I did a couple hours of editing and the big thing is that your Doorway archs can't house anythng and that raid blocking on most items have incresed by aound 10% [I had to move my Super computer away from the monitor banks a little more.]
if you do this you should be able to edit in rooms again.
I think the idea of this patch was to pull anchors off doorways so you can't eyeball invaders . . . -

From what? The overall accuracy/to-hit from a mob isn't changing only the way the values are calculated is being adjusted. If you had no defense or to-hit buff you will notice no change. If you had a small defense you will notice a greater effect versus higher ranking and higher level foes.
Server will have to provide larger calculations for combat increasing lag. (it will be harder to take out hammy I bet)
The equation itself didn't change just the variables so no more compute cycles will be used when the change goes through.
MoG, Elude, Overload, PFF, etc will be harder than ever to punch though by players.
What exactly does this have to do with changing of to-hit debuffs?
How about Aim?
How about Build Up?
To-Hit debuff enhancements are supposed to go in these powers?
I'd like to know how much my 3 slotted nova form with 2hit buffs will be reduced and my debuffing AOE attacks?
To-Hit Buffs were not changed, To-Hit debuffs will have a stronger impact on higher ranking/higher level foes but losing a bit of effect on minions.
What about underlings?
Underlings use the same basic accuracy and to-hit as a basic minion so no change to them.
Monsters? Giant monsters?
I believe these both use AV level accuracy/to-hit and as such you will have more effect on them than you did previously.

Just wait and see when this hits test. Builds that depend on 2hit buff and debuff WITH the defense change are going to have a new play style. Trust me I'll notice the difference in pain on my squishies.. that 3% that gave me defiance will now give me death becuase my buddies debuffs are not as strong. My /SR scrappers will be coming out of retirement becuase he won't be 1-2 shotted for every foot stomp from an AV that comes his way. Glancing over the numbers in this thread the overall playerbase is getting a small nerf. Drawing conclusions over nothing? I've put so many hours into this game that I notice every tiny change, my toons live on the bungie cord of death. A small change here ...and small change there. I remember when I could power thrust minions over the atlas globe, regen scrapper could tank hammy, And I could snipe at 300 yards, it's all gone...by little changes here and there. Watching what the devs do, questioning the numbers, and drawing up debate is what give the average player a chance of holding that meta-human super hero glory. Do a survey and find how many players from CoH Beta are left. Your being nickeled and dimed and don't even realize it . . . -

This bug still exists. I used a Total Focus with my stalker on a gold Bricker and I Energy Transfered his wingman. They immediately took to the air and few far as they possibly could doing the druken dance the whole time. -
Will the new Accolades Hurt Badges like the current ones do?
IE damage taken and HPS healed in the "Accolade bonus" HPs never get counted?? -

How about the best of both worlds?
We know Isolator in it self is a flop, we have all tried to stop the outbreak ...but it is still there being fed by villains. So our first career move in Pargon city is still ongoing. A plot that goes up to Arachnos himself. Technically, Positron can work this into the badge text and offer another way to get it we all would be happy campers -

Yup and I tested this out. Was with a SG Mate[well our evil side mate] Was wading in the water so I know he was coming. We set the area up so I could not target a Mob while I whamming my brawl attack. He started the animation to AS me and I saw him clear as day as I was continuously mashing the button. I Gut punched him will brawl yet the AS still landed. We were both in shock. AS hass finshed all it's [hit/interupt] checks before the stalker drops hide. -

Your data is way off. First, Hide+Stealth does _not_ take you to the Stealth cap, it takes you to -890 PER, the cap in SC for Stalkers is -1007. CM stacks with itself with a per bonus of +390 for each instance. (note I actually made a mistake in my intial math by not including Base Perception.)
Hide+Stealth = -890 Per
x2 CM = +780
Base Per = 500
The Blappers will have a total +PER of 1280. The Stalker will have a -PER of 890. That means that the Stalker will be visible to the Blappers from 390 feet away (130 yards).
Aim actually provides no +PER benefit, instead its benefit is to be able to cut through your defenses.
So in other words, you will be seen from far outside of TP range.

Since AS is practically a melee snipe, shouldn't it follow the rules for snipe attacks and have it's range and line of sight checked twice? Once when the attack is initiated and once when it is resolved. Not like now, when people can start up AS and kill someone 100 feet away because the target moved.
If not, can someone tell me how to interrupt a stalker running Elude or similar powers? It's impossible to hit them even if I can see them perfectly fine.

This has been brought up a couple times internally. The problem with making AS check Range twice is that it would be virtually impossible to land in PvP. It would also make it unique in that all other melee powers only check range once, so even if your target is running, you will still land the attack, no matter how far away they get.
It DOES check line of sight twice, so if you constantly take routes which break LOS frequently, you can stop Assassin attacks.

Something that might be interesting to try would be to have a relaxed range check at the end. For instance, 5 feet at the start and 15 feet at the end. Essentially the design would be that if you are moving at travel power speeds you can't be ASed, but if you are moving at sprint speeds you can be. I don't know how that would work out in practice but it might be worth some internal testing.

OK, so then here we come to the crux of the matter. The apparent reason why you are so vocal in all the threads about the Isolator badge. Why you are such a nay-sayer on this issue.
You want to dictate to me (and everyone else) how to play the game.
I personally want my one main character to experience all the content. If he does so (now listen carefully here) THIS DOES NOT HURT YOU IN ANY WAY! If you dont want one of your characters to do everything, get every badge, etc., then DONT do that with YOUR characters! But it is not your place to dictate what is best for everyone else in the game or how they play it. And don't tell me that I "shouldn't" do something with Zube.
I once lived in a little cul-de-sac. One day one of our neighbors decided to paint his house blue. None of the other houses were blue, and this really upset a little old lady living next door. She made a HUGE pest of herself demanding that our neighbor stop painting his house in this offensive color. When he told her to mind her own business, she went house to house trying to get everyone else to pressure him to stop. Of course, this being a free country (at least it was back then), she had no success.
Now this woman clearly thought that she was the arbiter of what was correct and right in the area. She even had a tiny justification, because she had to look at the blue house every day. But you, sir, do not even have that. My having all the badges, doing all the task forces, experiencing all the content, does NOT affect you in any way! You dont have to look at my badges, and you cannot see my souvenirs. You dont even have any way of knowing how many alts I have, unless I tell you.
If you want replayability, then replay. Your choice. If collecting badges keeps me playing, thats my choice.
Granted, I understand that you are expressing an opinion about the game. I get that. But your opinion has, as its foundation, the idea that you get to decide what is good for other players and/or the game as a whole. And that is completely unreasonable.

LiquidX, you seem to fail to understand the whole plot of Outbreak, Heroes stop it then villains sneak over and keep it going. Those of us from Issue Zero to Issue 2 were never data mined for this badge although we started our careers from it, hell even the Outbreak contacts were different back then. When I went though it, we had the entire Outbreak Zone clean as a whistle and waiting for spawns because so many heroes were in the zone beating the crap out of them [only time I've seen 6 atlas parks], I'd say we earned it [or in this case another chance at it even if time travel is involved]. -

So that would leave it open for future events to happen again, I mean one of the Winter event badges already came back, I didn't see not one person complain about that. It seems everyone was happy.
So until I see a redname make a post telling us heroes we will never ever see these Special event badges again, then i suggest you stop whinning.
As for the annual event badges, these I can see you missing and never returning again, many of my toons, I forgot to log in, and thats my problem, I have never complained about missing them as it was my fault, if you were not a CoH hero when this event went live, then you too have no right to complain.
You were not even here for the event is not a reasonable excuse to say bring it back. Many of us heroes were here for the release of isolator and never had the fair chance to even get this badge.
So yes, we do deserve the right to earn it as everyone else did and does.

Yeah the point is, I did kill a bunch of Contanimated on my head start, was it 50? No..but it was sure a bunch of them. If they reduced the badge req. to say, 10 ..everyone would get Isolator except for those who skipped the tutorial, a fair trade IMHO. I'm sure we will see the Halloween, and Winter badges again since the devs have learned the "timer technology" Us vets didn't get any extra badges ..Like "Xenophobe" or something that ties us to the Rikti invasion and pre badge days. The one year badge is for any toon that logged in that day NOT 1 year of fighting crime.

This was a big problem in World of Warcraft. They let people use mods, so of course some people start using them to get an advantage. And then everyone else feels that they *need* to get one or they'll be at a disadvantage. And so modders influence the way the game is played.

Yup this happened in CS, I had a Simpsons mod where everyone looked like toons from the Simpsons, so were people were camping behind crates and windows I'd see a big homer head and AWP through the wall... blam!! Replacing the knife with the trout slap was fun too. ..Mods can be fun but when you have rated games, you get "cheaters"
Stealth Aura now becomes Purple glowie of doom or the flight/foot step movement sounds like a fire alarms [There he is!] No mods is great ... I wish the devs would add more option though . . . -

It would be nice to see some Longbow Presence in CoH beside the ones who sell subpar enhancements inside the stores ... Perhaps a few Groups helping the Military in the RCS? Or some Ballista "Guards" out side of the FC buildings? ...
Also which long bow are worth more XP/Prestiege? It seems they range from 8-11 prestiege as even cons on the same mission.

If your in a Villain or Super Group go to the group Registar. You can select to start a base.
Prestiege is like Clay, the more you have the more you can mold your base. (paper, desks, workbenches, rooms) We all start with some and then Earn MORE while playing the game in Supergroup Mode.
Rent which is due every 2 weeks (what the city wants back from you) comes from this Curve:

Base growth requires allot of time. The best groups right now have between 5-7 million prestiege with active playing.
