  1. All missions (including Architect missions) scale for the number of players in the team. So if you do them solo, the number of enemies will be small enough for you to handle. If you take a team of eight the fights will be much bigger.

There are thousands of Architect arcs already created. A huge draw for the system is the ability to share your work with the entire community.

    Pirate Hook

Someone a while back had a great concept for a pirate aaarcher, with equal hook hilarity.
  3. The slightly random spawning thing can be frustrating. I put a bunch of optional detail in my missions, and I want players to see it, not finish prematurely because the objective glowie set to spawn at the back shows up half way through the map.

The lesson I take from this is that my missions should be constructed to be interesting even if a player doesn't see all of it. It's my fault if that is not the case. Ego shouldn't get in the way of a good mission.
  4. I played a Pawn in Time. Thought it was rather good. A comfortable 4 stars. The other one looked fun, but I got into the first mish and my level 42 Defender was facing level 46 Elder Snakes... no thanks. Snakes spawn weirdly because of that split level thing they have going. I'll give it a go with my 50 Brute, but does it have to be Snakes?
  5. I know how you feel. My arc's the same way. But you know? There are tens of thousands of the things. So either be patient, or do a little publicizing. It'll get played.

    $name Issues

That would explain it why it sometimes works, but mostly doesn't. Thanks, GD. Kind of a shame. I rewrote.

Arc #92560, if anyone wants to test. You get your own faceless minions, lair and world-dominating plot! (/shameless plug)

    $name Issues

It's actually for the side of the battle allied to you. They're your minions- I want them to say "For $name!" when they fight, only with the name, and not the dollar sign thingy.

    $name Issues

I'm having an issue with my $name tags. They work fine everywhere, except for text in a Battle objective, where it just displays, well, $name.

    Anyone experienced this?
  9. I just published an arc which'll give you your own lair, faceless henchmen and plot to take over the world. Your contact works for you, not the other way round. The final details of what your fiendish Device actually does I leave to the players imagination, so that can be as horrible as you like. I hope it'll be good for that villainous feel that CoV sometimes lacks.

It's #92560, Your Evil Victory Is Nigh.

To avoid this being solely about me, arc #16754, The Great Fromage Incident made me laugh.

Want an easy fight? My brute actually lost hit points on hitting level 2. Come get some free XP!
  11. In fact they already dumped an infinite supply of recipes on the market. You can buy them from any crafting table. You might pay a bit more then on the market, and you'll make a big loss at a vendor, but the devs made sure common IOs had a price control built in. So no worries.
