Quote:Could it be that fatalnova actually PM one (or all) of the Red names and they answered his/her/its PM?
Why would you assume a Red name would send a PM to a player out of the blue?
Why do i get the feeling that one will just PM you out of the blue now just for laughs and [in rabbits words] giggles? -
Can i just say that the magic man arc is in my top 2 arcs of all time in this game
Great job on them! Cant wait to see the quality of your arcs since im a big fan of the ones you done so far

Quote:Yes, however, the account code wouldn't apply to your EU account, meaning you'd have to buy the NA box for the disks and then by the EU code to apply to your account, missing out on the bonuses (which likely won't be able to be applied to the EU account) and the free month
But purely for the sake of having an actual up to date disk on , it'ld work? Well thats something i suppose. -
Quick question here.
I have an EU coh box but am able to access both the NA and EU servers on it purely by changing this
"C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\cohupdater.eu.exe"
to this
"C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\CohUpdater.exe"
Couldnt this just be done just as easy with an NA GR box? Your account login details are obviously the same but would it matter? Just need to make 2 copies and change one of their targets to have both NA and EU servers? -
[QUOTE]Questions about War Witch's population solution that was hinted in the 6th anniversary go unanswered.
Quote:but we are looking at designing an in-game system that will help solve the problem Quote:Questions why we don't get a Going Rogue boxset go unanswered. Quote:Next up: the box. This is a big issue and I know some of you are pretty cheesed about it. So here is the information I got (which shouldn’t come as a surprise, really): because the game is online, and our consumers are predominantly online, it makes business sense to distribute online. Most MMO gamers in the EU are very net savvy and comfortable purchasing/downloading online. So NCsoft sells online because that is how more and more people are buying games, and we do get most of our new players from online distribution. There are boxes on the shelves in the U.S. because, from a distribution perspective, there is more demand here—a much lower percentage of people in the US have broadband compared to the EU. (I didn't know that part.) Plus online distribution and production is much less complicated in the US, with only a single language version and a handful of major retailers and distributors, versus three languages and dozens of distributors in Europe. So there are no plans for a box on shelves in EU, but you will see Going Rogue available soon in a variety of digital stores across Europe. Quote:Questions as to why they can't just reverse the NA-EU transfer that was done around the EU launch go unanswered.
Quote:We get about 1 red name post a month.
Quote:You're now X% of the total player base, not 100% of the EU, so your attention should be around the same as any other X%
You have 10 children, you give 9 children a luxury lifestyle and the 1 remaining child, you give enough for them to survive.
Sorry if i seem to moan a lot about this kind of thing btw
Passionate moaner here people! -
Just incase anybody missed it, on the comments section of the video on facebook, COH says this:
Quote:Hey - here's a little extra information from Matt "Positron" Miller: The Incarnate system will add layers of complexity and power that fits in with what players are familiar with in comic books. You will have to earn these abilities, and it may be some of the most challenging content youve ever experienced. -
Why is everybody talking about GR? Doesnt the video say its a prelude to GR and only part 1?
Im expecting part 2 onwards to be more about GR and then the future of the game
Part 1 = past
Part 2 = present
Part 3 = future

Quote:come to think of it yes the 'not having an up to date installation cd of Cox is realli pissing me off' we get ours from download and it takes hours (somtimes days for a few of us) to download and install then get 6 years worth of patches, this boosts our monthly download limit up somthing crazy ecspecially when u have to reformat your comp and do the whole tedious process over and over not resubbing after this month like i said minght pop back in when the release of GR comes but if things havnt improved by then or player base is continually low then ncsoft and the devs can go screw themselves and will not get another penny off me
While i was visiting my mother on the weekend, asked my brother to reinstall the game on his pc. Up where they live they have very limited internet connection and according the updater, was going to take roughly 70 hours to download . . . . .
He soon cancelled it -
One thing that we have to accept without a doubt is that nothing is going to happen until a few months after GR is released at the earliest.

Just throwing this in there but . . . . .

Quote:Dont even remember anything being mentioned about this last week
The new world record beats the old one by less than a week, after 1091 superheroes turned up at a rugby tournament at Twickenham Stadium in London last weekend. -

Quote:Clangers! Yay!! That and Bagpuss were my two favourites when I was really little.
As for the OP, I wouldn't be citing that as an example of a good quality kids show. If you'd gone with The Fraggles or Sesame Street I'd be in full agreement.
Never heard that show The Fraggles to be honestShows i watched when i was young were
Red Dwarf [just bought series 8! Yes the one with a giant dinosaur in!]
Dinosaurs
The original power rangers [before it just got stupid]
Crystal Maze
This virtual reality dungeon and dragon tv show which made you look like the contestants were actually there and had to be guided by voices [cant remember the name] -
Do good quality children shows from our youths like this just dont exist anymore?

This is totally ontopic btw since this show used to be my umm hero? yeah that'll work surely! my hero! -
Quote:Hi folks, this might actually be a bit redundent since I would imagine most of the old posse aren't around anymore but if you are then I'll see you again in Paragon City. I saw the devs finally got around to adding some new powersets and that i19 will finally give something for level 50s to do so I'll be brushing off SFX since retiring him over 2 years ago and heading into the frey once more.
Anyway, cya on the streets and around the forum.
WB i too remember your AV from when i used to read the old NA forums.
Sorry to say though but you missed a cossie comp last thursday night -

I still play on union at least 1 day a week. I play on freedom now because i'ld like to make characters that i can log in and easily make a character that i can build without having "ok i know i have to solo" in the back of my mind when creating one.
All my union characters are toons that are more than able to be good in both a team and solo very well. On freedom i now have currently two mid level characters which are based more for teams.
The only reason i still have me EU account active/log in one day a week is because of the time i had invested in to it and my friends on the EU side. -

Quote:Can anyone think of any marketing EU side in the last year?
The only mention I know of in a British gaming mag manged to ignore the EU servers
Went to my local game store today and saw coh in there today on a two for 15 offer, saw champions there too and the offer was 3 for 15 lol.
My brother is thinking about playing the game on a perma basis, he asked me what server would be the best to play on . . . . . . how could i tell him to play on EU servers when [as a new player] he'ld have a better experience playing with a much higher population/more options/ingame events.
Appreciate that server mergers would take both time and money but how long have we said about this? -
Quote:Now look what they done! They broke rabbit :'(
Oh dang, and here I was thinking I wouldn't rant about this any more.
Sorry all.
