Quote:I have absolutely zero expectations, but I figured there was no harm in leaving my info. If something happens then great! If not then all I have lost is a few minutes of my time, which I think is a very small price to pay for the chance (no matter how slight) that an artist such as Christopher Robin may feel like drawing the character.BUT... I wouldn't count it out either. You never know what toon is going to inspire him or when he'll crank out a freebie just for giggles *shrug*
Besides, all I am doing is what the signature told me to do! I cannot be held responsible for my easy suggestibility!

I do not know if this thread is still going, however I followed the orders in your signature... never let it be said that I never did exactly what a signature told me to to (Its a weakness... like Kryptonite but for OCD.)
Your artwork is truly beautiful ChristopherRobin and I would consider myself privileged to have my character drawn by you.
So as per the signature, some reference shots of Nurse White.

I still sometimes go and sit on that building in front of (and just off to the side) of the Kings Row Train station and just reminisce.

Be that as it may, as far as I am considered without Generic Villain, it's simply not the same Fight Night.
Do you even know what number Fight Night this would be? -
Quote:Its a different Fight Night.Used to love taking my 50 Invuln tank to this every Friday. She got her butt kicked (pines for the good old days when Invuln meant Invuln!) but it was always fun none the less! Glad to see this is still going on, keep up the good work.
If memory serves me correctly the PvPEC Fight Night is just a rename of their old Kickball Tournament and not the old Virtue Fight Nights that GV used to host. -
Oldschool to me is the Kings Row Bar scene and when SG Bases were on the rooftops of buildings.
I kinda miss those days.

Lizzy's personality is loosely inspired by Lorelei Lee (Marilyn Monroe) in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. but then again so are most of the "Dumb Blonde" stereotypes we are all so familiar with today.
A Beautiful, brilliant, blonde, gold digging bombshell who lives in a world of her own. Perhaps not a Super Hero in the strictest sense, but she certainly was a glamorous exaggeration of everything seen as feminine and desirable at the time.
After all, who doesn't remember that Diamonds are a Girls best friend? -
Make sure your names are available and then:
Do It. -
What I am wondering is if people would be willing to do this on a more regular basis?
Like say every fortnight (2 weeks) so the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month?
I had a lot of fun and I really don't RP "Under the Butt" or In the D, so my RP is limited to the occasional meeting of friends, and while I wouldn't like the obligation of doing this every weekend, every other weekend would be often enough to get some good RP in, while not being so frequent that it becomes a chore, and would allow people whom missed out to not have to wait a month to catch up.
Thoughts? -
Quote:I haven't seen that on Virtue for about 6 years... IE the first few months City launched. You guys havn't been bombarded with trolls/flamers telling you that you're gay for rping? It seems that since GR launched we're getting a lot of people on Virtue who don't respect other players' choices on how they play the game. I was venturing with a new Virtueian and he kept complaining when me and three others on the team were RPing, in the end the team leader had to kick him.

And I said it just wasn't the same without your bubble of sunshine and good will!
-
That's a really good idea Heroid! Although I think I need to play with Photoshop a lot more before I'm ready to take the training wheels off, but I really like how versatile the Program is, its like Powerboost but for teh arts!

I'm really sorry you missed it as well Haetron, it just wasn't the same without your bubble of sunshine and good will!

Quote:The Eyes look a bit too real because they are, I was never very good with eyes so totally cheated and took the original ones in the photograph and tried to blend them into the picture.Yeah, I thought that was just some filter work and a recolor on the eyes and lips. You dropped it to lines and rebuilt it from there? Impressive!
The lips follow the opposite transition, I couldn't get them to look right so they were drawn on top of the original lips and then the original ones were removed. When I tried doing that with the eyes they looked slightly crossed and and doll like so after a few hours I gave up and cheated, but I should probably open it up again and do some more to the eyes because now I'm obsessing over them.
As for risqué, she is all perfectly covered! Absolutely nothing "bad" is showing anywhere and I have seen TV commercials and people in Atlas Park showing far more skin!

Quote:I didn't draw the entire thing from scratch, like I said its a composite piece where about half of it is hand drawn and the other half photoshop magic. Wish I could freehand the line art but in all my 6 years of art in school I was never very good at line art so reducing it to lines was where most of the photoshop magic came in.Sorry, I take back my query--I hadn't realized you drew the entire thing from scratch.
Originally I was following this neat Vector Art tutorial I found, but then I decided I didn't like the end result so I started to jazz it up and then used the wonders of Photoshop to make all imperfections less imperfect.
Generally I don't post stuff because because like the guy says to Banky in Chasing Amy, "So you're a tracer?" -
Attempting coloring techniques in Photoshop.
Took a portrait, reduced it to lines and then recolored it. I'm slowly working my way to coloring pure line art.
The First Picture is a Photograph, The 2nd picture is half hand drawn and half filter effects. -
Right now Nursey is just a little bit more naughty and MDK may be on Santas Nice list this year!

Servers were down for a looong time so I decided it was time I made the move from Paintshop Pro to Photoshop and I decided for my first attempt I would make my City of Heroes character, Nurse White and I thought I would share the results with you all!
Here is the finished piece
I have to say I am amazed at how much more awesome and powerful Photoshop is vs my 7 year old version of Paintshop, I wish I had made the move earlier!
Edited to make it more SFW Friendly.
