The following are all [ok mostly!] true facts.
- The EU playerbase numbers are NOTHING compared to the US.
- Our entire server list peak time numbers barely reach half of freedoms peak time numbers.
- A large majority of EU players have said at least once that numbers are low and would like the opportunity to transfer their account to the US server list.
- A large majority of EU players however also say that they like the community feel that the EU playerbase has [in that we all mostly know eachother].
- Us EU players do sometimes fall into the trap that our entire playerbase are part of the main global channels such as sals/defiant events/etc where the majority of events are organised.
- We have a very wierd sense of humour.

Ok see im one of those people that just click the inspiration that i want
If my character has such little time to react to a situation that it NEEDS that split second extra to live . . . . then well to be honest i aint been in that situation before hehe.
BTW gratz on your time, though -50 carnage points for leaving all those enemies aliveMakes a carnage person sad to see so many enemies standing!

Quote:Our "World" consists of two city realms, both of which are over run by crime and under the constant threat of destruction or conquest. It's not a world any sane villain would want to rule, but if it makes you feel any better, I have conquered it 5 times so far, each time leaving it a blackened, haunted wasteland devoid of any traditional virtue.
So, you know, it's coming a long pretty well actually.
Villains pwn.
You havent conquered MY world just yet -
-
ooooo so lets say, a team of heroes with 1 of each standard AT against a team of villain ATs . . . . . who would win in theory?
My money is on the heroes because we have our own super european hero team!
Bring on the villains i say! Heroes are the worst people to fight, because you can never know when they'll crack and do something totally unexpected -
Quote:I've had that happen before but thats usually quickly solved in the cases i've experienced, by that i mean it doesnt force me to log off to fix the problem.I have that happening aswell, since somewhere in July. Never had it before that.

Dont know if this is related to server lag or not but here it goes.
I can visit WW at any one time during game play and the screen loads up within a few seconds. However if i zone somewhere and then visit WW again without logging off, the chance of "lost connection to server" message pops up forcing me to relog is VERY high, think like 99 times out of 100 it happens. -

Quote:Hey guys. This might be a little vent-ish. I also might even get teh Flame. Do you guys feel like this?
Why do we actually have to GO TO a market to buy the recipe pieces and why do we then have to GO TO a University or a SG base to actually make the enhancements? Why wasn't there just a system where I can type /ww for the wentworth interface or /InvTab for an invention table or something? I get annoyed by going back and forth in steel canyon to get my toons revamped.
And then the market idea is starting to annoy me. Though it can be a lucrative business, the market is horrible right now. Cost way too much to buy goodies there. And it could be little simple common salvage.
I'm trying to figure out if I am missing something and making this thing harder than it really is. I have a few 50s and numerous alts. but today finally annoyed me. After all these years, I get annoyed today.
Also, to compliment my annoyed state of mind with the University and the Wentworth's being actual location instead of a handy pop up interface where ever I am in the CoX world I hate having restrictions on how many salvage pieces and recipes I can carry.
The loyal CoX-ers may enjoy all of this back and forth from place to place. They may even enjoy the market gouging. SIGH.....sorry guys. Don't flame me up.
Level via MA and sell your stuff = not so much money
Level via normal ways and sell your stuff = guaranteed riches
By the time you have reached level 20[ish], you should be sitting on quite a bit of money from just selling salvage! -
Quote:With I16 coming I made a DBZ homage on test with a Rad/EM Blaster.
Colour the Rad powers Blue and they look pretty DBZesque. Especially Neutron Bomb!
Neutron bomb was the first power i changed in set on test, blue = gokus spirit bomb, dark = freezas death ball. Yeah i've got a lot of new alts im going to make -
Didnt you hear? Due to our servers perma unstableness [that a word?] we're having a dbl xp year!
hehe
-
Quote:I think that might be because they wanted players to feel "super" from the start, which means getting new powers will mean you expand mostly sideways rather than upwards.
Which isnt the way most of my characters work, a lot of them are basically super heroes in training OR just havent realised their full potential yet.
Edit: Think i said before that i like my characters to have some kind of meaning in a gaming world, not to feel like a soldier in an army, but a hero amongst heroes! -
Just a quick throwout to let you all know that in issue 16, if you exemp down to the zones level you still get xp.
So a level 49 will still get xp in sirens call! Good news surely! -
During the first quarter of the video where you have the wordings pop up, i think a "teaser" as such of kheldians would be nice between each page.
Otherwise very nice video. -
Quote:I can't help myself. Every time it comes to design the gloves.. Monstrous hands is almost always chosen. I suppose I play a lot more villains than heroes, but even then two of my four heroes also have them! ;as'lfgasg
What costume piece can you not stay away from? Are you down right addicted to it...?
Every single one of my characters has a sort of street fighting "cool" costume which 9 times out of 10 usually has the wraps goggles and the fingerless gloves option.
Fingerless gloves + elec/fiery aura on them looks awesome -
Quote:*puts batteries in the bunny*I'm sorry, but I have to share this as I am still laughing. The comment above netted me the following Reputation comment:
"If all you want is new mission content than you dont understand the spirit of CoH. GTFO."
Curiously, it was for positive rep. I'm glad you agree with me whomever you are.
I've been playing this game for almost 50 months. I think I pretty much know the spirit of CoH, thank you. I have one of each AT at 50 (including HEAT and VEAT), for both sides, plus a smattering of repeated ones. There isn't anything in this game I haven't done and, in some cases, redone more then once. I've done every arc there was to do. So please indulge me when I say this Issue holds no content whatsoever except for tin foil and cardboard buildings.
Your opinion can be whatever you want it to be. Mine is and will be the above.
Carry on.
go go blue! You show them! -

Quote:considering how lame Cimerora was I'm glad they didn't try to make any new zones :/
For the content thats actually inside the zone [now], the size of it is roughly about right i'ld say. A zone with a lot of contacts/missions would have to be huge to warrant the idea that theres a lot of things going on inside, or the zone would have to be full of chaos [RWZ as an example].
Personally i dont have a lot of time at the moment to play a lot so i16 SHOULD keep me happy until GR comes out.
I do hope that GR brings a lot of new experiences for us though, me no want shiny! me want new boom badda boom!
Noob
xXx
Edit: I think i was tempted to at least try out CO but since this is my first and only MMO i dont really fancy starting again and investing another few years of my life into something to get anywhere. Co* is well known to have one of the nicest communities around though, so think i'll stay here for a while longer yet! -
