Not even Nope.avi? Just nope.
What do you know, magic man? -
hybrid just gives you the accolade powers again!
/cynical -
Well, I remember it being said that someone "Hated having their backstory told to them", which is what got me thinking.
Is there anyone out there who, even privately, doesn't want a demon inhabiting their character, even if it doesn't affect anything. -
Okay, everyone knows that some people like to...restrict themselves to fit a concept. (There's a thread about it) I was wondering how far that went, and if it went to badges with specific types of significance.
Let's take this to the extreme, someone with every badge one could hope to own.
Accolades:
Demonic. You have a demon inhabiting you, granting you great defensive power.
Archmage. Your study of arcane things (even if your character hates the arcane) grants you a spell to defend yourself.
Force of Nature: The power description states you have been bestowed the fury of the elements for your destructive ways.
Freedom Phalanx reserve: Do I need to go into it?
And there are more, some day jobs, and the like.
Basically, the entire point of this little exercise is to ask, do you incorporate these? Do you ignore them? Do you actively avoid the badge to not even have it a part of your history? -
If you die and hosp before that, you can use temps too, so I am voting bug.

Almost thought this was an April Fool's joke...
-
I am almost sure that Positron said that as long as you re-upped in 24 hours, it still "counted"
I would agree on PMing a dev though, to make sure -
Finishing "Who Will Die" should give you the rularuu artifacts as base items.

I meant getting nothing for doing the last mish solo.

This is from a redside perspective
First mission: You go back to the Cimerora temple to locate Wade, or find evidence. Arachnos is there first. You put the boot to Ghost widow, then talk to Scirocco and he gives you the knowledge that Wade is in the shadow shard.
Second mission: You hit the shadow shard. Kill Ruladak, talk to Faathim, (who has unique dialogue if you have his badge), he tells you Wade is on an Island in the Pacific.
Mission three. You get to the Island and can talk to a few of the heroes you've dealt with, such as Penelope Yin and Lord Recluse. You go topside and you see a bunch of FLOATING SHIPS surrounding a massive shield covering the island. You go into one of the other ships, either flying or hopping from ship to ship. You get the info that you are gonna need a LOT of firepower to break the shield.
Mission 4: Where are you gonna get firepower? Warburg. You get there, and Malta has tried to take over. You fight Malta and a bunch of tanks with sapper technology, and get control of the nukes. Short mission
mission 5: During all this, Wade's island has begun floating. It is now in the upper atmosphere and he is summoning Rularuu. You go INTO SPAAAAAACE, and fight a bunch of soldiers of Ru, then finally Rularuu wade.
Epilogue: Press conference. Questions asked are "Why did you save the world" and "Who will we look to now that statesman is gone" and, even as a villain, I could say "I will protect you." As you walk out, Manticore says he "Knows your true nature" and attacks. You beat him down. You get a few "Where are they now" scenes, Posi is leader of the Phalanx, Penelope has joined, few other inconsequential things.
THE END
Also, Wade is a whiny pancake who just wanted to be "Free", and Lady grey is torturing all the information about Rularuu out of him -
did talk to everyone, didn't attack the press conference though, I wanted to see all the questions
-
Spaaaaaace
But, It wasn't bad. I have a few complaints, like the fact that the game kinda treats you like a hero either way, there's no badge, and Sister Psyche wasn't faking dead (Was hoping for that)
I, as a villain, at the end of the press conference, got attacked by Manticore. Was kinda amusing. -
Could someone PM me who it is? I am having trouble figuring it out
-
Okay, people are officially putting WAY too much onto the titles of enemies.
The feelings I got through ALL of DA was that, now that we are so powerful, AVs that haven't been able to keep up just kinda...fall by the wayside.
Just because the enemies in the remiel arc were AVs didn't mean anything, because we stomped them like minions, and there was no reason to make them at "minion" level because we were already buffed.
Minion - Monster are not things you notice in game, they're a representation of your character's perception of the enemy's strength. Now that you are THAT strong, certain people just aren't the same level of threat to your character, so they go down in "Rank"
Tub Ci is an AV in the arc where he starts absorbing souls to fight you, because he found a way to fight on "Equal footing" with an incarnate. -
For clarification, I meant the high-collar mantle.
The High collar mantle pack costs 440 points, while the magic bundle costs 400
That is why I asked. -
If I buy the magic bundle, do I also get the magic capes?
If that is the case, why does the cape pack cost more than the bundle? -
A female warshade in conservative clothing!
-
I would probably move out of Paragon, and get all over magical study. Maybe Legacy chain, maybe mu, maybe just good ol' fashion book learning, but I would get magic!
-
Once he is redeemed, Recluse's massive brain will design the perfect bullet train.

I don't anyone to think I didn't enjoy the arc. I really did, I just had problems with it. I whine because I care.
That said, here's what me and a friend came up with that would have been a way better way for states to go.
Darrin is at the ritual site, chanting and whatnot, building up power and starting to open a rift to the shard. Statesman tries to stop him, but gets blown back and stopped over and over. He lands a punch on Darrin, which doesn't do much before States finally gives up on Darrin, and instead uses his link to the well, countering everything Darrin is doing and burning out his body. As he's using up his life-force to counter rularuu, we get the sappy cutscene of "Daddy, can you fly to heaven?" and then he says "I'm on my way..."
Big flash, Darrin wade flies away having picked up a tiny bit of Rularuu's power, States falls over dead with a content smile on his face having saved the world one last time. -

Okay, I have a few problems. The arc wasn't terrible, but i want to get some stuff off my chest.
First and foremost. What the crap was with Wade's "I want to free rularuu" thing being a surprise? ANYONE who has done his arc (That gives a badge, even) knows that. He is quite proud of the fact. How did I not see this coming?!?
Second: The old "Walk into a ritual" trick? Really? Come on States, how long have you been alive again? (before this >_> )
Third: Statesman got NOTHING out of any of this. He just -died-, No grand sacrifice, didn't even bloody Wade's nose. "Herp, gonna fling around the most powerful hero like a ragdoll then leave him a smoking corpse"
States, no matter WHAT people think of him, deserved something a bit more dignified. A grand battle, a sacrifice, something other than just walking onto an obvious trap and getting fried.
