My only viewpoint, really, is that if they want us to treat it as a cheap point-sink trading card game...then the cards need to be cheap and trade-able. At least to some extent.
Anyone who has ever collected trading cards KNOWS that it's a gamble with real money. That's the whole POINT of trading cards, from a manufacturers standpoint. If they're really going to stick to the 80 point cost--then that's only ONE DOLLAR A PACK. And one dollar a pack is WAY cheaper than what the old trading cards I used to buy cost.
So make sure I can trade with friends some way, and add some tracking component to the game so I can see what "cards" I'm missing and still need to track down. -
You have the patience of a saint, VK.

I'm not particularly concerned whether or not it has bikinis or posing pouches in it.
What bothers me is that nearly every single item in the pack is ridiculously gender gated. Oh, and more importantly--it doesn't have holsters or hats, etc. It's just...really bad. -
So what you're saying is that, regardless of whether or not it is participated in, it's a moral imperative that needs to be addressed?

What's your opinion of Digital Storm's customized systems?
-
It says some powers require momentum to be used, and that they are marked. I don't see any marked powers.

Uh, you know that the in-game TCG is optional, right?

He was responsible for good and bad things that happened. And I'm thankful for the good things.

Quote:Because that's TOTALLY what's going on.Hey Zwillinger! Tell Cheryl that the Gunslinger set turned out pretty great and not to worry because haters gonna hate no matter what.
We're all trying to tear Cheryl down, it's a concerted plan.
It's not dissatisfaction of a long-awaited feature, which proves to be dissatisfaction symptomatic of a long and ongoing problem. Certainly not. :/ -

"Greetings, hero! We need you to stand on this corner by this red light and satisfy some lonely people's carnal urges!"

Of course I have unreasonably high expectations of Paragon Studios. Everyone should.

And yet, that paranoid delusion is the Word of Dev. Thus it is so, and shall be.
I don't know if you're being facetious or not, so I will just agree with you. I look forward to more clothing options for male body shapes. -
Thanks guys, it sucks.

Quote:I'm not raging, "I HATE THIS GAAAAMEEE!" I'm raging, "This doesn't work!" or "This could be improved!"If we complain, I mean, give feedback, it's only because we want CoH to be better still. The devs' receptiveness to our input separates this game from so many other MMORPGs.
There is a significant difference. And having been here for nearly eight years...I think I have a good handle on the level of quality I should expect from this game. -

Quote:This^. Also, I'm still missing corsets and skirts for my guys. Why exactly?
Is female characters should have access to every type of option, why shouldn't male characters?
Is it wrong that someone can see a cool gunslinger costume on a male character, want it for their female gunslinger but find out they're stuck with a striped corset?
Yes, it is, horribly so.
But, by the exact same token, if someone sees a striped corset on a female character and wants it on their male hero, but finds out they're stuck with all the "cool" pieces that don't fit the concept, that's sexist too.
There's absolutely no reason any costume piece should be exclusive to either gender. -
In my engineering department, that's still an A.
