I don't think that this was a "Do you approve of farming" thread.

There are plenty of them already tbh.

Thing is to 50 takes commitment, and if i was receiving inf i'd feel guilty about taking a break or doing something else.

Although in saying that I now have 3 accounts and a perma 46 sk so I should be able to power through the levels. Maybe I could test the water, ;P

Didn't get any Card documentation, just an installation cd and a catalog from the supplier.

no the card has 1 6 pin, but the adaptor has 2x 4 pins. like this...

There was no 6 pin adaptor with the card :/ and the power supply didnt have 1. So ima using an adaptor.

Crash happens before character selection as well as in game.
Power supply Unit is also brand new and strong enough for whole system.

Most of the higher end cards need to be plugged directly into the towers internal power supply ( there should be a lead supplied with the card )..if it isn't connected up to the supply then the card will not perform.

Yeah I have this installed and the system details under My Computer says its working perfectly.

There is a 6 pin power adapter inside, with 2 leads from it, both with female sockets. Do these both need to be connected or just 1 of them ?

Yeah took ATI ones out.

Was an ATI 512Mb something or other, I use XP.

yea, got drivers re installed, then updated ones from Nvidia site, updated Direct X 10. Not run in safe mode yet but nothing seems to stop the crash :/

Hope someone can help me with an issue.

I bought a brand new Graphics card for playing CoH, the old one has been on the blink and runs slow and jerky in a screwed up system kind of way. SO.... I bought one of these,

Gefore 9800 1GB DDR3

Now everytime I load Heros I get the login screen as usual.. and then the server selection as usual, but I will only get about 2 - 3 seconds into the character selection screen before everything crashes.

Blocks all over the screen, and distorted colours like its in 256colours or something, and the sound is all screwed as well.

I ran everything perfectly last night for 5 minutes and then crashed during game play.

Anyone any Ideas what would cause this?

I find this in particular insulting and annoys me... its a similar situation when I look at /search..

I see search comments that say "I WILL NOT FILL / FARM / PL so DO NOT ASK"

To be honest people with hostile search comments like this would encourage me to send them tells saying "fill plox" ~ lol

People forget this is a Mmorpg, if you don'y want to be contacted... go play your playstation.

As you can see from my first post Vox, I was commenting on a generic response and attitude given to all farmers asking for a filler.
I was explaining how farmers should not be tarred with the same brush, and they should not be so hostile towards us and that was the reasoning behind my reply.




Now.... as for these comments you made, ill answer them all together because you don't seem to be reading my responses properly, because you are saying the
same things I have answered already,, so this should clear it up.

Filling is not teaming, it takes the amount of time for the farmer to run round the map once at superspeed, it's the easies help you will ever give another player in game.

I would never do that...
I do understand people frustration, I am only pointing out that there are a few nice farmers out there that sometimes need a fill and we should not all be tarred by the same brush...

You can usually tell from the /t you would get as i explained before.

P.s My farmer is called Kawaiii so If i can help anyone I will... and i would expect other to treat me just as pleasantly.

I gtg now btw, so wont be able to reply again for a while... hope everyone has a gr8 night.
