybe he registered his account on the US site by accident, pretty easy thing to do really.

I'm sorry I don't recall any way of transferring an account from one district to another, you could try contacting customer support and asking them.

Ok I understand what you guys are saying about the top 100 listing but the show all super groups function shows the same 100 SG's in the top 100 SG's list...and that's it.

It never seems to change even though new super groups spring up on a daily basis.

I was just thinking maybe the super group listings have gotten the same fate as the info terminals around paragon city, broken beyond belief.

My point is it never changes. It seems to have been static for a few months now and many SG's have been created in that time. You would expect the order of the listing to switch and have new additions every now and again.

When I'm in Atlas one of the things I like to do is go into city hall every now and again and check over the top super groups. But for a good long time now the top 100 has seemed to stay static, no change in the listing what-so-ever.
Even when I just check the registered super groups, again it seems to have been static for a good long time....no new super groups show up.

Is it bugged?

Is there another way to check the active and top super groups from a third party site?
