I just ding'd 45 on my Earth/Rad not even 15 minutes ago. It has been painfully slow to solo, yet rocks out on teams...
Last night, I was with a trio in Croatoa farming for the badges. It was me (Earth/Rad) a 29 Earth/Kin and a 50 blaster.
I have, however, only seen a couple of Earth trollers while lvling this toon. I took a break after AE went live, so some were lvl'd then. -
Awesome guide, I rolled an Earth/Rad because of your last guide. Guess what I'll be rolling next
One thing I caught on the revision (You had already fixed the other one):
Choosing your Anchor.
Sometimes, especially in lower levels, RI and/or LR can be used to pull part of a group, who will then come to attack you while being debuffed. This works best on foes who prefer melee attacks. This is a great way to do a corner pull, using a location-based control like Earth's Quicksand at the corner. -
Hmm...
An all Kheldian team sounds pretty awesome. What is your guys requirements?
I am always hesitant to switch severs, I have a good SG and awesome friends on Triumph. Not to mention that all my startup money is on triumph
Hmm... decisions decisions. Is LordXenite your global?

That sound awesome, Socorro! and fun!
Everytime I am in a situation like that, the opening to Europe's " The Final Countdown" always pops to mind -
Thanks for the words guys!
The only problem I seem to be having atm is laggy /binds or binds that will not fire off when I press them
ie The power row's will change, but Nova will not go off or come on. Gotten me into a bit of trouble lately. -
... and I am loving it!
A little background about me. I am a scrapper and troller person. Last year, I ding'd my second 50 (Diana Ishtar) and decided to roll a Warshade.
Her name was Layla Smite.
Everything was going pretty well until I decided to group with a bunch of people to do Positron Task Force.
A team of 8 dropped to 3 within an hour (no one would actually quit the TF), lets just say that it was one of the most horrible experiences I have ever had in this game. This experience was so bad that Layla was deleted 30 days later after never playing her again
I also swore off Task Force for the better part of this past year, and came close to letting my account lapse. Perhaps over kill, but I felt justified at the time.
Now we come to today, around a year after doing the Task Force.
Layla Smite has been reborn as a Warshade again. This experience has proven a much better one that last time around.
I was running with a 13ish team: two scrappers, a blaster, and a troller. There was this tight mob in a side room, the team went "Holy...".
I dropped out of Nova, popped a red (maybe 2), ran to the middle of the mob, hit sunless mire, popped back into Nova and had the mob dead before the team could react. I was giggling like a little schoolgirl. The big scrapper dude said mob was dead as soon as he hit his insp. That just made me laugh harder.
This ranks as one of the best experiences that I have had in this game.
Now, I just need to get a couple of SG mates together to take on Positron -
I was wondering if anyone could take a quick look at this video I made about Reinstalling CoH/V ?

Sorry if one has already been made -
Might need to delete the whole directory on your laptop and start again from the beginning, also deleting any City of Heroes Icons that might have popped up on your desktop...
I had trouble the first couple of times trying to do this as well
*edit*
Has an icon named "City of Heroes" popped up on your desktop yet? Instead of running the installer try running this one instead -
Do you still have it installed on your previous computer?
If so you can do the following:
1. Backup your install directory on your old computer, to a big enough flash drive or DVD.
2. Run the installer that you download on you laptop. (You have already done this).
3. Stop the installer about 2-3 minutes in.
4. Copy you backed up files to your new install directory on your laptop.
5. Go in and delete the Coh.checksum file.
6. Re-run your installer. This should verify your files and correct any that might be "corrupted" (corrupted is the best word that I can come up with).

I just want to say a quick thanks for this weekend. RL has thrown me a curveball for the past month or so.
As soon as I get some spare change, I'll be coming back full time
Thanks again!!!
